    El Roy's off Sebastopol Ave.

This place is amazing, I don't know what took me so long to try it out! Today I got the tacos Dorados and they were so extremely delicious. The shell was nice and crunchy. There was lots of Cotija cheese on top. Good salsa. I was able to get four tacos under $18, very reasonably priced. I'm excited to try some different options as well and I will be coming back with my whole family!

I've stopped here many times on my way home from work. The food is fresh and flavorful. The service is quick. I usually don't have to wait long; this is a food truck so it is in a parking lot so ambiance is fine for a food truck. It's a good price and convenient right off of Santa Rosa Avenue. At least, that's where I seen them today on my way home from work. We all ordered some food from this food truck today. My entire department was enjoying their lunch today, and I will be happy to call on them again soon. Cheers, my friends SYOY 06/18/2025 review #377

As someone who's moving from LA to Santa Rosa, I had to make sure I could get good tacos here and let me tell you, these did not disappoint! The tacos dorados were amazing and my partner loved the regular tacos as well. The green salsa with the carnitas was chefs kiss. I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

Always delicious. El Roy's is fresh with lots of flavor. Their meat is better than most Santa Rosa taquerias.

Don't just order two tacos...go for four! Trust me, these are hands down the best damn camarones tacos I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating, I still dream about them! You can choose between crunchy, crispy, or soft tortillas, and that creamy sauce they drizzle on top? It's like a flavor explosion that makes your taste buds throw a party. Each bite bursts with deliciousness, especially when you add the side of red sauce they give you...it's like a flavor firework show! The best part about these tacos are that they hold together like champions. I genuinely wish they'd set up a truck in SF because I'd be first in line every day. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, and there's plenty of outdoor seating for you to bask in taco glory. If you're a true taco hoe, you've got to come here.

Live down the street from el Roy's and for years they have been consistent. Obama was president when I started going to this food truck. The two things I love from this truck are the taco darados with cabeza and a carne asada super burrito with double meat no rice (sometimes rice) I will also do a carne asada burrito and add shrimp for a surf and turf burrito needless to say this is the spot I go to for the best burrito in town or for some crunchy tacos.

Came back to Santa Rosa really wanted to find the truck that we found the last time. Unfortunately, we found a different location. As soon as my partner and I came up to the truck, we felt like they started judging us. We placed our order. The lady was super nice. We asked her what was in the torta. She told us what it was my partner ordered it, and the men just continue to look and stare. As you can see in the pictures, everything looks amazing unfortunately, the torta had no flavor to it whatsoever. I will definitely not go back to this location. I will try to locate the other location we went to which now we believe it's in the one Santa Rosa Ave. and not Sebastopol. The men should not be very judgmental about an interracial couple.

Elroy's has some great shrimp tacos! Three shrimps on each taco with a delightful, mild creamy sauce. It has very good flavor, and they have a hot sauce that goes on it as well, which is still kind of mild. If I have one criticism, it could have a little more kick to the dish but it has really good flavor as it is. Definitely worth stopping for the shrimp tacos, and I plan to try one of the other menu items.

Did someone say shrimp tacos from el Roy's?! I'm there! They are always yummy! From lunch to dinner. I'm not sure if they do breakfast- but I personally don't want them for breakfast, but no judgement if you do. I get it. So anyway, I don't know what creamy sauce they put on those, but I'm hooked. My to go is 2 shrimp tacos and a sope al pastor. The sopes here are my favorite. They have that crunch to perfection. I just ate, I'm hungry again. Well they take card even though they are a food truck which is a plus for me.

    Where would I park?

There's limited parking on the lot they're on, but you can always park across the street at the Roseland Village Shopping Center (where Dollar Tree is).

I ordered a quesadilla from Pezcow which is always a treat since it is made with masa rather than flour tortillas. It was delicious but the gal gave me a buzzer that didn't work, so the food sat for who knows how long before I finally checked in, that's always disappointing. I also ordered from Yuca Mami which was exceptional! They have good pricing structure going, you can order 3 of a mix and match for a flat rate. I had both empanadas, and the panucho. Everything was delicious and gluten free which is always a bonus! When we went they didn't have alcohol yet; I think they've added it back now in the new location. Not really a deal breaker for me, but the option is nice. I think the layout is nice, parking lot is generous to be able to find a spot. Plenty of covered seating which is nice to not bake in the sun while enjoying your food. I wanted to try the tlayuda from Lucha Sabina but the line was crazy long; next time. Mushroom tacos are also on my radar for the next visit. Till next time!

The five of us ventured out to find Mitote Food Park. We had heard it had moved from its original…read morespot but it was still located on Sebastopol Road. It is easy to find and they have a parking lot which was convenient. As we entered the area we could see many food trucks parked near each other, sort of in a circle. There is also a large canopy over the entire middle with lots of picnic tables and additional seating under patio umbrellas. Music was playing but we found only three trucks open and serving lunch on this Wed. I saw a churro truck but sadly it was closed too. We visited all three trucks to check out their menus and I decided to order a quesadilla at Lucha Sabina. Some people near us were enjoying something called a Tlayuda from this same truck and it looked amazing! I will have to give that a try next time with my husband because it is big enough to serve two. I had heard that the mushroom tacos were delicious so I asked if they could make a mushroom quesadilla and she said yes. She mentioned avocado would make it extra tasty so of course I added it. I'm so glad she offered that up because it was a key ingredient in my yummy quesadilla. It was grilled perfectly and I was all smiles from the first bite. This place was a hit with all my buddies too. We liked that they gave us each a beeper so we could sit down and chat until our food was ready. My friends all enjoyed their selections but none of us tried anything exotic, just tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. People working were very personable and helpful. We'll have to come back during dinner hour as I'm sure there will be more food trucks warming up their grills to satisfy everyone's cravings.

There are so many ingredients that are smothered in various salsas it's impossible to see what you're eating. Tacos are so overloaded that unless you are a magician it's impossible to eat the thing in hand without dropping half of the contents. I know, it's not really a problem because you do get a plastic fork. Three tacos for $16 seems a bit steep. Relax, it is a full meal that even this hungry man with a canine appetite was satisfied upon completion. Are there better fish / seafood tacos in Santa Rosa? I haven't discovered any. Located on exceptionally noisy Sebastopol road in the heart of "downtown" Roseville. Ambiance is loud and the eating area is kind'a grimy. Though kudos to the vendors who have clean up crews who cruise the picnic tent. Glad that I tried the place. Doubt that I'll ever go back.

I will say that the seafood is very fresh and tasty. However, someone in that kitchen is very heavy handed with the tasty sauces for each item that I tried. I ordered the fish tacos and the shrimp tostada. First, the serving sizes are very impressive. But when I bit into my first fish taco after only 5 minutes in the take out box, it was so wet with sauce, that it made the entire taco soggy and a huge mess. Immediately the tortillas fell apart and instead of a nice crispy piece of fish, it was also a soggy mess. The shrimp tostada was also a disappointment that way, just drenched in a green avocado sauce. So much sauce that you could not taste anything else. There was a good size portion of shrimp but I couldn't even get to it because of all the sauce. I tasted hubby's calamari from his taco (he ordered the "mixed tacos", 3 tacos). It was still nice and crispy. He also had the octopus taco and a shrimp taco and he seemed to really like them. I am sorry I can't give you 5 stars Charro Negro and I hate to ruin your 5 star run, but someone needs to ease up on the sauce so that you can actually taste the good quality food that you are preparing.
