Now for the not so good, the dining area is not where you want to hang out. I totally understand why there are so many to go orders. ALL of the booth seats are ripped, there's way too much clutter at the entry, no one needs a gum machine, or random sports gear unless you are a sports bar or catering to kids. I would move 'every' item out, paint the entire room so it's clean, but doesn't smell of floor disinfectant, do a deep clean on the sticky tables and menus, and other table items. Then I would only move the necessary items back into the room. Ahhh a place we all want to dine. Also, while we were there a broom and dustpan were left leaning against one of the tables for an extended period of time. This is just a lack of training. Attention to detail is the key to success. This would be a five star place if it felt more inviting instead of like my spare bedroom where everything goes that I'm not quite ready to part with yet. The team clearly takes pride in the guest experience. That said, we were really looking forward to having a margarita, which made it surprising (and a bit disappointing) that no liquor was being served during our visit. There wasn't any explanation offered, which added to the confusion. It felt a little ironic given the name. Overall, it didn't ruin the experience, but it definitely stood out. We'd be open to going back and giving it another try--hopefully with margaritas on the table next time.

My go-to is the Chipotle Fajitas without tortillas, rice, or beans. They come out sizzling hot and loaded with flavor. I'll sometimes add a drizzle of their cheese sauce on top, and it's perfection. They recently updated the tabletops and the whole restaurant has a beautiful, authentic Mexican feel. The dining room is massive, making it ideal for large groups. I've seen them easily combine tables for parties of 15-20 people. They usually have upbeat Latin music playing, and on Friday and Saturday nights, there's live music. I'd be thrilled if they ever brought in a mariachi band! Best of all, they're open every day and stay open late. If you're craving great Mexican food, Tequila's is the place to go.

We flagged down another server to get our server because we ordered corn tortillas but received flour and our rice was cold. She finally makes to our table and replaced the flour tortillas with corn. The rice was just as cold (I'm assuming it was the same setup). The food was good but not worth all the hassle of dealing with her incompetence. I wish I could give you her name but she never introduced herself. They have a pager at the table but it doesn't seem to work (we pressed it 7 times) trying to get our bill! Maybe we should've thrown it at her? Once the bill arrives she of course charged us full price for my wife's Margarita. When we asked her about it, she was unapologetic and said just take it up front and they can fix it for you.
