Truly great food. Margueritas galore. I had a prickly pear marguerita that is now my favorite. I had a combo plate with a tamal and relleno - some of the best I have tasted. Jalisco was excellent. Unfortunately we don't come to this restaurant much and this may be our last visit. The food was average but the portions seem to get smaller every time we eat there and don't ask for anything other than the house margarita. Even though they have a decent drink menu, our last two visits they told us they didn't have any of the top shelf margaritas offered on the menu even though you can see multiple tequila options on the bar. We ordered a cheese dip but didn't get it, and didn't see our server for drink refills. I hope they get back on track because it used to be so much better. read more

Very open and clean. Courteous service. Quick. I always judge Mexican restaurants on their chips and salsa! A++!! I ordered taco combo 1 hard 1 soft! Really tasty! Husband ordered the California burrito with steak he said it was really good just on the small side. Paying was really nice being able to scan the QR code and not hand over our card. Will definitely recommend. We live closer to New Baden so will check out that location in the near future. read more

This is mine and my boyfriends most favorite Mexican spot! We've been going here for two years and the food has always been top tier with a super fast turnaround after ordering. All servers we have encountered have been nothing but sweet and check on us often. I particularly love the music they play which makes the experience so much more fun. We are fast eaters so we are in and out in about thirty minutes, but we never feel rushed. Overall great food, great people, and a great restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem read more

I would note my rating for Indio is very dependent upon the location. For Staunton this place is amazing; compared to more populated locales it is average. I have eaten here twice and had the same dish both times; street tacos and Mexican rice. The rice is decent but little dry and not a very large portion. The chorizo and chicken street tacos are good but I have had much better. Both of the meats were a bit over cooked and dry but the flavor was good. The chips and salsa, a Mexican standard, were delicious. If you are popping off I-55 to grab a bite you will not be disappointed and service was great both times. If you are a true foodie looking for culinary delights they will fall a bit short. Also, margaritas are very good and wide variety of flavors! read more

We'd been traveling all day and stopped to spend the night at a local hotel. Not feeling like cleaning up, we opted for take-out. We're pretty firm in our belief that we have the BEST Mexican Food restaurants in the town where we live and compare any elsewhere to those. This one measured up. This was a solid choice for good food, friendly service, and value. Very clean inside, which was great to see, especially during these times. Our server was very friendly and our food was served in short order. I had three tacos and the meat tasted like it could have used a bit more seasoning. The low reviews for this place make absolutely no sense. The food was so reasonably priced that a little blandness in the meat is totally forgiveable; use the hot sauce, that's why it's there. My wife and I had two meals, and a jumbo margarita and the bill barely broke 20 bucks. If you're in the area, and looking for good food at a reasonable price, stop here. read more
