We were greeted when we walked in and service is at the cash register so this is more of a quick service style restaurant. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating despite being in a small space, and is very cheerfully decorated. We ordered some flautas, steak and pork tacos, and chips and queso. There is a topping bar for your tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and hot sauces. The chips and queso were delicious, and the flautas were also fantastic! I didn't like the refried beans as much as my husband did--they were on the thinner side and to me the taste wasn't what I wanted it to be, but the rice was good. The flavor of the steak taco was great but the cubes of meat were too big in my opinion. The real star of this show was the tacos al pastor! Super tender and delicious!!! If Yelp had a half star system, I would definitely have given a 4.5 but since they don't it feels necessary to round up to a 5, because overall this place is a winner! We will definitely be back!

The pastor burrito... mmm that pineapple adds that little something extra to it. So good. And the shrimp in the Cancun burrito were soooo good. Love the atmosphere. They put some money into redoing the decor inside and it's really nice. Cool vibe.

My wife actually went before I did, and she said it was okay. So one night, we decided to go and try it out together. We walked in and were quickly greeted by the hostess. I looked around and had a hard time recognizing the layout as they had really made it different than the barbecue place before it. The decor is beautiful, and I felt as if I was in a Mexican Cantina in Mexico City! She asked if we wanted a booth or a table, and we chose a booth. While it wasn't packed, it was fairly busy, which was a great sign. We sat and were given menus, which were quickly followed by Chips & Salsa. She asked what we wanted to drink, and I ordered a Michelada. The Chips and Salsa were good, not the best I have ever had, but tasty. We ordered queso dip and a main course, and my Michelada arrived- the best I have ever had in Apopka, and rivaled any that I have had anywhere- great start! The queso was good, typical. I had steak tacos, and my wife had a burrito. We also had a side of tamales. Everything was fresh and tasty, and we were both very impressed! The staff were friendly and genuinely happy to see us; I felt like a long-time customer. We have been back several times and have enjoyed each visit. We will definitely keep coming back!

The atmosphere was perfect for Cinco de Mayo: lively, busy, and the kind of place where you accidentally stay two hours longer than planned. Our server was super kind even with the holiday chaos going on. Bonus points for the mysterious painted chair lady who somehow looked exactly like Charlie Kirk. I still can't explain it, but it added to the experience.

It's very family-friendly, and I'm always comfortable bringing my very active toddler here. Service is quick and we've never experienced a wait, though we tend to go on weekend afternoons. They give you free chips & salsa as soon as you're seated. The margaritas are big & strong. I usually opt for the El Jefe and even the medium size is plenty for me. My husband gets the mango agua fresca. Just know that if you order size large of anything, it's basically the size of a pitcher, haha. For food, we always share the mixed molcajete which is a giant sizzling stone bowl full of chicken, steak, shrimp, pork, with grilled peppers, tomatoes, onions, and queso fresco. It's also served with rice, beans, guac, lettuce, and tortillas on the side. Ask for their homemade hot sauces if you like more spice (yes, they are HOT). It's plenty of food to share with lots of leftovers to take home. Well worth the $35 since we get multiple meals out of it. We usually get my son a quesadilla, but he's starting to try more of the foods we eat. He loved the chicken! Fiesta Cancún is a vibe -- highly recommend.
