This wasn't a cheap order and still missed part of my order

The beef soup is terrible did not have any flavor it was water down, the container where the soup was served was in a round 24 oz container. Moreover, I have order ají and it was not added but I still was charged for it. Don't recommend this place at all this was my first time trying it and my last.

I love this place so much. I stumbled across this place on Uber eats and decided to try it and I've ordered so many times after that. Lol. The food here is so tasty and fresh. Today we went to pick up our food. We ordered the bandeja paisa and a baby churrasco. Wow, always a hit. Even something as simple as white rice is soooo flavorful. The meat was good, boyfriend said the chimichurri on his churrasco was great. We also had empanadas and buñuelos and they're soooo good. Their pique is amazing. Today was the first day we picked up our food and we met the owner and they were so nice. They even threw in a pan de Bono for free in our order. I recommend this place for some amazing authentic Colombian food. It's a small place but trust me the food is amazing! We will be back soon.

Very delicious carne asada. They have soda choices from Colombia and America. They also have daily lunch specials. Everyone is very friendly and bilingual. ¡Si me gusta!

El Machetico Deli on 25th Street in Doral is a great place to go for delicious Colombian food that is ready when you are. Everything that I have had from here has been flavorful and fresh. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Was craving Colombian food when I discovered El Machetico. My boyfriend and I came by around 4 on a weekday. This hole in the wall was relatively packed with customers--some dining in and some taking food to go. We grabbed a menu at the front and skimmed over it. I knew I wanted a Bandeja Paisa $13.99 so we ordered that to share. Being extremely hungry, we made the mistake of ordering other things as well thinking that would not be enough which in fact it was. We also got a pan de bono, empanada, an extra chorizo, and the soup of the day which was lentils. OH MAN! The previous reviews were correct in that all the food here has a home style taste! The bandeja was delicious, an appropriate size, and smoky in flavor---fresh off the grill. The extra chorizo was huge and not really necessary for us to order especially since I didn't realize that the tasty beans that came with the bandeja would be served in a massive soup bowl. The lentils were on point and the arepa perfect. The only thing I did not like while here was their pan de bono and empanada but that was because they had been sitting out all day and not fresh.....understandable since they were closing soon. My boyfriends parents work in the area in which I will definitely be recommending this place for their lunch break and now only wish I worked as close!

I order the steak with white rice and red beans. The meat had plenty of flavor, and restaurant give you plenty of rice. I"ll come back to order a different meal.

There you are, my love.

Dear Sancocho, I'm not Colombian but the moment I sipped a spoonful of of you at El Machetico, I felt the paisa blood running through my veins. I initially burnt my tongue but ultimately decided that pain and sacrifice would be necessary in order to feed this addiction. The more I ate, the more I began to sweat profusely. Unwillingly and with a minor stint of depression, I backed off my plate several seconds to rest my palette. It was the longest 5 seconds of my life. During that brief moment though, something miraculous happened. I looked up at the TV inside the restaurant, and there he was, looking dead eye at the camera, James Rodriguez. I felt an immediate connection, a bond similar to a horn on a goats head, it's simply not coming off anytime soon. But I wasn't impressed, notably, he was playing a soccer match, and I, sitting there at El Machetico, with no actual machete in my hand but it would have been picturesque to have one. I put the focus back on my sancocho filled with papa, carrots, succulent meat, and corn. This plate kept me full for about 6 hours, but when hunger struck again, I thought of it. It still haunts my head, in a positive way. When I'm hangry, I think of it, and the hunger remains, but the anger dissipates. Why? Because this place is happiness. I will dream of you tonight, I love you. Daryl

Awesome place! We order an average of 20 Colombian Meat Pies every Friday for our sales floor. The hot sauce is amazing. Thank you guys!

$16.99 for this small ass plate of food?

Este machetico no tiene filo.. Service here sucks!! Sorry! I'm Colombian and this place just lacks everything. It's lunch and they have next to nothing as far as bakery is concerned. I walked in, only 2 tables with customers but I had to essentially say "hey is anyone going to take my order?" 100% would not recommend this place, move on. Oh and by the way, in my opinion over priced for what is served. Not sure about everyone else's review but my first experience here will be my last.

Great home cooked style of food, my favorite is the bistec caleño. No frills cafeteria with daily lunch specials, they serve good portions.

We went for lunch so didn't get to experience the show and party that usually happens on Friday and Saturday nights. Will definitely come back for it because it sounds like a great time! You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.

The fresh maracuya juice was amazingly delicious! Large portions here and my fish meal was great. Leftovers were more great. I suppose it's hard to season & moisten a fish that large but ultimately I was glad it wasn't too salty. Go, enjoy!
