We were recommended by friends who live near Sitges. The owners have been running this restaurant for 20+ years so that says a bit about its popularity. What a place!
Just the downside first. There is none :)
Luckily I booked ahead of time. We got there at 8.30 which is a bit early in Spain but at 9 people started arriving and by 9.30 it was full. The atmosphere was fabulous.
For starters we got snails, squid, prawns, cured ham, roasted vegetables, and an assortment of breads. Perfect!
Main courses were steak, 2 squids, and hake. Perfect!
Dessert was my all time favourite; music (mixed nuts and raisins with a sweet wine). Crema Catalana, and ice cream.
Drinks were a plenty. 1/2 bottle of cava, 3 beers, 2 cokes, 2 bottles of good wine, coffee and spirits.
Cost €120.00. An absolute bargain.
Well worth a visit and we'll go again next time were near. read more
