This place is amazing!! We had the best food - everything was cooked to perfection! We had the New…read moreYork steak, the lamb rack, and the stuffed potato with chorizo. The micheladas were the best ones I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot, haha). The restaurant has a very fancy feel, even though the food/drinks were reasonably priced. The ambiance was beautiful - gorgeous paintings of jaguars everywhere and dim lighting to set the mood. The service was outstanding. Our waiters, Guillermo & Martín, made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole night. They even brought my friends and me a mini coat rack to hang our purses next to our table.

The food here is phenomenal. Everything was delicious. The chips, the drinks, the entrees all just delicious! We started with fresh chips and salsa, for the salsa you get about 5-6 different salsa options. The pica- de callio and the green sauce are to die for, really incredible. For my entree I ordered the lamb lollipops and omg they were heavenly. I wish they lasted forever. It came with this delicious gravy on top and a side salad. The lamb was nice and tender, my mouth is watering just thinking about them yum! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. If you're in the area it would be a mistake NOT to come here. 10/10.

We stumbled upon Casa Banana while walking the beach road in Tulum looking for a dinner spot. It's…read morea Michelin guided restaurant and we were lucky to get a table on a Wednesday night since we didn't have a Rez. It's a very vibey spot with low lighting and a boho atmosphere. The highlight of the entire night was the baked fig appetizer! It was gooey and delicious! We also ordered the whole fish baked in the wood fire oven. The fish of the night was yellowtail. First time to ever eat a whole fish and wow was it good! For cocktails we got the Pilar, which had the lightest hint of hazelnut, and the Emerald whiskey cocktail. It was unique, but the Pilar was better. Service was very attentive and made great recommendations. Go check this place out and try and make a reservation for the weekends.

I've been eyeing Casa Banana every night we've been here and it felt so much more chill compared to all the surrounding party restaurants. It was the perfect stop for a reset. The vibe was top tier. So intimate and cozy, and it felt really nice sitting by the fire on such a chilly night. Our server Joaquin was so friendly and attentive and took great care of us. The octopus salad was so lovely, and the Argentinian chorizo was honestly one of the best chorizo I've had. Not very spicy, served with perfectly toasted focaccia and roasted vegetables. We also loved the pickled eggplant that came with it. They brought out complimentary toast and spread when we first arrived too which was so sweet. So happy we stopped here

After almost a week in Mexico , I've had my share of tacos and Mexican food . I was craving for…read moresomething familiar and good . Despite the high cost as most things and places in Tulum, I decided to dine here after reading a few good reviews online and from a friend's recommendation. When you walk into the place , you feel the tulum Vibe, high energy , trendy. The restaurant has both indoors and outdoors ( we sat close to the back where the cooking station was). We were in an Alcove , loved the semi privacy as it's in the corner but didn't love the lack of air flow . We were within the crowd but not in the middle of it . I absolutely love the way it's decorated , the feel and ambiance of the place . Now the food , like mentioned, one week for overpaying mediocre food , I was impressed and satisfied with the menu and the plates we chose . For a party of 5 ( adults ), we had the perfect amount of food from two appetizers ( grilled calamari - the freshened of it is evident as it melts in the mouth and wasn't chewy and the grilled leeks was complemented well with the labneh , capers , breadcrumbs ). I was in heaven as I along with the group enjoyed the entrants ( skirt steak served with mashed potatoes ) and 6hr slowly cooked ribbed served with delicious potatoes . We also got the side of grilled vegetables ( to counter all the meat ). Couldn't resist not ordering dessert given all the dishes came out amazing . We had the crepe with dulce de leche served with banana ice cream . Great second to the last evening meal . Highly doubt the last meal beats this one . I recommend going for all the reasons stated above but would also encourage sharing dishes ( don't over order to truly appreciate all of them ). There certainly are other items that I would love to try next time ( maybe if I come back In Tulum ) like the grilled beets , grilled fish , etc. Good food and drinks , fun / trendy place perfect for groups , dates ( the bar is awesome as well ).

The food good, although it could've been great if the chef would've used more seasoning in the meat ( maybe dry brine it ) before cooking it...? just a thought, same with the sides ( vegetables, baked potato, peppers etc) other than that, very good ambience ( music not too loud) Max ( The dog) the comes every night patiently waits for you to give him whatever you don't finish ( steak ) Español: Nuestra visita fue muy agradable.

The server was attentive to all our needs, helped make recommendations on the menu and helped us pick a delicious bottle of wine that would pair well with our dinner. They addressed us by our last names Mr and Mrs Valles which made me feel even more impressed. They would take away silverware after each meal and provide you with new silverware, they cleaned the table after each meal as well to make sure that even if you had crumbs or a messy eating style they would make sure you had a clean table for the next entree item. During the dinner there was a professional tango dancing couple who dance in front of your table and around the restaurant! It was pretty awesome! Honestly it makes the experience even more exciting. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful during dinner. The view of the ocean from the window seats was also nice to have while enjoying the fine dining Argentinian Cuisines. As for the food we had a Shrimp appetizer that the server recommended paired with Blue Crab Soup. My girlfriend and I also split a Rib Eye steak. Finally we concluded our meal with the Apple Crumble. Let me tell you everything tasted phenomenal! The Argentinian spices and flavor of the shrimp was insanely good, creamy, had some spice, and the flavor was top notch. They cooked our Rib Eye to perfection where the steak literally melted in your mouth! As for the blue crab soup it was absolutely phenomenal and the portion of crab they provide in the soup is perfect. The Apple Crumble would make angels cry in happiness! I am not a big Apple person but the Apple crumble was to die for! Overall, the ambiance can not be beat, the service is phenomenal, the food is delicious, and is a romantic setting that I would highly suggest for couples who are enjoying paradise! Definitely check out this spot for one of your nights in beautiful Cancun!
