Do not order anything you expect to be good. Avocados are never ripe.. the ceviche is a joke, for large shrimp already cooked in tomato sauce with apple juice. They call sandwiches tortas and it's like chewing on gristle. The bread is stale, possibly 3 to 4 days old on average. The seasoning is not bad. The hot sauce is atrocious. If they have it which they rarely do but it is hot. I've eaten there at least 20 times in the last two years because it's nearby. I regret it every time. Just thought you should know. I hope they close and a better place open soon.

Clean, bright colors.

Nice surprise find on Bridge Street in Milford New Jersey. We had a very favorable first experience. Thomas our server was very cordial, took us right to an available window table, cleaned amd prepared as we waited. Brought menus amd cold water. We started off with an order of the empanada de Carne which was OK, I'm not a pot roast lover and it's that kind of meat but regardless it certainly was a nice presentation and had a nice flavor. We really hit it out of the ballpark we ordered the street tacos one order was the Camerona's tacos and the other order was the Al Pastore tacos and both of them are really robust it flavor, freshness, and a very nice plate presentation as you'll see in our pics. Again a great find in a small sleepy town, definitely worth a return trip.

I've been here twice and both times were good. Shrimp tacos are great. I usually don't love Al Pastor but this place nails it! Enchiladas verdes are awesome too. BYO. I'll be back

We ended up here by accident.. Or maybe fate. This isn't our normal area, but what a lucky find! We love Mexican so when we saw the storefront we made a u- turn. There are nice choices on the menu. We ordered the Caliente guacamole and it was made at our table side. So good. It has nice kick without being gimmicky. My man got a burrito with chorizo as the protein and I ordered the shrimp quesadilla. They were both so tasty and good-sized portions. There was a lot of shrimp and chorizo - they definitely did not slack. We added the guac to our meals and made them even better. I'm not going to say it was the best ever. The food is really good. The service was great. They were friendly and fast. I base my ratings mostly on value and for the money and everything, it's a perfect spot.

I want to like this place and the food is good. But the service is slow, the orders are always late- and they really don't care.

Almost two years ago, we decided we'd give it a try and we were not disappointed. We typically order out as service is slower if you choose to eat in. I'm pretty certain it's a family owned business and the owner is the one taking care of everything; From taking orders to cooking and serving. So yes, service is slower, but food quality is not sacrificed. The day we ate at the restaurant, it got busy and seemed like some other family members were called in to help out. Though it was slower until more help came, we still loved our food. Now on to the food, we haven't had a bad meal from here! We love their rice! I always order their chile rellenos with cheese (highly recommend) and my husband loves their burritos. As other reviews say, the red salsa is HOT, so be prepared. But their green salsa is the perfect mix of flavor and heat. The guacamole is to die for! It doesn't get any fresher than El Molcajete's and contains all fresh ingredients. On top of that, it's served with fresh made tortilla chips (not packaged ones). This a hidden little gem in Flemington for quality Mexican Cuisine! Highly suggest you give it a try!!!

From start to finish - 10/10…read more We had a reservation for 830, but had to wait a little to get seated. While we waited, we grabbed a drink at the bar downstairs. The bartender guided us on the drink options and offered suggestions, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the spicy margarita, which was delicious. We then were seated up stairs (the decor and ambiance of this place is beautiful!). They provide complimentary chips and salsa (my fav). The owner came by to apologize for the wait, which really wasn't terrible, and offered us two free tacos on the house. They were delicious! One chicken and one beef. We ordered the toca vez salad and plantain and coconut shrimp sushi (UNREAL!). Both were delicious but the plantain starter was heavenly. I ordered the scallop risotto. Delicious! My husband ordered the salmon and it was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cooked to perfection!! The waitress knew we were celebrating and provided up to complimentary champagnes and ice cream. One of the best dining experiences. Can't wait to come back to try more!

The place is visually very…read moreinteresting - there's really nothing else like it in the Somerset Hills and looks like it came from a much more metropolitan area. The food was a mixed bag. Shrimp tacos - tender seasoned shrimp served on fresh corn tortillas and a spicy sauce on the side were excellent. The steaks - one medium rare ribeye was surprisingly lean, but tender and flavorful and was beautifully cooked. The filet ordered medium came somewhere between rare and medium rare. But it was tender as expected (it is prime filet after all). Asparagus side was phenomenal. Shoestring fries came out crisp but oddly room temp. Sea bass dish was good, but the menu description failed to adequately describe the ingredients. The steaks were typical upscale steakhouse, but I guess I was hoping for a more Mexican-inspired flare when it came to the sauces or sides. Service was well-coordinated and available and friendly and efficient. The area that was lacking was the knowledge of the food. No one knew what was in the sauce that accompanied the shrimp tacos. It's okay not to know perhaps, but say I don't know and go find out. Also requested information about the dishes was lacking, particularly when it came to food allergies which one person in our party had.
