We tried two items we had never had - the carne asada fries and the garlic bread bites. There was a surprising amount of meat on the fries, and the queso had a good kick to it. The garlic bread was amazing, but oh so so so bad for your arteries as it was slathered in butter sauce. I had a prairie rainbow, which was delivious. Service was quick and friendly.

The walls are filled with amazing art. The ceiling has Mexican colorful banners. They had live music, which set the atmosphere to a perfect date night. The menu consisted of many different burger options. We got the Pastora Burger, which was delicious. We also got some campechano tacos, which are shaved carne asada, carne al pastor, grilled onions, cilantro & red salsa; they were my favorite. Lastly, we tried the rajas fries. Everything was so delicious. Our server was very attentive nice. He made sure to give us recommendations and we actually got served very fast. If you're looking for a nice lunch or dinner, I suggest trying Panda Burgers.

While in El Paso, I was looking for an interesting place to have lunch. And stumbled across the…read moreangry owl. So I decided to give it a try since it's only a couple miles down the way from my hotel. Easy drive up the hill to get there, place was super easy to find. You cannot miss their logo. Ample parking in the lot so you don't have to worry When you walk in, it's a cheery little sports bar. Now from the exterior. I would have thought that this was a chain restaurant, the signage was pro and the outside of the building led me to believe that this was definitely a chain like Chili's or other restaurants. Restaurants. Like it's definitely not, and I love that about the place! I was seated right away in a table so I could check out the whole restaurant. Plenty of seeding on either table tops or high tops, not to mention bar seating. Plenty of options on the menu, I opted for the cheeseburger with bacon, and I also added hatch chilies on it. Asked for the fries well done. To drink, I had an iced tea. The iced tea came out first and was definitely cold but I got to say it was a little weak. Not sure what that was about, but it was still definitely drinkable. The burger came out and let me tell you it was freaking huge! I mean the burger with all of the toppings almost overpowered the bun. I couldn't really pick it up because the bottom bun was sort of falling apart so I cut it in half ate half of the burger with my fork and the other half with my hands. I will say this the burger itself was perfectly seasoned. The bacon could have been a little crispier but it was still very delicious. It came with fries and a metal bowl and those were seasoned great as well. For dessert, I decided to have the margarita lime cake, because it sounded amazing and looked amazing when it came to the table. Table however, the cake itself was very dry. It almost had the consistency of a tres leches cake except this did not have the tres leches so the cake itself was a little disappointing but it came with whipped cream and did have a layer of filling so that definitely helped. Bottom line? This was a great place to grab a bite to eat for lunch. It's got good ambiance. It's God solid Service and just needs a few extra tweaks to make it a five-star! Go check this one out for sure!

I enjoyed them a lot. Cons: they say they open at 12, we arrived at 12. We were told the kitchen wasn't ready for another 20 minutes. We decided to wait. We got our food 40 minutes later, but no fries. They were not ready however they did give us onion rings for the delay. Now for my burger, it was wrong so they had to make it again. The second one was a bit burnt. Both my wife and I did not like the burgers. We only ate half and just stopped. Felt like a frozen patty I get at a cookout. Also they charged me about $2 for a credit card fee! So overall the place was meh and probably wouldn't go back.

Sadly, her service was the only thing positive about my first time at this establishment. My main complaint is the wings... sure, the flavors on the outside were great but the chicken itself, yeah... not so much. I like a freshly fried wing that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My wings here, however, were thoroughly cooked but cold in the middle. The chicken skin was rubbery, therefore chewy. So what does that tell me? They're precooked in house and reheated to serve. I only ate four of the eight. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy their wings, which is good on them. I just can't enjoy a cold centered wing. Much less a rubbery chicken skinned wing. I know a freshly fried wing when I see one and mine weren't freshly fried at all. My sweet potato fries... also cold. My son's lemon pepper fries were great. It is what it is. I'm not one to return food or complain about it in the moment. I simply prefer not to return.

We got 24 wings and did 6 flavors. The extra hot were HOT! Good service. Not very clean restaurant with kind of gross bathrooms. They don't have carrots or celery. Be aware they charge for all flats and blue cheese as well as sides of sauce but don't disclose this up front. Beer selection on draft is okay. They didn't have an IPA on draft so I got a blue moon. Waffle fries were great. Tajin fries were AMAZING. Next time I would ask for tajin seasoning on the waffle fries.

My friend had the Beef Tacos and said they were amazing and so full of flavor! Way to go, guys! You are doing it right! The only thing I would change (and I'm in my 50's...so maybe that has something to do with my dislike) is the music selection, especially during the holidays. Not a fan of the Hip Hop with profanity, especially while I'm eating. And, having everything decorated in the holiday spirit, maybe the music can be just as enjoyable. But, that's just my opinion, and an idea. Nevertheless, we will be back! Your food and service is too god to pass up! THANK YOU! See you, again, soon! And, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Take care and GOD bless!
