The Mexican food is honestly the BEST in Poughkeepsie -- fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. I live in Miami Beach, and there's only one good Mexican spot near me, so finding this place was such a treat. The quality and authenticity here are on another level. The inside is really cute, warm, and inviting, and the patio is lovely when the weather is nice. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, everything is consistently amazing. Inside, i'm listening to Mexican music and watching Mexican futbol on TV, and eating this MASSIVE fried tilapia with ric and veggies (delicious) and it started raining outside like a monsoon! It truly smelled, sounded and tasted like Mexico. The staff was very kind and asked after me several times. My Jarrito drink really rounded it out.
