They were called to the touch and you could tell that everything had been wiped down. Both sauces were incredibly flavorful and not too challenging as far as the spice level. The small place is easy to spot; It's the one with all the vehicles parked in front. It's located less than 20 minutes from Marshall, Longview, and Jefferson. Our BBQ lunch started with chips and salsa, the staple of any good taco place. The house-made chips were dusted with chili powder and the salsa was freshly made. The salsa could have had more kick. The brisket had a nice bark, was tender, and had perfect amount of smokiness. The sauce, served on the side, was a bit sweet for my taste. The chopped brisket sandwich was just that: chopped brisket.
