Gus the owner is a retired Commercial Drivers for car transport and his daughter convinced him to open a place so he could make his delicious food for everyone to enjoy. His grandson helped us at the counter. We got the stewed Chicken with aroz gondoles , a Cuban sandwich, a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of pernil. The food was excellent! The Mac and cheese wasn't real wet but not to dry either and was great with hot sauce. The Cuban sandwitch was really good and the pernil was excellent and he game me a lot of the crispy skin! On the way out I got a Cuban coffee and it was delicious! Absolutely going back here and can't wait to try the chicken legs he had on display.

The only dish that left me wanting a little more was the Rasta pasta. It tasted good, but it felt like it was missing a likkle something, maybe some shrimp or chicken to bring it all together. The real star of the meal was the stew chicken. Lawd, di chicken did nice! It tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The meat was tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone. Some of the smaller bones had cooked down so much they were almost brittle enough to chew. All in all, mi belly happy. The food was satisfying, the portions were generous, and the flavors were on point. I'd gladly return and look forward to trying more from the menu!
