Chicken quesadillas. I couldn't come close to eating it all.

Great food! Authentic Mexican choices on the menu. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. The service was friendly and accommodating. No alcohol, if that's part of your expectation you will be disappointed. Super busy carry out business. We loved it

The lighted sign saying OPEN!

Showed up at 8:15pm, and they wouldn't serve me. They close at 9pm. Call ahead I guess to make sure they are actually observing their advertised hours of operation. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Lafayette, though!

Steak tacos. On flour tortillas. Onion and Cilantro.

It was the perfect stop after the football game at Purdue. Very small, but not busy. Service was great and quick. Food was delicious.

I LOVED the restaurant that occupied that space years ago, Adelino's, but it was a totally different type of cuisine, so I didn't go into it comparing the two. The ambiance was great. I loved the way they'd revamped and utilized the space. Our server was attentive initially, but after we'd put in an order for an appetizer and told her we needed a minute to look things over, it took forever for her to come back to take our orders. We didn't see her much after that either. The food wasn't worth the price in my opinion. The queso dip was good, but I feel like you should get more than you do for $10. My boyfriend loved the cheesy birria tacos, but I was less happy with mine. The meat in my tacos was barely lukewarm when they got to the table, which was weird to me; even when I get shrimp tacos elsewhere (when the shrimp isn't fried), the shrimp is at least warm. The fish taco was better than the shrimp taco, but you can get far superior tacos for cheaper at other restaurants around town. We both ordered a Paloma and found them to be very tequila forward and not as effervescent as they should have been; we were expecting carbonation but couldn't taste any bubbles (and barely any grapefruit) at all. I enjoyed it more than he did though. Overall, we're pretty sure Nom Nom is a one and done for us, which is a shame, because we'd heard great things and went into it with high expectations. But for almost $80, the food and service we received just weren't up to par.

Still the number one place I visit when I'm in Broad Ripple. In fact, I went twice in three days!…read moreThe first was just an afternoon visit for their fantastic Coconut Caipirinha and some Brazilian cheese balls (gluten-free), along with their chips and salsa. The chips are made fresh and 4 salsas are included. The salsas range from mild to quite hot, with a kick! We sat at the bar and Walter did a 5-star job taking care of and entertaining us. He makes an outstanding Caipirinha!! The second visit was for dinner with friends. I again ordered the Coconut Caipirinha. For my entree, I tried the Arroz con Pollo and added Chorizo, as recommended by our amazing server, Summer. The dish consisted of small chunks of chicken served with Mexican rice and homemade queso. It was flavorful and filling! Fernando's will be moving from this location in late May or early June. The new place will be just a few streets further down, which will provide for additional parking spaces given the limited spaces at the current location. I look forward to visiting the new location upon my return to Broad Ripple.

I went there for drinks with a friend so I didn't get a full meal , but let me tell you the meals looked amazing. We had ceviche and queso. The ceviche was a little too fishy for my liking and took away from the whole dish and the queso was a little blah...it was "just queso cheese" no razzle dazzle. The chips were delicious as they were house made and the caipirini flight was amazing...that definitely was the star of the afternoon. Bar service was great with a decent number of regulars but the bar tender was still attentive and explained all the drinks to us. Gotta come back to try the entrees.

I finally tried Bubbakoo's Burritos in the Clearwater shopping strip, and from the moment I walked in, it delivered on its Jersey Shore roots with a relaxed coastal skater vibe--laid-back, confident, and unpretentious. The menu keeps that same energy. There are plenty of signature burrito creations that lean into bold flavor and spice, along with a build-your-own option if you'd rather blaze your own trail. What brought me in, though, was a full-on breakfast burrito craving--and the fact that theirs is available all day sealed the deal. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, and it absolutely delivered. The eggs, cheese, and sausage were perfectly melded together on the flat top, the hash browns added a well-seasoned crunch, and the fresh pico paired with their in-house salsa tied everything together beautifully. Fantastic. No exaggeration--this is easily the best breakfast burrito I've had in town. Already looking forward to coming back and working my way through the rest of the menu.
