Great friendly service! Food was hot and fresh, chips were hot and fresh also. We had the steak and chicken fajitas and texas style quesadillas. Super size portions and delicious. Restaurant score is an A

Pina colada

Stopped by around 2:15 to catch the lunch menu. I ordered the lunch chimichanga which came with rice and beans. I asked for the ground beef instead of chunk beef and double rice/no beans. There seemed to be only one server working but he was handling the tables very well. My food came out HOT and it was soooo good. They have the best chimichanga and Mexican rice in the area to me! My pina colada was good too. I drank every drop of it.

Even though Covid-19 put a damper on most of our Cinco de Mayo plans, I was still determined to celebrate at home with some delicious Mexican food. I'm so glad that I decided to order from El Sombrero. I decided to call the restaurant to place my to-go order, but I received no answer the first three tries. I decided to try for a fourth time and was put on hold for about five minutes, then I was hung up on. I could hear a lot of people in the background ordering, so I figured the employee on the phone was a bit overwhelmed. Since I was still determined to get my Mexican food, I physically went to the restaurant to place my to-go order. I'm glad I decided to do that, because I was able to place my order with no problem! The food was hot, delicious, and El Sombrero is very generous with their portion sizes. I'll definitely be returning! Besides the phone issue, everything was great.

Two mosquitos in our food

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I am highly disappointed in the overall experience. There was a mosquito in my food. Another member in my party had a mosquito in her food as well. It was disgusting. We spoke with the waiter (said his name was Jose) and he was not concerned at all. We asked to speak with the manager, who came to apologize and claimed we didn't have to pay for anything. Our appetite was definitely ruined, he took off the price of our food off but still charged us for drinks, disappointed. The staff overall are terrible. It's difficult to get their attention once you place an order. We ordered food that we never got and the food that we did receive had bugs in it. We will never support this establishment again.

Been eating here for over 10 years the food is great! They will make your order however you like! I ask them to hold this and that and it's never a problem! They are usually quite busy but don't let that discourage you from eating there! The service is super fast! We never finish our cheese dip before we have all the food on the table! Last night they had a singer walking around playing the guitar and singing Christmas music witch was very nice! I definitely recommend this place! Tortillas are made fresh when you arrive!

This was literally my first visit back since the pandemic and I was a little excited to go, especially since it was Cinco De Mayo. We were a party of 4 and sadly the service wasn't good. We placed our order well before some larger parties and others who came after us and after watching them get their food, we asked about ours. Our server never came back out of the kitchen until much later but we did finally get our food. They did apologize but never said what the issue was. Despite the issue with service, our food was good. I ordered the spinach enchilada Suizas which had a spicy kick to them. I liked them. Would have loved them if it wasn't for that extra kick. The spinach was also not wilted as it is when I've ordered this dish from other restaurants. The drinks were ok too. Nothing to get excited about but I'm willing to bet they were just a little watered down due to the special day. I am going back because it's a local spot that I've enjoyed in the past.

No lettuce, cheese, cabbage, sauce, or anything else that would make it a taco. But I did get 3 small cups of mystery liquid that I assume was to dip or pour over? No idea. I tasted one and it was extremely spicy and did not have a good flavor. My husband got a P5 Happy Plate and it had an odd taste. We should have left after the smelly menus. We told the girl at the checkout about how they smelled and she just looked at us. No response.

If you do muss out on this place, it is your loss. Thanks to Yelp and the overall positive reviews, I was seeking out El Cabrito and I still drove by it, lol. Oh well, not a big deal and in no time, I was parked in their parking lot and walking in. I was seated and the overall ambiance was what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy, but that's okay. For me, I have always found the best Mexican food in these mom-and-pop, more humble type places. My server was friendly and I opted to go with one of the burritos. I believe that they called it their grande steak burrito. I enjoyed my burrito and for ten dollars, it was competitively priced. I would definitely recommend El Cabrito.

That said, dining Mexican is about the full experience, and Salsa's fell short for me. The complimentary chips were thick and cold--I much prefer them thin, crisp, and ideally warm when they hit the table. The salsa itself was disappointing too: thick, plain, and more like tomato sauce than the fresh, zesty dip I was hoping for. Service also had a hiccup--I was charged for extra pico and sour cream that never arrived. Not the end of the world, but frustrating nonetheless. All in all, while my meal was tasty and my son enjoyed his birthday, I can't say I had the complete Mexican dining experience I look forward to. I'll give Salsa's another shot next year, but for now, it's not at the top of my list.

The price is truly amazing for a sit down restaurant. The reason I ding this a star is the quality of the overall menu isn't there, you can find some super star dishes that taste amazing (I get the No. 26 juevos con chorizo that is amazing) but the menu is like 100 items and every time I have strayed from No. 26, it has not been the best.
