When I have had it in the past it was tender and juicy. This time it was overcooked and bone dry. I do have to say that my brother in law also had it also and his was perfectly prepared. My wife had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was passed around the table but not finished. The ambience was refined and comfortable as always. We have always experienced superb service here at Cielo. Today's was ordinary. When I commented on my entree to my waitress I could tell the feedback wasn't going any farther and she really did not know how to respond or care.

We sat in the dining area which has a jungle-like tangle of trees right outside the windows. Service was quick and friendly. The food was just average but pretty on par for this type of restaurant. I had the garden salad with the catch of the day on top which was black grouper. It was decent but didn't blow me away. Overall it's a fun place to stop if you're out boating in the area, but fining dining it is not.

New bartenders/staff every week or two, nobody can stick around. Bartenders drinking on shift, trying to memorize orders instead of using the handheld POS system - what arrived at the table was not what we ordered. My husband's refire on his wrong meal took 20 minutes to arrive, and was cold, as well as fried to a black crisp; when he asked about it at the bar (because the bartenders weren't on the floor), he was told "I don't know what happened. I'm a bartender, not a food runner." I don't think we'll be back any time soon. I miss the great staff they used to have. This used to be a favourite neighbourhood hole in the wall.

The crab legs were pretty dry, and some of the gills were still attached, which was honestly a little unappetizing. The broccoli tasted like it came straight from a frozen bag and wasn't really seasoned. The mashed potatoes were decent but nothing special. Honestly, I've had better crab legs at restaurants back home in Michigan, which was a little disappointing considering we're visiting a coastal area. The drinks were okay but a bit on the weak side. Service was slow, but I do want to give some grace there -- our waiter was also the bartender and seemed to be handling all the tables near the bar by himself. He was very friendly and clearly working hard, just probably stretched way too thin. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, but the food didn't really live up to what we were hoping for while on vacation.
