3 Tacos asada
David L.

We came for a going away party last night and had a great time. 5pm on a Friday and it was a full house! Food hot and fast to our table. Their 3 tacos with beef on a soft shell is outstanding. Of the many choices for Mexican in Enumclaw this is our go to location!

Strawberry Margarita and Pina Colada
Vanessa L.

One of our friends suggested this place for our double date margarita night and everyone seemed disappointed except me. The place is located inside an inn. Yelp states that this location is open until 11 pm but they are actually only open until 9 pm on a Friday night. When we arrived, they were able to seat us immediately. The menu is pretty lengthy. They have specialty mexican and american food, but more mexican specialty than american. My fiance and our friends ended up ordering margaritas while i ordered a pina colada. The pina colada tasted more like a smoothie. One of our friends ordered a Strawberry Margarita blended and she noted that it was like a slushie. Our other friend ordered a plain margarita and noted that there was much more ice than the margarita itself. My fiance ordered the Strawberry Margarita as well and noted that it wasnt as fruity as he had expected. Besides the alcohol disappointment, everyone except me, seemed disappointed in their food. My fiance and I ordered the Huevos con Chorizo while our friends ordered the Carne Asada Taco Salad and Tacos Al Pastor. The one that ordered the salad ended up finishing his while his wife didnt. She thought the tacos lacked flavor. The husband who ordered the salad said that it tasted bland and was just typical salad with chips, but he didnt mind his meal. My fiance thought that the chorizo was flavorful. I loved the chorizo as well. With the mix of eggs it just tasted so interesting. He just didnt care for the flour tortillas nor the sides of rice or beans as he said its nothing special. I just loved mixing it all into the tortilla. Staff was sweet and didnt mind us staying until close to catch up. They let us be for the most part until they dimmed the lights and it was our time to go. Overall, nobody says they will come back. I think i might just grab lunch for myself one of these days. I was honestly impressed.

Beef taco and beef enchilada lunch combo.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Their restaurant is located inside the GH (Guesthouse) hotel. Service was outstanding as there wasn't too many guests at the time. From what I could see they have an upper floor dining area that might be used for larger parties. Otherwise, their dining room is full of colorful decorated tables and chairs. I had their taco and enchilada combo. Their ground beef lacked spices and flavor. However, adding their house salsa was their true savior. Without it, it would've been quite bland.

This restaurant is located inside the hotel in downtown, and when you walk in, you get a huge whiff of old, wet man smell. I was really turned off by the smell and hoped it was a fluke, but when I went out to the lobby for the bathroom and came back in, the same smell persisted. The restaurant itself is your Americanized Mexican restaurant with the decorations and bright colors and whatnot. Our server was very nice and the food came out quickly. Portions were indeed large and the food itself wasn't bad. My husband's Chile relleno had the tiniest Chile inside, which was a bummer. My flautas were supposed to be beef but I got chicken and decided to eat them anyhow. Largest flautas I've ever had! Rice and beans were ok but kind of bland, however my husband praised the michelada.

Pollo asada (salad instead of rice)

First time here. Cute place, way better than expected for being inside a hotel entrance. No wait at 5:30 on a Saturday, food was excellent, salsa had some kick, service was good. Husband says carne asada was one of the best he's had, pollo asada was also really good.

Chips w/salsa & beans were on the table before we were even seated!!

This is where the addiction for Mexican food all began!!! I have to be honest...we eat here ALOT. No matter what day or time we have never experienced a bad meal. We all definitely have our favorites....mine is the steak/chicken fajitas with flour tortillas. The wife is all about the arroz con pollo & my oldest sticks with the chicken enchilada. Every time they are ordered they are just as good as the last time. One of my favorites is the fact that they have negra modela ON TAP!!!! The atmosphere is always fantastic & they are all beyond friendly. We are treated like family & everyone there goes out of our way to give my youngest (10mo) extra attention. The only reason for the 1-Star deduction is due to the fact that recently (the last month or so) the time it takes to get our food after ordering has become longer & longer. Other than that there are definitely no complaints here as we will continue to eat here on a regular basis.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. We got our water, chips, salsa, bean dip, and pick de Gallo ASAP. They checked on us frequently until we were ready to order. Our food came fast and looked yummy. I would have preferred less melted cheese but I forgot to ask. Food was good not great. A bit bland but piping hot. Overall I'd say it was good food for Enumclaw and if you're in Eden go and you want Mexican and then go here I think you'll be happy it was really brightly colored inside which was cool too. When they brought us our platter we had forgot to ask about if they use the lard in their beans which they do and they brought us a separate plate of whole beans without us even having to ask which was nice. We got our check we also each got our tortilla chip size soap Apia that had a little bit of syrup drizzled on it and some whip cream so it's a nice little dessert.

This is by far the best Mexican food ever. I order a enchilada w/ rice and beans, while my husband prefers #13, 2 chicken burritos w/rice and beans. Food is always served hot, Service is great, and they have a clean atmosphere!! Love it!!!

Pita's Taqueria - Carne asada fries

Pita's Taqueria

We visited Pita's Taqueria to pick up some portable food to eat while hiking at Mt. Rainier. This…read moreparticular restaurant is a food stand connected to a gas station with just a couple of seats outside. They're pretty efficient so we had our food within a couple of minutes. Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.

The shop itself was pretty tiny with only a few outside spots that were covered with grass, next to a gas station. We ordered some tacos and Carne Asada fries, and surprised that the price was pretty high. They all came out to $55 dollars. I think they should update their brochures and pamphlets with the recent price changes because it seemed like all the prices went up. When we got the food, the food itself tasted pretty good. I especially liked the Carne Asada fries with the potatoes and the seasoning, with the two sauces, red and green that they give us for extra flavor. Service was attentive, they were all really sweet and nice. People came back-and-forth just to pick up the food, it seems like a local hotspot. If visiting Enumclaw again would probably visit again.
