The food here is always great. Today, I went for lunch with some coworkers for taco Tuesday's. It is a fried fish kind and it is the kind that just does it. It is not oily and just a right amount of batter. And the taste is freshly cooked without really needing any salsa if you don't want as it is seasoned well. Although, they have plenty of salsa of all kinds. There is music playing from a music video on television that's always interesting. Restroom is clean and there's a soap dispenser. I had lunch here with my brother and a good friend yesterday. We all ordered the Thursday special, a medium coctail, fish taco or tostada and a drink. Two of us had a couple of beers instead of the included soft drink but there was no credit given for the drink we didn't have. There are no prices shown on anything in the menu (red flag). Hey Mariscos/seafood restaurant that I believe has been here for a very long time in the neighborhood. I've been here twice now and the folks here are super friendly and really really helpful. Because it is seafood I think they leave off there prices of the menu so I just asked the server. I'm both of my visits. I feel like this place is legit with a good amount of locals this time I've been here. There's also some cumbia (?) music playing and a fun vibe here. On my first visit, I got the Tacos Gobernador and taco de papa con camaron. I do love a good potato taco. And to add shrimp sounded amazing. The Tacos Gobernador which I believe is governor tacos is kinda like my one of my fave things - the mulita. We the tacos are made of a soft large tortilla filled with cheese and shrimp that were cooked with spices onions and tomatoes. This was all topped with some avocado, and served with some lime. I'm a big fan. On my second visit, I got the fish tacos because they were the daily special so they were exceptionally cheap that day, but oh so very good. I also got a ceviche tostada, which was fresh and delicious. I also got a large Horchata on one of my visits here. Super refreshing and tasty. Another highlight is that their chips or fresh, warm, and crisp and served with a tasty salsa. I'm really a big fan of this place and the people that work there. Awful! False advertisement... I ordered a "caldo de Cameron" shrimp soup and picture shows side of rice.. however, when I asked where is my side, waitress said that would be extra. Also when our order was taken we asked for horchata and a glass of water ... never did they bring out the cup of water .. so when I got up to ask where is our water, she responded we don't have water, only bottled water ... okay why couldn't she say that when we ordered. Never did they come to see to check on us, we had to get up and ask for napkins. Mind you, that there was maybe a total of 5 people eating inside the restaurant, and the food wasn't anything special. This has been our go-to place for Mexican food and we really like it. We usually get their tacos (we usually get the Al pastor and asada) and Mojarra which are all excellent. We've also gotten different types of ceviche which we also really like. Service is always good and they aren't cheap with their salsa. Some places are so stingy with their salsa but not this place. We love coming here for lunch. I always order the fried tilapia which comes with tortillas, fries, and Mac salad. Always super good and fresh. I have never had a problem with my fish being too over or under fried. My coworkers have tried various items on the menu including fish or shrimp tacos, ceviche, and so much more. I haven't had ceviche in a while so since we always pass by this place we decided to try it out. We came in on a Friday so we decided to get the daily special, which includes 1 Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, a choice of either 1 Fish Taco or 1 Fish Ceviche Tostada (we chose the tostada), and 1 Drink for $15.99. We obviously got it for take out so when we got home, we found that it was easier to eat when we put both the shrimp cocktail and the fish ceviche into bowls, so I recommend doing that. We also had a bag of tortilla chips at home so that's what we prefer to eat the cocktail with rather than the saltine crackers that they gave us. The fish ceviche had a much more impactful flavor to it, while the shrimp cocktail tasted a bit lighter, especially with the cucumbers that it came with. Personally, I prefer the fish ceviche more because it had more flavor. The fish was also shredded up into smaller pieces so it was easier to eat a mix of the different other ingredients in it along with it, as opposed to the shrimp being whole pieces, so it's harder to eat the shrimp plus the cucumber or anything else in just one bite. They also gave us a bunch of limes and tapatio to add to the ceviche and the cocktail. I love adding a lot of limes so foods like these so it really adds some extra flavor to it. As far as covid regulations go they are doing take out only, unless you want to eat at the 1 table outside. They've pretty much cleared out the middle part of the interior to leave room for social distancing and left a table in the middle to supply some hand sanitizer. So far it's been the best Mexican seafood place that I've been to in the area and will be coming back for more. read more

Ive been here twice now and both the service and food have been great. This last time I ordered takeout for my family and I asked for no avocado on one of the shrimp cocktails since my sister is allergic, I asked again when picking up my food just to be sure and he must have forgotten since it was very busy but he immediately apologized and made me a brand new shrimp cocktail to make sure there was no chance of avocado being in there. I ordered to go and everything seemed the same, but I was very surprised they weren't the same old school tacos. Fish portion size was bigger although price double, but it just didn't hit the spot!
