The worst chicken I have ever purchased. It was so very very very salty and so very very very dry. I do not recommend this place.

What…read morecalled my attention about Casa Del Desayuno, was that they had a tranquil outdoor area in which you can eat. This place is closer to the main Boulevard, so if you're staying in the hotels around there, you can probably walk there. We went during the week, so I'm not really sure how the atmosphere/waiting time is on the weekends. We walked in and we were greeted right away. They asked us if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors. It was a nice morning, so we opted for the outdoor area. There was a large family already eating out there, but they said hello to us and we sat at our table. They took our order and the food didn't take long to arrive. In the meantime, the kids and I were looking around at the different plant and signs they had around the place. The food itself was good. It all had tasted great and our waitress came by often to check up on us and make sure we were ok. As we left, they bid us farewell. Really a lovely place to come to and get away from the busy boulevard. Definitely recommend coming here for a bite.

Cute homie patio area. Very quiet as it's just us, another couple and a family. Our waitress was sweet but waited for our bill for a long time even after we asked for it.

I always get the mushrooms with a side of tortillas and just make my own little mushroom burrito. Do it as an appetizer, you won't regret it. My only tip is that if you are in a large group to get separate bills and request it from the beginning. Every time we're in a group, it never comes out right with the split - everyone is charged more.

We went for Mother's Day and it was beyond the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Our server Blanco was fine and did his best, but the food was absolutely terrible. Dry meat, dry and flavorless chicken, thick chewy machaca, and a salmon that was supposed to be grilled came out drowning in grease. Even the dishes looked dirty. We spoke to the manager Oscar, hoping something would be done, but he was completely dismissive. Just the typical apology and nothing else. This place used to mean something to our family and we even had a close relationship with the owners, but ever since the previous manager passed away, this restaurant has turned into a tourist trap. The quality has completely fallen apart while the prices keep going up. Extremely expensive for mediocre food and poor management. There are so many better places to spend your money now. Sadly, El Nido is not what it used to be, and after this experience we will never return or recommend it to friends or visitors again

*Great views *Great ambiance…read more *Great service When you're in Rosarito, this place is an absolute must-try if you love great vibes, great food, and great drinks. First thing to know: cash only . They also have live music and entertainment, which really adds to the experience. We went on a Saturday around 2 PM, and the wait wasn't bad at all just for the two of us. Heads-up though: the later you go, the longer the wait times can get. The views are amazing right by the ocean and the atmosphere is perfect whether you're coming with family or just hanging out with friends. Super lively but still relaxed. We ordered a few drinks, some appetizers, and shared a main course. The Baja molcajete was so flavorful and filling! It comes with rice, beans, and tortillas and was perfectly portioned for two. One small warning: since it's right by the ocean, there are seagulls on the lookout for food . We didn't have any issues, but our neighboring table did so just keep an eye on your plates. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. Tons of space for great photos, great memories, and an all-around fun experience. We'd definitely come back!

The hostess at the entrance said no credit card but actually we were able to use card easily when we got the bill so that was a big off putting. Our waiter was great and speaking Spanish goes a long way of course. The food was good as were the drinks! I was surprised this is essentially American prices (on the expensive side even) but worth a visit if you're in the area.

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice dinner, and I looked up on Yelp and found this place! (YAS MEXICO YELP- COME THRU!) as soon as we got there, we were instantly greeted with a warm welcome. Our servers, were absolutely amazing. They knew some English, although my boyfriend is fluent, I appreciate they tried hard for me! lol :) Food: 5/5 My boyfriends and I ordered drinks, which included a mango margarita, a whiskey, and a lemonade. The drinks were seriously phenomenal! Perfect amount of sweet and alcohol! Then we ordered the food. They're a steak house, so I had to go with the steak tacos. It was amazing! The steak was so tender and seasoned to perfection. However, Our table side chili was the star of the show. My boyfriend even ordered 2 rounds, and we ate it the next day! I should've bought that stuff by the pint lol All around experience/pricing: 5/5 Zero cons, my experience here was nothing short of amazing, and we cannot wait to come back for more! The cost was also reasonable for what we received. $1,125 pesos, and $59 USD. Some may think it's a bit high for Mexico, but in LA it would've easily cost 100.

My husband ordered the coconut coffee and he said it was strong. My son really wanted to order off the lunch menu, but they only serve breakfast until 11am. He ended ordering the breakfast sandwich, which left him a very happy camper. My daughter ordered the red chilaquiles and she was pleased with her meal, but not super excited about it. Red sauce is mild. They also could have been served hot, because they arrived at the table a little on the lukewarm side. My hubby and I both ordered the tortilla españuela - they warned us that it would take about 25 minutes to make. Glad we waited because it was delicious. It's almost like a breakfast casserole that has eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese, and chorizo. Oh, and they garnished it was some spinach and cherry tomatoes. Let me not forget my husbands Cinnabon. It's served straight out of the oven. Light, fluffy & not too sweet. We would order it again. The restaurant is cute and trendy, clean and friendly staff. Our total bill for 4 people was a little over $70 us dollars, which I thought was kind of steep. But .. we all ate well and had fancy drinks. If you're in the area, try this spot.
