She told us when the best time was to come in and order as well as how far in advance we needed to come in to order. Unfortunately, the representatives there have also been unfriendly and unprofessional, like they are doing you a favor. On top of the poor service, the prices in this store are outrageously high compared to other grocery stores in the area. What I do like about Jewel is it is convenient, they have a nice produce department as well as meat and fish counters. More so, being both dairy and gluten-free, they always have something there I can get, whether frozen or boxed. Often, I'll strike up conversations with employees. I've only had one tell me they truly enjoy working there. But, they do offer jobs to people who need them, and I often see differently abled people working the registers, bagging, or cleaning. I find that they hire differently abled folks refreshing and raises my rating a little.

We asked someone who works there and they said they didn't know where it was - that it could be anywhere. Regardless, I am usually able to find most of what we need. Yet every time I place an order, that delivery window is what's advertised. As usual, the driver marked the package as delivered and uploaded a photo. The problem? The photo was of a random fence. Not my home. Not my porch. A fence. And that was accepted as "proof of delivery." I'm livid. This isn't just a careless driver--this reflects Amazon's broken delivery process and poor hiring standards. Who thinks snapping a picture of a random fence counts as evidence? It's pure incompetence. To make things worse, when you try to get help, you're forced into a scripted chat system routed overseas, where the agents clearly aren't trained to actually troubleshoot real issues. After explaining that my delivery never arrived, Amazon offered me $5 as compensation. Five dollars--for items that cost more in shipping and tax alone. I spend my hard-earned money faithfully with this billion-dollar company, yet there's no real accountability, no genuine apology, and no urgency to fix repeated delays that stretch into weeks. Instead, they add insult to injury with a $5 offer, as if that somehow makes things right. So I want people to understand exactly how companies like this see you and your money. They don't value loyalty. They don't care about inconvenience. And they certainly don't care about the customer once they've already been paid.
