    tacos birroa con consome

(Will be going again in a couple weeks for pic updates and more food ) The atmosphere was on the cooler side but the music warmed us as we danced at the site of the menu. Our waiter Karin was kind, she introduced herself warmly and even seemed like she was happy being here. She kept us informed of our meals that came out ‍ and was even on it with the drinks. (Sorry I just couldn't wait to eat ) 2 birria gorditas con consomé Crispy, meaty, flavorful, dipping it into the birroa oh my lawd just make sure you don't eat ya fingers!! 4 tacos birroa con consome Listen...first bite WITHOUT consume BURSTING with flavor the meat is just WITH ‍ just sit down and tell who ever ISNT driving, that they're driving now! Cause it's nap time babyyyy Nacho steak fries THICCC, cheeesy, you want an appetizer or a take home snack, this is your can def be your go to!! Took Flan to go, but my hungry self couldn't resist and DEEEmolished it in the car Kudos for having an amazing establishment from your chef down to the servers

    Fajitas Asada

The steak fajitas are easily a top 3 meal I've ever eaten. There is no where else on the east coast I'd rather spend my money. Every time I eat here I leave a new man. This food would make Trump love Mexicans.

Outside Do it, take a few more steps All the cool kids are doing it

If you know how lucky yall are to have this around in this earth, good... if not go get your head checked foo! My absolute favorite taco filling is saudero and I've not been so lucky finding it living back on the east coast. The salsa bar here to is something to be shouted a out and adored ( I wake up in cold sweats sometimes having a primal kinda need for this one old lady who had this salsa that was like dirt is consistency and flavor of the sun and gold and all things right in the world) they have that here too!!!!! Stumbling into this place after having to snag a unique color siding and driving here from Fredrick after being volentold by the office Not sure how often I'm going to be making this a regular kind of stop living in Virginia but I'll gladly make that 2/3 hour trip twice for this place

Authentic carne asada street tacos with mandarin fruit flavored Jarritos soda. Truly the tacos are the star of the show that will keep me coming back. The real deal. You get two warm fresh tortillas layered on top of one another with sliced beef, diced white onion, chopped cilantro, pineapple, and lime. I add green salsa to my open taco. Reminds me of the tacos in San Diego. The meat is so tender and flavored so well. The best tacos in Salisbury. They also offer Ojo, cachete, and sesos tacos (cow's eye, cheek, and brain). Most tacos are $2.50 so reasonable for a freakin' fantastic taco! I only wish that they offered carne Asada French fries...

Service heVery nice the workers were pleased help me. And they seemed very happy there were flys in the restaurant about 2 or or 3. Decorations were nice. However the burrito i ordered tasted average but fell apart in my hand ending up in a big sloppy mess. The horchata was amazing i strongly recommend but the chips were overdone and the salsa was just red water. They also had a bar for topping that was nice. The food was ok but the drinks are amazing.

    Molcajete

The food here is delicious! Small joint with a cozy small business vibe. Everything is great but I tried the Molcajete for the first time and WOW! It's full of refried black beans, a variety of meats from carne asada to chicken to shrimp. It comes with a small plate of rice. My only advice, eat this on an empty stomach.

Al pastor taco wasn't very flavorful at all. Chorizo taco was good, but nothing flashy. Will have to try this place again as I had higher expectations.

This place has good food ...BUT..... THE SERVICE .... horrible! especially the cashier lady who I've put in the pictures. The menu is in Spanish , and unfortunately I can't read everything . She was so rude when we asked questions about things we couldn't read and understand, we even caught her rolling her eyes at us at one point along with saying rude comments. I love supporting small business but will not support one that can not offer common courtesy to its PAYING customers. But yeah other than that, the Birria tacos were scrumptious!!

Secondly, you couldn't see the cheese. Also, the tomatoes they put on the nacho was just ONE SLICE of a tomato, not cut up tomatoes, but a single slice of a tomato. When you order nachos you expect a lot of cheese and the thrill of a pull and seeing cheese. No salsa on it, no onions, nothing; just cheap cheese and ground beef. Absolutely disappointing. The enchiladas I had had a sauce that you can absolutely tell came from a can. I'm sorry, I really am. But how can nachos be disappointing? At least put them onto the oven and broil them so the chips are crunchy. I hope they succeed, I really do. But IVE NEVER not finished enchiladas or nachos; I had to stop eating them. PRO: the atmosphere is good and staff were VERY friendly. But please, please, the food was not good. I hope they learn to make nachos better and improve their sauce and enchiladas. I definitely looked like it was microwaved. I wish them luck, truly.

They made is tableside and it was delicious. It would have been better if the ingredients setup didnt block our view but not a big deal. Everyone mostly enjoyed their food and drinks. The margaritas and bar drinks were excellent. My son loved his texas fajitas. My husband and other son loved their vegetarian combo plates. I ordered shrimp & scallops fajitas. My bad for not asking whether they were sea or bay scallops. They were tiny overcooked, rubbery, bay scallops that were fishy and inedible, but the shrimp and all the sides (beans, grilled onions &peppers, tortillas, etc) were all very tasty. The service was funny. We were seated and served very quickly. They did tableside guacamole very well and refilled our chips & salsa. They brought our entrees quickly as well... then they never came back. I was fine that they didnt check in with us but we had to wait forever to get a check. I'd definitely come back. They got all the hard stuff right... next time skip the scallops (but really, how dumb was i for ordering scallops in a Mexican restaurant?) Lol.

At first glance my husband just wanted to keep on driving. Myself I am always open for an adventure and have found some of the best Mexican food in other hole in the wall places like this. There is no indoor seating, there is a small outdoor eating area or takeout only. You wouldn't know they served food from driving by or upon entering the facility. Inside is a store where they sell many Mexican foods, beverages and produce. The inside was not very clean and a bit run down, the outside eating area was littered with cigarette butts and soda cap lids, no trash receptacle other than a thin garbage bag tied to a post that was over flowing. On a good note, the cashier was very pleasant. Our food came out timely , I was disappointed with the food, very bland, the rice was chopped up and my carnitas dry. My husband only ate 1/2 of his Burrito. Wish the food was better and the place was cleaner as we travel down that way often....

Can't beat it! Everything tasted great; I ate in my car before continuing on my way. I used to live in LA and was used to super authentic Mexican food. Hard to find in the Hampton Roads/Eastern Shore area. That being said, this was one of the better places that I've tried; tasted like authentic street fare. The taco even had radishes, which was an authentic touch you just don't see around here; made me super happy. Def will stop again if passing through the area.
