So you can imagine my hopes not being very high in coming to Alabama and receiving good Mexican food. After a good 20 minutes of deliberation, I looked at taco fiesta's menu and it is the most reminiscent of a San Diego taco shop. So I said let's give 'er a whirl. Imagine my utter shock and disbelief when I bit into the Carnitas burrito... flavorful, juicy, both red and green sauces packing an absolute home run with flavor and spice both. My man got the birria quesadilla and a couple of tacos. I also got the beans from my burrito on the side just in case.... Some of these states be having some weird ass beads. But no... Absolute perfection. I will be returning to this spot over and over and over again, my only ask is to put a fish taco on the menu and look into Machaca. It wasn't even a busy day. The only thing good was my bottled dos xx. My son ordered soft tacos that broke apart the moment he picked it up because the corn tortillas was cold. When I mentioned this and asked if he could get warm tortillas, they got upset and brought them almost 20 minutes later and charged me extra for them. I decided to try it again, giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were understaffed, but nope. The food was just as awful the 2nd time. It's also a bit pricey for the quality of the food. We found a way better place next to Five Below and will never go here again.
