They have everything here from tortas, carne asada tacos, and tex mex. We tried: Horchata - good! Lots of spices, like a chai tea. Choriqueso - good flavor, tons of chorizo & pickled jalapenos. Only wish it were thicker. Chimichanga supreme - 4 chimichanga of different meats including shrimp, ground beef, steak and chicken. Chicken was my favorite but they were all good. The shrimp was strange as a chimichanga because it's whole shrimp so you kinda end up eating the tortilla separate because they come out so easily. Burrito ranchero - there was a ton in here. It was enough for 2 on its own! There's rice, steak, onions, peppers and beans. So filling but it was good! Good choice if you're in town We ended up having lunch the next day as the portions are huge here. Plus we had a large dos Equis & large horchata so ended up being a ton of food. There's plenty of parking in their lot and the staff were all great. You pay at the register when you're done but our server checked on us regularly the entire time.

Yelp reviews and the locals say this is the best place in town to eat. The unfortunate thing is it…read moreis probably true. It is a really small place but there are a lot of tables, they stack them in and squeeze between them to get to you. They put me in a booth that was not blocked so it didn't really bother me. I had a combo plate with a taco, chili relleno, enchilada, tamale and a chalupa. I find chalupas really awkward to eat so I asked if I could swap it for another taco and they did let me. Some of my food came right away, one taco and the enchilada. I have seen this before at mexican restaurants but I really don't like it. I prefer all my food at once. The taco and enchilada were nothing to write home about but not bad. when they were gone the rest of my meal came. The Chile Relleno was very good, a huge poblano overflowing with cheese. The tamale was covered and filled with shredded chicken. I was expecting ground beef so this was a good suprise. I could not finish all the food and If they brought all my food at once I would have finished the poblano and tamale and left a taco. I eat a lot of Mexican food, this was not super high on my list but it was a decent meal for a reasonable price. The compact feeling when you walk in might be the worst part.

They didn't get the meal right. Didn't get plates with the fajitas, didn't get a refill on the salsa. The lady that did try to help, then made it worse by trying to say I was the problem. She brought the food, gave me the one plate, and no plate for the woman that was with me. No awareness, no concern. I had to go ask for the plate. A complete failure all the way around. Then the owner asked me about the plate, then tried to make me the problem, made excuses there was another table. No accountabilty, no apology, just some gaslighting bullshit. I worked in the service industry for 10 years, I know what it's like to do the job. I usually overtip, I usually give grace if things don't go right because I know the job. They completely screwed it up, couldn't say they're sorry, then tried to dump it on me, adding insult to injury. Pathetic. I never write reviews, even bad ones, but this. I had to say something.
