So we stoped by and ordered... took awhile but finally they served it.. and let me tell you NOTHING BUT WATERED DOWN Soup! A Small Taco had more Meat they mustve counted the beans im guessing up to 40 beans per plate! because every spoonful was nothing but a couple and tiny piece of meat the rest looked like water with food coloring HELL NO! Never Again !!! I dont think the chef is from Sinaloa because In Sinaloa they dont be cooking carne en su jugo like this! NOPE ! We Payed and Bailed Never Again !!! read more

The service was a little slow but very friendly. Ordered michelada and the mix was standard just needed a little more seasoning. The fish tacos were crispy, light and fluffy with s nice slaw to top it. read more

Authentic Sinaloanse seafood And I recommend if you like a cocktail to order a margarita Mangonada so yummy I recommend the following and I'll add some pictures Camarones/Shrimp Cucaracha- so tasty they have two versions. I get their original but they have spicy hot. I don't do spicy hot. 3 three fish taco plate delicious Ceviche camaron/shrimp uncooked in ‍ lime, always satisfying The service is great. They even have napkin holders with a a ring for tables. Should you need a table service quicker. they're so friendly and I like that. It's a local eatery sit down. support the local business on the upside the food is delicious. I'll be honest I've never tried to their sushi but I've tried the Mexican plates. The ambience and location is great literally walking distance from my home read more

Food was amazing, the service was great....it was my 1st time here and I was pleasantly surprised ... all they need is a crowd!! But I would hate to ruin it for myself.... they also have KARAOKE... and again I would hate to ruin it for myself read more

Mariscos Rocamar - Camarones cucarachas.. California rolls that I got separately!! Shrimp was so good! The California roll was ok! - Mexican Near Me - La Puente, California

First time here I had the salmon it was really good. I love the rice and beans but their drinks are horrible. I don't know what they think they call a margarita or even a mixed alcohol drink. Definitely never going to order alcohol here unless it's a beer for karaoke, and had some food, but Not everybody was as satisfied with their food as I karaoke atmosphere was really fun and definitely going back for the music and ambience read more

Only 1 employ/server took a while to bring out chips didn't give option of fountain or glass bottle drink was not asked how i wanted my hamburger numerous amount of time waiting for food added spicy cucaracha when we did not order that sushi not worth the hype restaurant was lonely/abandoned looking will not be returning!! read more

Came here to try someplace new and so we could try that hot Cheetos roll.. should've known the chips would be stale. Prices are pretty pricey for mediocre food. Also had a fish taco which was not bad. The asada taco for $3.49 came with only onions and cilantro. Nothing else.. very disappointing. The service from Miriam was good. read more

Delicious fish and shrimp. Everything was made fresh. Nice bar. Music and karaoke. Great and friendly atmosphere. I had 10 for my son's 24 birthday. They celebrated with us which was very nice. Thanks again for the treats. The owner was very hospitality read more

This place needs the staff to be more amicably cordial. It felt like they were doing us a favor by taking our orders. Lol. Oh with NO smiles! Food was not out of this world, it was just ok. We even had to take then the empties after we were done, because they just stay behind the counter looking around. The staff and owner need training but then again look at the location of the place ! I wouldn't bother to go back. It is out of my way. I was there just for a bday party. read more

Great place for authentic mariscos (seafood) and micheladas. We visited on a Saturday, expecting live music, but quickly realized it was karaoke night. Still had a blast with the DJ mixing some good music and the crowd being lively. The crowd was middle age and up, but they were young at heart! The mariscos are very authentic and tasty. One of the better micheladas that I've tried in a long time. Prices are a bit high, with a mariscos appetizer being about 20-25 bucks! Management clarified that the live music is only on Friday evenings. Place is definitely a diamond in thw rough as it looks a bit sketchy from the outside. read more

We stopped by a second time to check it out. The food was just ok, the drinks were just ok. The service was ok the first time but the second time we went the service was awful, awful, awful. The waitresses this time were super rude. Honestly will not be back. Whoever the owner is should have a chat with the manager on how to train their staff. read more

It was a miss not a hit . Service was bad and food wasn't anything to write about . Just a hole in the wall to drink. The oysters did look or smell good. Just wasn't a good experience. read more

This place is not on a major street. Kind of hidden if you asked me. However, the food is really good. We had a couple of Margaritas, my husband had the Margarita Perrona and I had the Mango con Chamoy. Hope I got the names right. The food was good, I liked their Salmoncito Roll, it has no cream cheese which is what I was looking for. Their ostiones preparardos are prepared perfectly. The ceviche that's on top of them helped a lot if you are not a fan of oysters. Will be coming back. They had a DJ, we were here on a Friday night. And there was no wait time. read more

Really good food great karaoke night on Friday and Saturday the dj awesome awesome waitress I like coming here

Food and service was great. Ambiance was excellent.. just need to work on getting more options on mixed cocktail drinks

No vengan a comer aquí. read more

Quality of food & service have all gone down since the last time I've been here. Came yesterday with my sister and our waiter was too busy sitting at the table next to us chit chatting around while our cups were empty. Ok I ordered the micky and it was pretty much all cheese and rice. Ended up taking the cheese off because it was just way too much, skimpy on the salmon and shrimp. Didn't taste fresh at all. Will definitely not be coming back. read more

Who knew Mexican style sushi could be so good?! Everything I've tried here has been delicious. My favorite is the King's Roll. They give you your water in a bottle. I spent over $12 for a sushi roll that had missing/paper thin little slabs of salmon on top with almost 90% all rice and little to NO filling. Saddened how much this place disappointed me. Definitely going to El sushi Loco next time! read more

Love this place great food drinks and music. No crowded like other places. This is the only Mexican sushi place go to.

Great food the service was great we are always happy to stop by and eat here. There seafood is the best.

Place is a little hidden but worth it. Prices are very decent. I didn't feel like I over payed. Loved my tacos. Karaoke was surprisingly fun. All the singers sounded professional well some more then others. It was good food, good music, definitely will return. Staff is very quick to help. One thing I wish the dj would let the video finish instead of interrupting for the next singer. Just a suggestion. read more

I hardly come to this place but when I do I just question why did I choose to come here! It sucks now. Today on a Saturday I walked in and it was stuffy and hot inside. They had no draft beer, but one. My cousin and BF ordered the only draft beer available they brought it out to them in a nice frozen beer jug. When they wanted another round our waiter told them they didn't have anymore jugs just the 2 they drank out of and if they wanted another round it would come in a small mason jar!? So for the whole restaurant you only have 2 beer jugs?? The food was so mediocre, I ordered sushi and it was nothing but cheese I hardly tasted any shrimp, I walked out of there feeling so disgusted. Our waiter was slow she forgot to bring my cousin something he asked for our food took some time to come out then to get our check took another while. That's it I won't be coming back. read more

Food is ok but someone in charge of marketing is un professional. He called me a ignorant person and said I was a loser and told me to get a life after I suggested that why do we have to mention before ordering our food discounts. Pretty much if you don't mention it they will charge full price. That person deleted my comment on instagram and when I asked about it he called me names and said to" get a life loser" and called me "ignorant". I don't know if it was the owner or someone he hired but obviously this person does not care about a paying customers ideas or opinions. I will never set a foot on this business ever again and I will surely tell all my friends from la puente or from anywhere to not set foot on those premises. Try deleting this comment marketing guy! Ill try to put the pic up of when he insulted me I screen shot it. read more

Mariscos Rocamar - El gusano roll so good can't wait to go back & get it again ! - Mexican Near Me - La Puente, California

Food was ok, not good enough that I would go back. Pricey and small portions. I liked the Marlin tacos, Sushi is not recommended. Not if you have any idea what sushi should taste like. My major problem with this place is that they charge a tip in your bill. Some places do this when you have over 6-8 people depending. We had four people and not the best service. My second problem is the up charge there beer prices when the band starts. By Double!! With no warning, that's robbery! I mean, if you need to pay the band then charge a cover, don't hide the charges in the price of the beer. That might be illegal. Won't be coming near this place again. read more

This place was a convenient walk from my friends new home.It seemed to have some sort of event going on. Like, live banda music. Yes, we still went inside. The place looks like it used to be a sushi joint at one time. Then when I looked over the menu...yes, there was a sushi section. Something like a sushi-mariscos fusion of sorts.Being that I do like to try new things, I order a Sinoloense roll. Big Mistake. This place is a "joint" with alot of hoochie mama's walking in for the late night entertainment. This is in a residential area so you are not allowed entry through the front being that the noise level has caused some issues within the neighborhood .Also, you must exit through the back door and through an alley. Don't even think of using the ladies room unless you plan on waiting in line behind a "wanna be" Jennifer Lopez slash Kim Kardarshian ..me quiero taco bell, mamacita!! I wish I could say one good thing about it. Service? Nope... read more
