Their sign. Didn't get a pic of the taco because I ate them too fast.

This place is a GEM! If you like pork go here!! Yep, there's some fatty pieces so if you're sensitive and have to pick at your food don't eat here. The chicharon, ON POINT! Salsa verde, lime and salt.... A MUST!!! It's great, all of it! Back to back nights of these tacos and all I can say is THANK GOD we are walking a ton! They open late because tacos are "mostly" eaten for dinner, MOSTLY. The pork tasted very clean though, not smelly and very juicy. Neon pig sign and cash only. This place does not disappoint!

This place was super high on my list of street food to try when I was in Oaxaca as I had heard nothing but positive things about it from all of the sources I reviewed before my trip. I must be the only person on earth who doesn't like it at all, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I just absolutely hated the food I got. I ordered two tacos, one with pierna and one with chicharrones, and a tostada with pierna. The food was ready relatively quickly despite a line, and to its credit it is extremely inexpensive (tacos are $17 pesos each and I believe the tostada was $40). Also, the guacamole salsa it came with was INCREDIBLE. It was a little spicy but not overwhelmingly so. I would put it on absolutely everything if I could. The meat in the tacos was so so bad. It was soooo fatty and there were little pieces of skin that had an awful texture and were extremely unpleasant to bite into. I would say that at least half of the meat was inedible. I ended up throwing away the tostada after eating the tacos because I just couldn't bear picking through the meat. Overall I was so disappointed with this place. Not sure what I'm missing tbh but I just didn't like it at all.

They don't open until sundown. Good tacos, tender pork, and spicy green sauce to add. About 20 pesos each.

The best tacos we had in Oaxaca. We arrived a little before opening at 8 pm and waited under 10 minutes to order and get our tacos. Tried both the Pierre and chicharron but just like everyone else said, the chicharron was our favorite. A little crunch and moist meat all together. The taco stand is differentiated by a pink neon lit pig sign and is easy to find by google maps. 17 pesos for ONE taco (not 8 as someone told us in line lol). Yummy! CASH only

*AMAZEBALLS* Seriously, this is one of those "YOU HAVE TO TRY IT" kinda places. Cash only, and just two options, but boy howdy, are those options *excellent*!. The chicharron, in particular, is mind-blowingly awesome, and will, literally, make you want to come back repeatedly. Whilst we were here, we saw quite a few folks finish their tacos and obediently queue up for seconds and thirds So yeah, don't miss this! (and, fwiw, they're open *late* for the post-drink tacos that one desperately needs...)

Glad I read about this place and found it on my last night in town. Probably the best street taco I've had in Oaxaca! For a city with not a lot of option other than greasy hamburgers at night these tacos will for sure hit the spot.

Simply some of the best tacos I've ever had. I would actually go back to Oaxaca for these tacos alone. Anyone coming to the city you MUST go here.

After a full day of eating and walking, still really wanted to check this place out. And very glad we did! Nice simple menu. I was already full but still got back in line multiple times to order more the tacos with chicharrones. Open late when you get hungry after a long day. Very nice people and fantastic food!

There's no argument that Lechoncito de Oro is one of the best kept secrets of the local street food scene. We liked it so much that we came here both nights while we were in Oaxaca. During both late-night visits, we barely spotted any non-locals. The tostada with chicharrón is the thing to try here: the succulent pork combined with bits of crispy chicharrón underneath a generous layer of salsa verde is out of this world. I couldn't help but ask for more picante chili sauce for an even more spicy kick. The crunchy tostada served a perfect contrast to the toppings. Hence, I slightly prefers it over the tacos. The crew loves seeing new faces and we really enjoyed interacting with them throughout the night. P. S. The hours they posted is usually accurate, except one night they opened at midnight instead of 8pm.

Very good quality street food specializing on suckling pig with pierna or chicharon served as tacos, tostadas or tortas.

This place is pretty good. They only serve one meat and they do it really well. Ultra cheap.

THE spot for cheap street tacos served well into late night/drunchie hours…read more My hotel was in the area, so I was lucky to have access to Tacomer Taqueria for normal hours during dinner. Honestly, these times were when the taq wasn't even 1/4 full. I'm talking 6-8pm. The guys working are all so friendly and efficient. They work FAST. LOTS of street taco options with protein from res to puerco, and their al pastor comes with pina which is a nice lil treat. They're great for fast, cheap, and filling tacos. Oaxaca's taco game isn't that strong in my opinion, but Tacomer blows Roy's out of the water any day. Other than that, there's little left to be desired. There's one TV that plays anime. There's zero air flow, so honestly you get a lil bit of car exhaust and smoke from the grill while you dine. No frills, and honestly I'd go there again for how economico they are and the sweet guys!

I was recommended to come and try the food here by my friends. Seeing how there aren't too many…read moretaco places here to choose from, I decided to try it and it was not that bad. They have a lot of things to choose from on the menu but the one thing that stood out to me was the few meat options. They had chorizo, pastor, chicken and chuleta and some other options but not very many. I had a sincronizada and I think it was a gringa? They were both actually pretty good, along with some Agua de Jamaica. The items I ordered came with cheese, pineapple and ham on the inside, an interesting combination. The service is also fairly quick and the workers are friendly. The only thing I would say I don't like about these places is that they're so humid when you sit inside lol. I feel like it's because of the giant grill they are using to make the food. But other than that, I liked my experience here and recommend it if you're looking for some decent tacos in Oaxaca.
