I was having problems with my van stereo. It was affecting my van gauges. Previous installation wasn't done properly. Gaspar said he needed to install a new harness. I didn't think this was a complicated job. Remove stereo from dash and replace harness. Reinstall stereo. I should have asked for an estimate before he started. That's on me. $518 for a harness and installation. I asked him how much the harness cost. I think he said around $260. The most expensive one I see on line is $70. I asked him how much he charges per hour. He said he doesn't charge by the hour. Just by the job. He had the van for less than 3 hours. Make sure you do your due diligence before you have Gaspar work on your stereo. I wish I would have just gone to Car Toys. read more

Called at 1:30, dropped off at 3:30 and picked up at 5:00. Super quick backup camera install. Really appreciate the great service. Only flaw was they forgot to get the the luggage screen and rear floor mat back in the car before we left. Would not hesitate to use them again. read more

I brought in a dashcam system that I bought online, and had El Garage install it in my Malibu. They did a great job! Quick, friendly, fair price. I never would have been able to figure out how to hide all that wiring, but El Garage made it look almost factory. I was so happy with their work, I had them do the same to our Fit. I was quite impressed with the wiring to the camera on the hatchback door! read more

I had more money than time, and wanted to finish my car stereo project. It's in. It works. I'm super happy.

Quick, quality service. Wide selection of systems. Component prices are quite a bit higher than what the stuff goes for online, of course. But are inline with other local retailers. read more

Gaspar is amazing! He was super patient and understanding. I didn't have a ton of money to throw around and he came up with a great solution for my Kia Seltos. It's more than I could have hoped for. He also quickly and permanently solved a vexing "auto stop" problem I was having with my sound system. I couldn't be more satisfied!! read more

The display unit in my 2009 Prius stopped working. I was advised by the dealer the cost to replace it could be as much as $2400. I did research and found an identical system on Ebay (cost under $300). I made the purchase and brought it to El Garage. The unit was installed for a cost of $200 in approximately 30 minutes. It is working perfectly. They are amazing and we highly recommend. read more

When I bought my vehicle I upgraded the alarm system, problem was the horn didn't go off with the siren, which made for some weak sauce sound. So I asked the dealer to connect the horn too. He did, but since that time the horn has been shorting out and burning out fuses ever since. So it works for a week or so until pop, it just stops working. I've taken it to several places to no avail. Well this guy said "the horn is negative and the siren is positive, so there's your short. That without even looking at it. he knows his stuff. Also, the door lock needed a new motor. He replaced that (had the part on hand so I didn't have to wait for it to get ordered BONUS!) too. He has stereos, car alarms, cameras for your car, everything. So for my b-day I'm getting a dash cam installed. Always wanted one. Only took him an hour and a half. Sweet! So glad I found this shop! This is my new electronics guy. I highly read more

I came here after reading the Yelp reviews and saw how much better the pricing and service is here compared to Car Toys. I came in and was helped immediately. He showed me the speakers I needed for my car and quoted me $140 for the installation of 4 speakers (far better than Car Toys). He finished in an hour and the speakers sounded great. I drove away, but started to notice a peculiar buzzing and rattling from one of the door speakers, and I brought it back to him. He listened and heard it too, and he immediately took the car back and fixed the buzzing and rattling in under 30 minutes. I was extremely satisfied with how professional and prompt his service was. I absolutely recommend getting your car speakers from El Garage, and I think you'll find that the service and professionalism here is way beyond what you would find at a Car Toys. read more

Had an appointment for 10am. Confirmed the appointment by phone the day before. They are supposed to open at 10 but nobody showed up. I waited for 40 minutes, called and texted multiple times with no answer or reply. At a minimum someone should have called me to let me know they weren't coming in. Total waste of time. read more

I created a Yelp account just to give this place a good review. I went to BestBuy to get my amp/subs installed and they said it'd be 3 months until I could get an appointment. I came to El Garage and Gasper got me in the same day with a relatively similar price point for the install ($189 vs. BestBuy's $119). Install was done very professionally (clean wire cuts, nothing showing) and in about an hour (BestBuy said it'd take 2). I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a professionally-done, relatively-cheap install from a guy who knows his stuff. read more

I am a relationship guy and went to the shop to meet Gaspar (sp?) I had a good conversation about what he does and what I was considering for a stereo upgrade. He gave me great advice, even if that meant purchasing products he did not sell. I took his advice and purchased the components I needed and brought them to him to review knowing the last few components he stocked in his shop. He quoted a price for installation and to my surprise he offered to install everything that day. I know it took him longer than he budgeted and impressed he was dedicated to do his very best job. Love meeting people like this who are passionate about what they do. read more

Gasper was great! I previously went to car pros and was quoted $3200 to install bass into my car. I drove by el garage because of all the great reviews. Gasper did not disappoint!!! His store is super clean and his work is amazing for a fraction of the car pros quote!!!! Great customer service and he works quick! Excellent business! I will definitely recommend him to others and will be back with more business!!! Thanks Gasper!!! read more

I would highly recommend this place for anyone's stereo work... Gasper, was wonderful... Being a nurse, and a girl... I have no clue what I was looking for... Gasper could have sold me a bridge... But instead, he looked at my truck to see what I had, explained to me the things that were possibly needed.. and we looked at stereos in his store.. He recommended a less expensive radio, and I've never heard of that brand, so Gasper suggested that I could purchase the stereo I want and he would install it for a small fee... I really didn't want that... and then we settle on a Sony... I left for the time being and was shorty called and said my truck was done.. I'm totally impressed... The stereo looked great, sound better than when I first brought it 10 years ago and Gasper asked if I would like him to go over the system, "No"... (I learn by doing) and he suggested if I had any questions... Please come back and he will show me or fix whats wrong.... Again... Thank you so very much Gasper... Great place and person.... Been here twice to get third-party backup cameras installed in my family's vehicles. Gaspar does a great job at a very reasonable price, in an incredibly reasonable amount of time. I recommend El Garage wholeheartedly. read more

If I could give 6 stars I would. I went in based on reviews, met Gaspar and told him to install an amp and subs that I brought in. He gave me a quote and I also asked for mids and tweets up front which he recommended and I went with it. After installation the next day I drove off and blew my subs(my fault) not even 10 minutes later. Came back in the next day he immediately recommended subs based on how I like to listen to my music(loud and clear, deep bass with crispy mids and tweets). Whatever he did after he replaced the subs he tuned everything to my liking and I am in love with my sound system. It's everything I always wanted and Gaspar hit it spot on. Go to Gaspar, support your local small family owned business. He will sit in the seat next to you. Listen to your music how you will and he adjust and cater to your taste. I will be bringing my other car here as well and he will also build my custom box. Gaspar is the muthaF#ckin man! He even wired in a remote bass knob free of charge. read more

Wow. Just wow. Brought my son for a new stereo receiver and installation along with a reinstallation of an existing subwoofer. My son had done his research on the receiver and they confirmed it would fit. The price was excellent for both the receiver and installation. They installed everything the same night in around an hour. It's perfect. These people take serious pride in their work and were excited to see the big smile on my son's face when they cranked up the sound. We would come back here in a heart beat. read more

Perhaps a little out of the way for some people but Gaspar runs his own business, does the installation himself, and keeps the prices as low or lower than the big outfits and you get his personal service. read more

El Garage was so helpful! They installed all 4 of my speakers in my car and for a great price too! I will be back!

Went there yesterday to have them look at my Dension Gateway for my Audi's older radio to be able to connect my phone via USB/bluetooth, etc... Just purchased that device but don't really have time to install it myself, it probably would have token me a whole Saturday afternoon. These guys installed it in 30 Minutes, everything is working perfect, I have no complaints. Price was fair, though not cheap. But yeah, no complaints, happy that thing is in there. Thank you for quick and great service. read more

These guys were great. Fixed my front fog light and installed a new radio with bluetooth to my Avalanche. Quick and clean.

I've had El Garage do 2 installs so far, and both were done quick, great work, and a great price. I definitely would recommend them.

I had a stereo installed the day after Christmas. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Gaspar the owner explained the process and got down to work. I am always happy to support a family establishment such as this. Highly recommend it! read more

I bought a backup camera and CarPlay receiver for an older CRV. The extended price was reasonable and the installation done on time. A few days later, the backup camera failed. The owner, who was always pleasant and professional, replaced the backup camera. A few days later, the problem recurred and again the owner made it right. The backup camera itself proved to be defective. The owner's professional approach to the repeated problems was fantastic and much appreciated. I highly recommend this business. read more

Stopped here to have new power ran and an additional amp installed. They quoted me a price higher than I wanted to pay so the owner or person working basically told me to do it myself and sold me the parts. Lucky for me I know how to install car audio. While I was there I was checking out prices and whatnot and they were fair. The customer service is great, too bad I am too cheap to have it professionally installed. When I need to upgrade my sub or cabin speakers this will be the first place I go. read more

I stopped by El Garage Car Stereo to ask them a quick question about wiring up a 2 channel amplifier. Not only did they take the time to speak with me, the owner came out and helped me troubleshoot why no signal was getting to the front speakers from the amp.
