Need a late night snack? This taco truck got you! Lengua Nachos $5.00! Come get it here! Located in a busy area in Elmhurst, this food truck is open late nights. Being adventurous, I tried the Lengua (cow's tongue) Nachos. Lengua was so tender and despite it having barely any flavor, it goes great with the nachos - which comes with bean sauce, cheese, chopped tomatoes, avocado slices, white sour cream sauce, and green sauce on the side. This savory treat that I just cannot stop eating! The prices are inexpensive here and caters to the late night crowds. They do make everything as you order - just take down their number and call your order in ahead of time for pick up!

Why splurge on Chipotle when you can get an authentic Mexican food experience at this food truck! :) I CAME. I SAW. I ATE. Super glad I came here with my buddy for a mini dinner meal. I ordered a taco and he got a quesadilla. The truck is usually outside of Walgreens, but after a little more fervent walking in the windy weather, we finally found it perched at a corner. Although it wasn't Taco Tuesday, we knew that we just had to try out the food at this truck. As we timidly approached, the cooks bid us no mind. We stared at the menu for a good 10-15 minutes to try to figure out what each of the meanings of the meats written in Spanish were. Finally, my friend decided that he wanted a Quesadilla, and after much long deliberation, I decided on a Carne Enchilada Taco. Carne Enchilada Taco $3- Each order comes with a slice of fragrant lime. Carne Enchilada is beef in chili sauce. The Taco was about the size of my palm. It had a generous helping of well seasoned meat, finished off with finely chopped cilantro. The missing ingredient to hold it all together would be avocado. Overall it was very delicious, nonetheless. One is about enough to make you satiated. Quesadilla $6- Super generous portion of meats, some mixed veggies, & Parmesan. The quesadilla is like a giant counterpart to the Taco, but with a crispier shell. This was super good as well. Hearty, Warm, & Authentic. Made-to-order, the food here is flavorful, tasty, & delightful. Make sure to bring hand-sanitizer if you're a messy eater(because it will get messy)!

Love this taco truck. I eat here whenever I need late night snack. I get 3 chorizo tacos and it's just perfect. I wanna say they open from 7 pm - 5 am. But don't quote me on this.

Who knew you could find a really good taco place around a neighborhood primarily filled with Asian cuisine and supermarkets?! Though this place is actually a truck, it is one of my new favorite places to get tacos. I recently just tried this truck for the first time and I was definitely blown away. From the exterior, the taco seems a bit shady and old especially with their outside menu posted faded and handwritten updated prices. I ordered a carne enchilada taco which was a decent size for the price of $3. When I took a bite of the taco, it was amazing. The meat of the taco was well seasoned that it melted in your mouth, the texture of the meat was near perfect. I am not a big fan of radish but the thinly sliced radish on top of the taco, I could hardly taste it. There was a combination of flavors especially with added green sauce of spicy and savory. The only part of the taco I was not fond of was the soft tortilla shell. I found the shell a bit too dry and thin and it did not compliment the taste of the meat. The taco truck sells a variety of tacos and I highly recommend this place whenever you are in the Elmhurst area and looking for cheap eats! It is parked right in front of a Walgreen's so if you want to get a drink or dessert, it is just a few steps away!

I ordered here one late drunken night. With my impaired senses I thought that I wouldn't be too critical of the food but I was. I was not satisfied. I ordered chicken flautas. I waited forever for them to prepare them and then when I bit into one flauta it was cold!

Better than any nearby Taco joint. Excellent and always fresh. I highly recommend it! Try the Chorizo, beef and chicken tacos

Once youbfind it, the truck that is, the menu shows prices and an "A" grade inspection sticker. Everyone gets so impressed by a little paper letter from the city, like an "A" means the guy cooking the meat is a saint or something. This whole food setup, it's about as ridiculous and depressing as anything I've ever seen. First off, you walk up to the blue food truck, and the side of it is completely covered with a giant menu listing every combination of meat, rice, and pitas you could ever imagine. Then you get the food you I orderedin a shouting voice, everyone is shouting, it's a total circus. They hand us our two giant skewers souvlaki sticks, somebody had the brilliant idea to stick big, thick slabs of bread right on top of the skewers like stupid little helmets. So there you are, standing on the sidewalk in dirty Jackson Heights holding two sticks of meat while the counterman in front of you is not exactly smiling, dude looks pissed. He's wearing a jacket over a shirt with a giant, goofy panda face on it, looking like a complete weirdo. If you don't get the sticks, you can get these aluminum takeout tins sitting on a tray, crammed full of heavy yellow rice, grilled meat, and pitas all wrapped up in branded paper. We also ordered a big white plate covered in chopped-up chicken, black olives, white sauce. It all smells like char and grease, and it's supposed to be the "best souvlaki" around, but the whole experience just leaves you feeling sort of sad and greasy. It really does.
