Combo dinner with shredded beef chimi and ground beef taco - inedible. Literally.

It's uncommon for my fellow Yelpers to let me down. It happened tonight in a big way. My two friends were wanting some Mexican food and El Patron was close to our resort. The service was fine. There were only two other tables. There was confusion over when happy hour ended so I had to ask for the manager. I was able to order my margarita - crisis averted. Then my meal arrived. How do you screw up a taco enchilada combo. They found a way. The meat tasted gross, literally inedible. The beans and rice even tasted dry and bland. When I asked the server to take away my plate that had nearly all of the food remaining and he asked if everything was OK. I expressed my situation. No discount was offered. Do not eat here. It's not worth the risk.

First time eating here and had a great experience! The salsa, surprisingly, had a kick to it and the meals we had were delicious. Service was great. Would definitely eat here again!

Best / most authentic Mexican food in the Show Low / Pinetop-Lakeside area!! Chips made in house. Beans just like Abuelita used to make.

We wanted Mexican for cinco de mayo, so this place was open and had an extensive menu of choices. We started with a margarita on the rocks and complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit bland, but they were very generous with the amount of chips they brought to our table. I ordered the fajitas de camaron--shrimp and mushrooms sauteed with normal peppers and onions. They substituted some lettuce in place of the rice. Other items for the fajitas were refried beans, sour cream, a scoop of guacamole, and pico. When it came, they were very generous with the number of shrimp. Peppers and onions, but no mushrooms on the plate. When I asked about it, he said they'd run out of mushrooms. If I'd known this, I probably would've switched to one of their chicken fajita options. Not a big deal, but they also didn't bring any tortillas with the meal. The fajitas were good, albeit somewhat bland in flavoring. Salt helped. My husband ordered one of the combination dinners and he enjoyed the three items he asked for. It's a cute little restaurant and the servers were all very nice.

Seems quite on the outside but towards the back it's nice with the tv's with sports by the bar; The ambience is really chill and the decor is cute! But what really shines is the food and service from Ariana, who is a great and quick server. I had the carne asada fries and added the salsa, queso, and guacamole (sold separately) which really elevated my meal, definitely recommend!

Best margaritas in the area. Only place I found that serves salsa that is hot and doesn't taste my tomato sauce. Ask for it. Tip your servers.

    Huge, not god margaritas

Only for taco Tuesday. One time - won't happen again. Taco sheĺs are store bought and margaritas are only fair.

Food is always good and usually, so is the service. Last time we got a server with an attitude- put a damper on the experience.

It was plenty of food. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in an old Wendy's building, but they completely re-did the decor. It's bright and cheery inside.

It comes with bacon-wrapped shrimp (my absolute favorite), quesadillas, flautas, and taquitos, plus it's garnished with cucumber, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and sliced avocado. Paired with their salsa, it's seriously amazing. I also ordered a three-item combo plate and wow -- the chimichangas were so good. I went with ground beef and shredded beef with green sauce, and added an enchilada with red sauce. Everything was super flavorful and tasted fresh. We also got the queso, which I highly recommend. I love dipping my chips into both the queso and the salsa -- so yummy. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. They finish meals with watermelon shots, which are the best. I've heard there are like seven different liquors in that shot, and it's definitely memorable. I come here every time I'm in town, and it never lets me down. Great food, great flavors, and always a solid experience. Highly recommend!
