Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

If I end up in a similar position again I'll definitely consider coming back.

Just tried panuchos for the first time and was blown away. They're like super tacos with the tortilla stuffed with refried black beans. Tried their birria, asada and cochinitas. Each was fantastic in its own way. The family that runs this shop is super sweet to boot. They're a lovely addition to the neighborhood and I'm psyched that we have such an authentic option with walking distance. Had previously tried their nachos and breakfast burritos which are solid as well. Highly recommend trying their dark green salsa. It's on the spicy side, but the flavor is unlike any other salsa I've ever had. The ambiance is decent as well. There's a covered little patio area with a few tables and a bar top. Wow. This is easily some of the best Mexican food in Portland. And they have so many good looking options. We're vegetarian and had a tofu burrito with peppers and a chile relleno burrito with rice and beans and a super saucy nopales and cheese gordita. The combination of all the flavors is amazing. Delish salsa too. Everything is homemade by a super nice family and they clearly love what they're doing. Plus the prices are great. Our new favorite cart for sure! read more
