The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery, the ham and cheese were flavorful, and the gherkin added the perfect tangy crunch. The Bloody Mary was well-balanced and refreshing but I wish it had celery. The atmosphere was charming, relaxed, and exactly what you'd hope for in Ojai. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot!

If you're new, then repeat back an order to make sure you heard everything correctly. Also, why can't pastries be heated? So strange. We each ordered the congee and while the chili oil offers a nice bite, there is no flavor beyond chili oil. The chai oat milk latte was nice but that's the only thing. It's a super cute spot, has fresh flowers everywhere, a pool table, and a nice front and back bar.

I was greeted when I walked. Ordering and my drink preparation was also quick. I ordered a hot dirty chai and it was perfect in chai flavor. Why am I giving them 4 stars?! Well, as I went to pick up my coffee from my cup holder the gentle squeeze of my hand to grasp the cup had the lid pop off and spill at least 1/3 out all over my car. I was so frustrated and upset. At $6.50 for a medium coffee, I lost about $2 worth all over my car. My entire drive home, I would have to recap (push down) on the lid each time because the lid continued to pop up every time I picked it up. I sure hope CC reads this and does something about their cup lids. They just aren't a good fit.
