This is one of the more accessible wineries in the area. Their wine isn't my favorite, but everyone has different preferences. It's a small space so get there early or prepare to sit outside.Staff is friendly and accommodating!

My bf and I had some time to kill Friday afternoon before our dinner reservation on the same street so we stopped by the winery. We were from out of town and I found the spot just googling things to do in the area. El Paso Winery is a very simple & quaint establishment. No one was in the indoor tasting/bar area when we arrived as the owner was outside on the deck manning the bar table. We were able to taste 2 wines each for free and additional tastings were $1 each. After we finished our 2 free tastings, we bought a bottle of their Pinot Noir and enjoyed it sitting on the outdoor deck patio which has nice views of the mountains and foliage. We were able to watch the sun come down as we drank our bottle. It's not a big place but there are probably about 15 tables outside, no real seating inside that we saw. There was just the one woman running things and her friend who was helping her so we had to be patient while she helped serve other customers. The owner was very friendly though and seems like a place where locals would go to relax.

Our day started with a Chinese tea ceremony in the barn and then a catered lunch. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

9/14/25: Love coming to Fjord Vineyards!…read more We came for their Oyster Party Weekend. Marilyn greeted us when we checked in. She escorted us over to a table with a marvelous view of the vineyards. Maria was our wonderful and charming server. She came over with a complementary glass of their wonderful rosé wine. I'm not a rosé drinker, but it was delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful flight of wines. Our favorite was their '23 Double Fall Line $32. It has a marvelous smooth blend of Cab Franc, Merlot and Blaufränkisch (Austrian Blue) Grapes. Two bottles came home later. : ) Of course, we had to indulge in some wonderful lobster rolls. Each lobster roll was $23, plus for an extra $9 you get a nice dollop of caviar to top it off ! The lobster was from a company called Oyster Party in the NY area. I think the lobster rolls were some of the best I ever had. Just a couple of notes: - It appears the hill leading up to the vineyard was recently paved. Previously, it was extremely uneven. - Be sure to make reservations online. - Parking is available within steps of entering the vineyard. Can't wait to return! : D
