The best Mexican food in the Creedmoor area! We've always experienced great customer service. Restaurant is very clean and well kept. My only complaint would be that there was a $$ Bar Charge added to our ticket, we thought it was odd since we didn't order any alcoholic beverages. This is a very good Mexican restaurant! We go here often enough that they know my husband and when they see him they say you want the usual (carnitas plate). I love their salsa, it's always fresh and delicious! They have amazing fajitas! My children always get the steak fajita quesadillas! They are so good to be something so simple! I don't know what has happened, but the service here is horrible now. We've eaten here a hand full of times and while they have been slow, nothing this bad has ever happened. Fifteen minutes went by before we had to stop someone and ask for drinks and a waiter. When he finally brought our drinks, they weren't the drinks we'd ordered. The waiter took our order five minutes later then came back ten minutes later to tell us that he was sorry and wanted to take our order... Again!?! We told him he had already taken our order and that's when we decided to leave. While we sat and watched everyone else get their drinks and orders taken, we observed several employees walking around with trays of food approaching several different tables and asking if the food they had was theirs. It seemed like no one knew what to do. Besides that, they were holding the food near random people, then taking the same food to other tables. Not sanitary in our opinion. This is the best Mexican food restaurant around! There are so many items on the menu that are good, I can't even list them all, but anything with shrimp is awesome! My husband gets the Combo dinner and LOVES it. We have not had anything on the menu that wasn't excellent. We have suffered through mediocre Mexican in Creedmoor for so long, it is great to finally have a restaurant that has GREAT food, excellent service and is located so close! This place is great and is a fantastic value for the money. We have been here about 20 times and always get good service and enjoy the food.

El Corral started off very strong and then had lost their mojo about 2 years ago. They have definitely gotten their groove back though. The prices have climbed some in the last several years but the food is excellent and service is the best in the entire RDU area. Staff is very attentive and the food comes out of the kitchen fast. They also currently carry a 99.5 health rating. read more

Have visited many times and had good experiences until this last time and wanted to warn others. The staff did not charge the prices listed on the menu for my meal. I was with one other person and we split fajitas - which were listed as $20.99 on the menu. When we received our bill we were charged $28.00. When asked about the difference the waitress said there is apparently only one fajita for $20.99 - however the menu states that price for a variety of them, including the ones we ordered. I was very disappointed. She was nasty about the whole thing and I will not be back. read more

El Corral has excellent cuisine, very attentive wait staff and speedy service. Margaritas come out fast and large and the sweet tea is up there with the best. Potions are large and the menu is comprehensive. Have not been disappointed after more than 6 visits, trying something different every time. Never had to wait long for a table. In my opinion El Corral is one of the best restaurants ever! First off you can pre order on the phone and pickup.Second you can have whatever you want and as much as you want. Everything on the menu is delicious. Third, the bathrooms are clean and smell good. Fourth, when you walk in it smells good. Also when you walk in the servers greet you and ask if you want a drink. Excellent authentic Mexican food! Carne Asada Tacos are great and the house special salsa, smokey in flavor, was a real treat. Not many dining the night we were there (a Monday with 1/2 price Mexican beer!) so hope they make it. Dining options in that area of NC are slim. read more

I called the restaurant on 11/18/17 to make a to order. The lady answered the phone by saying, yes. So I say excuse me, she then again says yes. So I say, is that how you answer the phone at a business? So then she says, yes, what do you want? I say nothing, and I hang up. So I decided to call right back and ask for the manager. When the manager gets on the phone, I tell him about what just happened, and he says can I tell you something. He says that we don't understand how hard it is when English is not your first language, and the lady may not have understood what I was saying. I tell him that was an excuse because if you know enough English to say, yes, what do you want, you know enough to say thank you for calling and how can I help you. Oh, but it gets better! He then asks me do I speak another language and I say no. He says you should learn because you people have no idea how hard it is to learn to speak English as a second language, NO APOLOGY, he just tells me that I should try and learn another language . When I politely educate him to the values of good customer service and advise him that kindness is universal and if the employee's English is not good, then why is she answering the phone? He asks me if I'm going to order something, I say after this rude service, NO. He says thank you for calling, AGAIN, NO APOLOGY. So to the manager working as this place who answered the phone 6:11 pm, listen up; I DON'T HAVE TO LEARN TO SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE TO ORDER FOOD FROM YOUR RESTAURANT IN MY ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY, AND YES, I'M YELLING ! If you don't understand the concept of good customer service, then get out of the game. Instead of saying you apologize for the poor way I was treated, you co-sign with someone who was clearly wrong. And I want you to know something else; I will be posting this horrible incident everywhere I can. We the consumer must stand up to such terrible service. And we people can take our business elsewhere, and that is what I will do. I work hard for my money, and I will not continue to spend it at such an unappreciative business such as this one. read more
