Their staff is super friendly and diverse (a sign at the entrance touts the multilingual abilities of the staff). They seem to have everything including more niche ingredients and even live seafood! I also appreciate that they freshly butcher meat to sell unlike other stores like Amko that freeze it all. There's also a home goods section with cute bowls, makeup, and other stuff. But Meijer's produce has pleasantly surprised me,& even when I order via InstaCart I never have a problem either. I love the variety of produce products as well. I have been getting gorgeous oranges and peaches, nectarines & baking potatoes for example, which I could never find at other stores in and around Champaign. When Im doing In-person shopping at Meijer's, I never wait long on check-out lines & because they have a nice variety in all categories of foods I find many things I just cant get at Harvest or other places in Champaign county. Also, I love that Meijer's carts are for the most part pretty clean-not so at Harvest. The only thing is I wish they had a meat counter & dont generally by fish or meats from there.
