Loved it. Best Mexican food for soooo many towns around including big cities! The only bad for me was preservatives in the corn tortillas, which is pretty standard for all Mexican food, especially in the Northeast. But they tasted good! It's fresh, great prices for the area, and sooo delicious!!! I had the shrimp tacos which came with fresh guacamole, and mango salsa. Do not order anything you expect to be good. Avocados are never ripe.. the ceviche is a joke, for large shrimp already cooked in tomato sauce with apple juice. They call sandwiches tortas and it's like chewing on gristle. The bread is stale, possibly 3 to 4 days old on average. The seasoning is not bad. The hot sauce is atrocious. If they have it which they rarely do but it is hot. I've eaten there at least 20 times in the last two years because it's nearby. I regret it every time. Just thought you should know. I hope they close and a better place open soon. read more

Nice surprise find on Bridge Street in Milford New Jersey. We had a very favorable first experience. Thomas our server was very cordial, took us right to an available window table, cleaned amd prepared as we waited. Brought menus amd cold water. We started off with an order of the empanada de Carne which was OK, I'm not a pot roast lover and it's that kind of meat but regardless it certainly was a nice presentation and had a nice flavor. We really hit it out of the ballpark we ordered the street tacos one order was the Camerona's tacos and the other order was the Al Pastore tacos and both of them are really robust it flavor, freshness, and a very nice plate presentation as you'll see in our pics. Again a great find in a small sleepy town, definitely worth a return trip. read more

Meat was tender, plenty of freshness in the cilantro and onions, an abundance of birria just to dunk in, phenomenal. We also ordered to share the Milanesa de pollo Torta which is essentially a chicken cutlet sandwich on steroids. The flavor profile on this bohemoth: lettuce, tomato, onions, tomato, avocado, hard boiled egg, pickled jalapeños, black bean paste and a salsa for kicks. We ended up here by accident.. Or maybe fate. This isn't our normal area, but what a lucky find! We love Mexican so when we saw the storefront we made a u- turn. There are nice choices on the menu. We ordered the Caliente guacamole and it was made at our table side. So good. It has nice kick without being gimmicky. My man got a burrito with chorizo as the protein and I ordered the shrimp quesadilla. They were both so tasty and good-sized portions. There was a lot of shrimp and chorizo - they definitely did not slack. We added the guac to our meals and made them even better. I'm not going to say it was the best ever. The food is really good. The fact that this place is still there even though it's in Milford's "black hole anti-business" spot speaks loud enough, proving that what they're doing they're doing damn right. I first experienced their food with a reheated takeout chicken burrito I brought home from a friend's event. It was so good, a group of us decided to make the 40 min drive to the restaurant to try their food fresh on the spot, and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We had all the salsas! Habanero salsa (spicy!) was a group favorite, and I highly recommend the verde guacamole salsa! The overall theme for the food is FRESH! My favorites are the shrimp tacos, chicken burritos, rice, wings, and guacamole. Please do not leave without ordering the churros!!! I'm not even a churro person, and these were absolutely amazing!! Eat the churros right away, because I tried heating some up in my toaster oven and they weren't the same. We have been back for a second time since. Shrimp tacos are actually reheatable too! Just a side note...I love their design on the menu, the colors at the store front, and the logo. I'm a sucker for nice presentation. Speaking of which, check out the flan!! I was disappointed to try this new milford place twice and both bad experiences. I have to concur with some prior reviews that the food here lacks flavor and side condiments are simply not provided. If you like dry/tough chicken/beef tacos, burritos etc with no flavoring you may be happy here. Better options exist local - and I'll even drive 20+ minutes to secure quality Mexican food. I do agree colors inside this place are very loud cheap and strange. True Mexican places do much warmer south Western schemes. But the cactus are a nice touch read more

Beware that they don't allow take out for items from the kid's menu, reason given was that they were not in the system? that didn't make sense to me, so I pointed out that the ingredients used for the kid's orders were also use in ALL of their orders ( Flour tortillas, cheese, rice, beans) Also didn't make sense that you could order take out from the regular menu but not the kids? He them told me that the owner felt that full grown adults were ordering from the kids menu, which is cheaper that similar items from the regular menu, therefore he was losing money. I explained that I had a child who eat small portions, and a full size burrito was too big, he suggested that I could reheat the leftovers, to which I replied I t wouldn't taste the same as beans tend to dry out, he continued to to tell me how expensive was to fire up the grill( yes he said that) and that the owner was losing money, on take out from the kids menu, I pointed out that I was getting a full size of meat tacos, as well as other items, fast forward when I get home, and the burrito was flavorless, and HUGE!!
