For our entrées, I ordered the Bistec a la Mexicana while my wife had the Carnitas Burrito. We had bottled iced tea with our meals, although the restaurant is BYOB. The restaurant has a casual, traditional Mexican atmosphere with bright orange walls, colorful decorations, and Mexican-themed artwork. We were seated immediately upon arriving, with only one other table occupied. It remained fairly quiet throughout our visit, with just one other table occupied when we left, although it was a different group of customers. The staff were friendly, and our entrées arrived approximately 15 minutes after ordering, which we thought was reasonable. My only minor complaint about the service was that we had to track down our waitress when we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit to El Molcajete. It's a little farther from home than some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area, but I wouldn't hesitate to return if we were in the neighborhood again.

What should be done is not sell fountain drinks or any drink and if it is the water which is used in all drinks and in food that should be a red flag for customers to be ingesting whatever this is. At the very least provide a disclaimer that drinks and food may be contaminated with whatever they believe it is.....and let the city know.
