    Picaditas and Tostadas
    Mel R.

BYOB. Friendly and clean place. Prices were great for the portions. We got tostadas and picadas as apps I got my tostadas with shrimp and absolutely loved it The camarones ala diabla are definitely spicy. Don't underestimate them when they warn you. They aren't cheap with tortillas. So love them for that. And lastly very attentive workers.

First off we were here early when nobody was around, the waitress was rushing us since the time we got sat, she came to the table like 3 times in five minutes to see if we were ready, my wife was in the bathroom so we were just getting comfortable, i ordered the cecina especial and it was ok. She ordered the menudo soup, the pancita wasn't cooked all the way, the broth had no flavor whatsoever and it wasn't even cleaned thoroughly, it still had the fat that you supposed to get rid off and it was really tough. After we got the food served the waitress only came once and she wasn't showing interest on us, it was like she was mad we were here. At the end she bought the bill which wasn't that bad, but the only thing that upset us is that she charged 20% on service and the service wasn't even good. Now, i don't mind tipping my waitress and i usually tip 18% to 25% being 18 the lowest based on service, what i really think it's outrageous is the fact that they would charge you service on a table of 2 without letting you know or displaying a sign or disclaimer, i been a server too and i know that after 6 people you can add the tip on the bill but for two people? I mean cmon!!. The only thing worth it was the agua fresca. Overall: Food 6/10 Service 3/10 Beverage 9/10 Ambience 4/10

I visited this restaurant for lunch. We were immediately greeted and welcomed. I believe this is a new restaurant in the Vineland area. The restaurant is very clean and brightly decorated. I ordered my favorite Steak Tacos. My food was well prepared and very tasty. I will definitely visit again. There are tables for dining in and they do offer delivery.

Chicken enchiladas with two sauces. Background pic rice and beans
    Kim M.

First time going to this Mexican restaurant and it won't be the last time. Was pleasantly surprised how good everything was. I had the chicken enchilada and asked for two sauces as you can see in my pic, and it was delicious! and my side of beans were so good and tasty. The rice was decent but not my favorite thing. I will go back again and again for my meal. My hubby had the steak burrito and it was HUGE and he really enjoyed it. When we sat they gave us tortilla chips and two homemade dipping sauces.

I look for a certain charm of the place for it to be a memorable experience. There was no music. Staff play another important part. I found them to be not friendly. All walked around like they were there because they needed a job. The lady that took our order was very rude. My daughter, whom is a special needs child, asked me about a certain item on the menu. I asked the lady who was serving us to explain to my daughter what the item on the menu was. She did a quick hand gesture towards me, vaguely describing what it was and then walked away from our table. She did not acknowledge my daughter's question. This kind of angered me because I could not answer her question. My daughter decided to order something else. The food was ok. Nothing special about it. My wife did not like it. My family has experienced excellent Mexican restaurants, so it is easy for us to compare and give an honest review. The staffs behavior really stuck with me. No smiles, no checking up on our table to see if all was ok or if we needed anything. I asked for water and I was given a small cup with water no ice. Cup was dirty on the outside. Water seemed like it came straight from the faucet. It was warm. Would I recommend this place, absolutely not! Unless what I described does not bother you, then go ahead, enjoy.

I went into this place one day out of desperation-- it has an unimpressive exterior, but it was 90 degrees and my 4 year old was whining she was thirsty while we were running errands downtown. Now I am very glad I took a chance. This place is a gem! The menu is made to order authentic mexican fast food-- cheap tacos, burritos and more. This tiny place also doubles as a mini grocery and bakery. All the baked goods are made daily by one guy. I don't know what any of the items are called, and since no one there speaks English, I just point and smile and walk out with something amazing for pennies (with a handwritten menu on posterboard). I don't need to know what it's called to know it tastes good. For example, one day I got a bag full of lightly sweetened breakfast rolls-- 6 for $1!!! They have the most beautiful birthday cakes! My favorite baked goods is this giant mexican corn & walnut muffin. At only a dollar, it's a steal compared to the prepacked nasty muffins that are sold at the convience store for the same price. Coupled with a mexican pina colada yogurt treat, I've got a great breakfast for 2 bucks

I wish i could have had more, but I was satiated with the 3 tacos. They have a lot of other meats for tacos available, so I'll have to visit again and try other things. They also do a few other choice "Mexican" dishes. They had a "Salsa"/Hot Sauce bar which was hidden away with fresh sauces (refrigerated case). I tried a bit of each one and they were tasty. They ranged from mild, all the way to "melt your face off" hot. Mind you, it's really one or two people really running the joint and they make everything fresh and to order so you may end up waiting a while. It's a really small joint. Just a bakery that also happens to have a very small convenience store (with lots of snacks and drinks) and a taco joint in the back. Therefore, it's very easy to see why people would just walk on by this place and not stop in. If you're ever in Vineland, NJ and you want "real authentic" tacos, this is the place to go.

The building itself is a festive bright Orange color. I was greeted warmly by the owner as I walked on. The dining room had about a dozen tables but I got our order to go. It had an open kitchen with a small bar section so you could eat right where they cook. It was decorated in traditional Mexican decor. Now for the food, I ordered the enchiladas , one with Verde sauce and the other with Molé. The food smelled wonderful as I opened the bag and it looked just as delicious. The tortillas were fresh and homemade and the flavor was on point. The verde sauce had a great flavor and had just enough kick to make me know there was some spice. It was covered in lettuce and cheese and specked with diced tomato. The chicken was moist and tasty. The Molé sauce was deep and rich and had excellent flavor. It came with beens and rice. The beans were light colored and not black beens and the rice was standard Mexican rice. Overall it was really good. I will be going back again. They accepted debit cards but also had an ATM in the corner. The only drawback is that they didn't have any menus to give me so I will have to search that up on the inter webs. A small inconvenience for a wonderful meal.
