I'm very disheartened by my 2nd experience with this father and son tire company. It seems they provide the best service to Hispanic and White customers but I have not received the same treatment. The 1st visit, the father seemed to not want to answer any of my questions nor really be of any help. I thought it was because he was busy (there was only 1 other customer when I pulled in) and the only one working. After about 20 mins of waiting, another customer walked in (white male) and the owner's attitude was so much better towards him. He even met the customer at his car. I never mentioned it because I personally thought I was reading too much into it. Well today 10/22/2021 I went to the location to replace a tire (my original person was not available) the father and son both were sitting down. When I approached him, again his attitude did not seem welcoming and didn't to really want to help me. I, again, said nothing. Another customer came (white female) and the same man (owner) was extremely nice and helpful. I mean this seemed like a totally different person. I finally said something "I wished I had received the same treatment as the next customer. I feel as if I was a bother and not wanted. This is the 2nd time is has happen" The son then replied, "Why did you even come back?" I stated that "The 1st time I thought I was tripping, but he did it again." The son replied" Don't come back motherfucker!"
It really hurts my heart that black people are treated this way. Then when we speak up, it gets worse. I'm very sadden by this treatment from EL Chapo Tires. read more
