Lamb Risotto

We didn't even look up this restaurant. We were just walking past it and loved the vibe. To our surprise it was a Michelin star restaurant. Food was phenomenal and service was great. We sat at the bar as we didn't have a reservation. I ordered the Sea bass and my friend ordered the Lamb risotto. Everything was absolutely delicious, a must stop in Tulum.

Great to discover something new, Argentine sausages. Wow, delicious little things. And Costillar Asados, six hour cooked short ribs! Delicious. And great service, excellent recommendations on cocktails from my waitress, and a cool atmosphere. You can get close to the open fire where most of the meats are cooked, sit at an outdoor table, at the long bar, or under the roof, but the whole restaurant is open to the outside from the front. I also recommend the empanadas and the delicious sauce accompanying an order of two. I highly recommend the Petra cocktail, spicy salt on one side of the glass made with mezcal.

The food here is a 10!!! The ambiance is warm, cozy, fun, organic! The cocktails are on another level. can't say enough about this place. Love everything about it. Definitely make it one of your stops while in Tulum for sure.

Tacos!!!

Food was so delicious. Perfect stop for tacos!!! Went there this summer on vacation. Was recommended by someone we met at the beach!

Now this is a tasty spot to visit on the Tulum strip. The service is awesome, and both the food and drinks are great. I'll certainly be back

The highlight of the entire night was the baked fig appetizer! It was gooey and delicious! We also ordered the whole fish baked in the wood fire oven. The fish of the night was yellowtail. First time to ever eat a whole fish and wow was it good! For cocktails we got the Pilar, which had the lightest hint of hazelnut, and the Emerald whiskey cocktail. It was unique, but the Pilar was better. Service was very attentive and made great recommendations. Go check this place out and try and make a reservation for the weekends.

I've been eyeing Casa Banana every night we've been here and it felt so much more chill compared to all the surrounding party restaurants. It was the perfect stop for a reset. The vibe was top tier. So intimate and cozy, and it felt really nice sitting by the fire on such a chilly night. Our server Joaquin was so friendly and attentive and took great care of us. The octopus salad was so lovely, and the Argentinian chorizo was honestly one of the best chorizo I've had. Not very spicy, served with perfectly toasted focaccia and roasted vegetables. We also loved the pickled eggplant that came with it. They brought out complimentary toast and spread when we first arrived too which was so sweet. So happy we stopped here

The micheladas were the best ones I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot, haha). The restaurant has a very fancy feel, even though the food/drinks were reasonably priced. Our waiters, Guillermo & Martín, made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole night. They even brought my friends and me a mini coat rack to hang our purses next to our table.

The food here is phenomenal. Everything was delicious. The chips, the drinks, the entrees all just delicious! We started with fresh chips and salsa, for the salsa you get about 5-6 different salsa options. The pica- de callio and the green sauce are to die for, really incredible. For my entree I ordered the lamb lollipops and omg they were heavenly. I wish they lasted forever. It came with this delicious gravy on top and a side salad. The lamb was nice and tender, my mouth is watering just thinking about them yum! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. If you're in the area it would be a mistake NOT to come here. 10/10.

The owners are from Argentina and the menu is written in both Spanish and English. The restaurant serves Argentine wine and brunch/lunch and pastries. The specials board displayed outside the restaurant of daily offerings is what initially drew me in. We weren't very hungry but wanted to sample what they had so we opted to try two empanadas, hot green tea, and this dulce de leche filled meringue cookie. The empanadas were served iced and had a good amount of filling. Heavily fried, the meat one was pleasantly spicy and the cheese and pepper (very interesting pepper I can't recall the unusual name) was very good as well. The tea was brewed fresh and made iced to order. The "cookie" we had was light and although the filling was decadent, I don't believe it was over-the-top sweet. It was cool to see other desserts on the counter which we were unfamiliar with. It took restraint not to order more sweets. The English speaking diners in there claimed the food was delicious and I thought their meals all looked excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. I would return here again if in the area.

After looking at the menu I decided to get a chicken milanesa provolone style with mash potatoes. I also got fries with eggs on the side. (I saw so many tasty pictures on Instagram..it was hard to decide what style milanesa I wanted) The provolone style milanesa has mozzarella and melted provolone cheese, tomatoe sauce, and oregano. The milanesa was super tasty and crunchy. The combination of the fries, egg, and milanesa in one bite is amazing!!! You have to try it!!! The one person milanesa was a good size for me. I eat a lot so I was so excited when it came out! Plenty of food. If you have a small appetite you could probably share the one person milanesa. If you are okay with sharing your food I believe the one person plate for two people is enough. I ate half the milanesa and took half home and ate it a couple hours later. Very good!!!
