Horrible! Waited 2 hours for food and it came out cold. Brother ordered a hamburger and the guy said it didn't come with fries when it clearly said on the menu it came with fries. Came back with the smaller side of fries you have ever seen. We tried ordering soda twice and still never got them. He never came to see how we were, never updated us. While the food we ordered was okay, the hour wait was not. We ordered the fish broth, octopus cocktail, and a couple of fried plantain sides. The "arañitas", a fried appetizer which consists in balls of grated plantain, was actually really good, but it's not enough for the overall experience. There were only two staff members serving and handling the billing. One thing I will say, is the person handling the billing and the cash was constantly sanitizing his hands, so I commend him for that. Billing was manual and only cash was accepted. The restaurant also has an ocean view, which I'm sharing as part of my review, but I don't see myself returning any time soon. read more

The only thing worth it about this place is the view. The service was terrible as they were badly understaffed. Only two waiters for a crowd full of people and I am sure, only one cook. We got there and there were several groups that came in AFTER us, because they were seated closer to the Bar where the waiters were also working as bartenders, they got attended first. Then you would think that if you have a full house, the behavior of any waitress trying to keep up would be to take the orders quickly and move on to the next client, this wasn't the case. The female waitress that was there, was talking to a group of people damn near 20 minutes to half an hour, giving them a whole tour guide of the island. Are you kidding me? You have other customers and you waste your time telling these tourists about the island? I would understand if it was a slow night but not when you have a full house. This waitress, nor the other came up to us to give us menus, I literally had to walk over to the bar and get them myself. Terrible start. When the male waitress finally came up to us and took our order, we ended up ordering some piña coladas and some sodas. It took them another 20 minutes to even hand us that. We ordered 2 whole fried fish with tostones, and about 6 turnovers with an order of fries. This took FOREVER to get here. The waiter came with the turnovers, that were all wrong except 1. So he had to take them back. Another 15 minutes wasted. He came back and eventually brought the right turn overs but only 4, instead of the 5 he owed us. The main plates finally came and the fishes were over fried, dry and frankly sucked. The tostones weren't that bad and the turnovers were meh okay. Our waiter was no where to really be seen, as he came back and forth to the other tables and disappeared. We ended up literally getting soda from our own car, because we were going to go through the whole meal with no drinks until probably past the end, when they would have brought us some more requested sodas. After everything, came the bill. What damn thieves. A whole red snapper was $25 dollars a pound and they charged me for 2 fishes, $75, are you kidding me? That didn't include not even the side dish which I had to pay extra. Your telling me, you charge me this overpriced fish at about $37 each and it doesn't come with a side??? Freaking horrible. I reviewed my bill and of course the waiter made a mistake and overcharged me for the turnovers. The girl corrected the mistake because I told her and I did the math myself. All in all the bill was $120 for 2 fried fish, 2 sides and 5 turnovers, because the waiter never even gave us our 6th turn over. A complete waste of money. The owner should either hire more help as they clearly need it or just let at least the female waitress go. At least the male one was not making conversation and was struggling to keep up, but the female waitress was taking her sweet time with the clients, when she clearly had other clients to serve. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place. The service sucked, the food sucked and it is over priced. Avoid it at all costs. You will waste an entire day just to eat something that isn't even worth the wait. read more

What can I say, beautiful view but mediocre food quality and service! I was really excited to try this popular long standing eatery. The white cat that looked like a stray cat was walking around our table looking for scraps. The service was horrible food tasted old, and slimy no flavor whatsoever. After eating a little bit of it my stomach did a flip flop and now I feel nauseous. The owners kids were running around making a big fuss and were watching annoying YouTube videos in the middle of service. The owners and employees did not say anything to them as they ran around while we tried to eat. Management was horrible rude and had a disgusting attitude.
