Good food and service. We ordered few small plates and each one of them was delicious.

Was in Willoughby and in need of coffee and so when I saw this place, I ha high hopes…read more Unfortunately, the slownes of the service, and the lack of focus on the coffee didn't really meet my expectations. That said, while paying I overheard the kitchen saying they were getting slammed, and so it could be that either someone didn't show for work, or some other reason kept this rustic cafe from being at it's best, but either way, I am unlikely to go back. One the positive side, the atmosphere in this cafe is great. While some of the chairs appear a bit rickety, they add to the rustic feel inside. The range of food also looked quite nice (though we stuck to the coffees). So.. as for the coffee, from my seat I was able to watch them being made and my expectations dropped with each minute. For me, seeing a dbl mac sitting on the bench burning as 2 babychinos are made is just sad. When it arrived it was bitter and burnt... surprised I was not. My wife also ordered a Turkish coffee which seemed very little like the thick syrupy deliciousness I have had on previous occasions. All in all, I was disappointed with my experience here, but I am pretty sure that this was a once off. At least... I hope so... If our breaky experience here is anything to go by, we would return to try their other offerings either @lunch or dinner. As ones who are unfamiliar with turkish armenian food, we approached this with an open mind. Turned out that it was hardly needed. You know it when you stumble on something good. Must try! Vegetarian breaky 4/5 consisted of grilled mushrooms, tossed spinach, onion, poached eggs, on feta pancake with eggplant dip. Each element was cooked without fault, ermmm the feta pancake 'might' hv been prepared beforehand (not sure), the eggplant dip was a nice surprise, smoky creamy, goes well with the pancake. A nice touch which i realized closer to finishing off the plate was that the pancake has been cut into nice little squares. All the better to soak up the egg yolks. Warm yoghurt with poached eggs garlic n mint named aptly dish from raffi's mom kitchen was enjoyable. A simple well executed dish that any loving mom would cook. 3.75/5 Best order their hot fresh mint tea (see pic on my dineline) to accompany your breaky. Give them a go peeps.

I was in town on business and this place was near my company's office. We went to lunch here twice…read moreover the week. The service was bit slow but we always had at least 8-10 people so that takes time. For appetizers, we tried these two pizzas. I had the first one and it was really good. Like a bruschetta but on a pizza crust. Good tomato flavor. BRUSCHETTA PIZZA fresh tomato slices, basil, feta, olives, onion, garlic, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (Medium only) CHILLI PIZZA tomato sauce, chilli, olive oil and mozzarella For entrees, one day I had a salad with prosciutto and barata cheese. It came with some toast points which were nice and crispy. The meat and cheese were tasty. Had a nice balsamic dressing on it. The 2nd day, I had the RISOTTO (of the day). That day it was a sausage risotto with green olives. It was very tasty. Creamy but not heavy. Tender rice. Overall this was nice place for lunch. There is a not a lot near my office so this is a good pick.

I'm going to be honest. This is a very satisfying restaurant but not a place I would purposely go…read moreto. Loads of seats and a decent variety of menu options. Food tastes alright, good service and the waiting times aren't too long. Still... I can't rate it a 4. If it wasn't because it is the restaurant linked to the hotel I'm staying at I can't see myself going: 'Oh! Let's go to Fuorno!' Not only it's near nothing in particular, but it's not easy to get to without a car. Not worth the effort. That said, I would give it a 3.5 if I could because it's good for takeaway. Portions are big and it saved me a few nights when getting back to the hotel after working late.
