I wish I could separate reviews for good and service!! I'll start with the food - it was delicious!!! We ordered a Shawarma and a chicken bowl. It was cooked perfectly and was very tasty!! I would have liked the fries cooked a little more but the food was a 4 star!!! Service - this is the second time Ive been here and the first I ordered because the girl working there is very rude! We walked up and there was no hello, no smile, nothing. I asked if she could tell me what the chicken was spiced with, I have food allergies. She rolled her eyes, big sigh and said I don't know. Okay, you have no idea??? Then we place our order, and she walked away....no here is your total, it will be c amount of minutes, just slide the beeper on the counter and walked away. We looked at each other, saw the total on the pay pad, processed and walked away. Then after we got our food - no thank you, enjoy, have a good day, etc, we watched her smile and be friendly to a young man who walked up. The first time when we did t order we specifically did not order because same girl was very rude and literally walked to the back of the store, left "to get something" and left us standing there. A couple of weeks ago, we went to The Block on a quiet Monday night. We were there people and we ordered food from 3 different places. My choice was this place. I wanted their Arepas but the attendant told me that it would take 25 minutes. That was a turn off for me. I then decided to order a Falafel sandwich that came with fries. I like Falafel but here they are prepared with too much cumin. I asked for a cup of water and like last time I was told that there didn't have any. read more

4 out of 10, fries were not done, lamb had no salt, they were out of chicken and empanadas, service was rude. No thanks will not return.

You can probably tell I like the food here because I've used all of my napkins and my beard is covered with sauce. I haven't had the Venezuelan food here, but the arepas look really good. I've gotten the lamb sharma and the Block Shwarma (combination) and they were both delicious. The fries and yucca are also good. The also have Inca Cola here which is pretty hard to find. It pretty much tastes like bubblegum to me but it reminds me of visits to Peru so I enjoy it. The staff here is really nice. They'd run out of Diet Coke and they ran way in the back somewhere to get some more. It's worth the drive up to Enchanted HIlls! read more

I think the food was great, but counter order food should never take 30 minutes. No apology or explanation. They are supposed to open at 11, they opened at their convenience, so I did wait patiently for them to open 1120ish... finally ate well into noon. If the food wasn't good, I'd be pretty mad about the experience. Their prices are a little on the high end for a food stall in Rio Rancho. The falafel was great, but needs something other than "chile sauce" as a condiment. The shawarma was great, but also needed something not chile sauce or garlic sauce. tzatziki sauce did not appear to be available. Some questionable gloving techniques were observed, touching non food surfaces with gloves and moving back to food prep, reusing gloves....the kitchen and staff appeared clean so this wasn't overly concerning. My rating takes into consideration all of these factors, they're closer to 3.5 stars read more

The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend El Chamo Arabe you won't be disappointed.

This is poor fast food badly prepared and badly served. Very poor value and the staff person taking my order got it wrong and was borderline rude. It was edible... just. The amount of grease that dripped out of my Empanada was ridiculous. I mean literally a pond underneath it at least 3 tablespoons of hot oil. Once drained the interior was disappointing. Jamon I was informed is Turkey in Venezuela. News to me! It's supposed to be Ham my dear. You may serve turkey slices in cheese and call it what you want I guess. The fries were cold by the time I sat down. I asked for salt and pepper and was told the packets in my plastic utensils were all they had. Really??? The Baba ghanoush was watery. Very little eggplant. No traditional smoky flavor and poorly seasoned. My friends ordered the hummus I originally wanted. (It was stodgy not well blended and not enough garlic or lemon let alone seasoning.) There was one small pita quartered with each side. With the amount they charged another pita would not be a stretch. So much leftover that we took it home. I'll doctor it up and use it on something else. Or feed it to my chickens. Prices are not as advertised. I was charged $3.00 extra for asking TO TAKE THE LETTUCE OFF, my meal, and an extra $1.50 for sauce. My $14 meal ended up being $22 with tax. I'm surprised they didn't charge me extra for the lid for my cup. Awful business practice. 10/10 do not recommend unless you enjoy being scammed. read more
