Birria Tacos
LaWanda N.

My new go-to for birria tacos!!! Omg!!! I'm so saddened that I live so close and now just trying this gem of a restaurant! These tacos are the absolute tastiest thing I've had in a very long time! The tamale was delish too as well as the fresh tortilla chips and salsa! A must try if you're out this way! And to top it all off, the customer service was splendid!

On the way back to FL from a trip to north Georgia, we were looking for a good place to stop for lunch. We stumbled upon this place via Yelp, and I'm SOOO glad we did. The service, food, and prices were all amazing, especially at an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall off 75 in GA. The salsa was fresh and fantastic. We had the tacos and sopes for our meals. Both were amazing. The margarita (I ordered a large, not realizing it was fishbowl size and $19) was good, but I would have liked a heads up before I ordered it that a large was really more like a drink for 2 Ppl. But, I won't say no to tequila! If you see this and aren't sure whether to stop by--please do! Authentic mexican food, great service, and reasonable prices.

DON GUSTAVO'S SPECIAL: One chicken chimichanga, one beef burrito, one beef enchilada, and one chile relleno. $11.99

I hate doing critical reviews. If service and, food is terrible I try to avoid review completely and just never come back. However, this place has great food and though my service experience wasnt the best, they have great potential to do better. Service: I show up around 11 a.m. still early in the day so the floor is light. My server tends to me right away with chips salsa and a menu. She asks for my drink order to which I respond, "water, no lemon". Usually these exchanges buy you enough time to explore the menu in preparation of the servers return with you drink ready to take your order. I understand delays due to servicing other customers but it was only me and one other party there and she didnt return back to me for almost a whole 10 minutes. What added insult to injury was I was seated at a booth across from the receptionist counter so I could see her the whole time on her phone and watching the t.v. by the registrar. She had completely forgotten about me. I seriously almost walked out but, I chose the ladder and, gave the a chance to sho case the food. Interior: The inside design is awesome. You definitely feel the Mexican vibe when you here. Very clean, spacious and true to Mexican culture. Their bar is themed designed with a spanish tiles roof between two pillars. They have multiple booths accommodating both large and small party guest. Food Quality: I ordered the DON GUSTAVO'S SPECIAL: One chicken chimichanga, one beef burrito, one beef enchilada, and one chile relleno. reasonably priced at $11.99. It came out fresh and hot. The combination of tortilla filled entrees with perfectly seasoned moist ground beef and shredded chicken were definitely a redeeming factor in the lack of quality service. All in all this place is cool. I dont think that the server was bad. She was nice and very courteous but, she seemed very complacent and, not as accommodating as one would expect. Great food, clean establishment less than stellar service. I'm giving it a 3 star but, due the the great food it deserves another half but, yelp doesn't allow yelpers to vote on halfs. So, 3 it is. I'd definitely return and in the future I hope service gets better to I can re-review and update their star rating. I recommend it if your in the area and in the taste for Mexican.

Burrito Texicano, with steak, chicken and shrimp.

Delicious food, and the service is top notch. Walking into this restaurant, you will immediately see how nicely well put together this place is. Very clean and wonderful service.

Absolutely delicious. Hands down best authentic Mexican food in the area. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are great.

Birria Tacos

Birria tacos. I'm not sure why it's not on the menu but they have them! They have the option of goat or beef. I got goat. The plate comes with 4 tacos and one consommé. I ordered two extra tacos and another sauce because I'm greedy lol. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they used but it's deliciously creamy. Perfect contrast to the seasoned goat meat, onions, and cilantro. The consommé could've been seasoned a little bit more but it's not bad at all 8/10.

Great food the customer service was on point I would go again..also the drinks was that bad also make sure u stop by

Great Food. Awesome Salsa. Great Flavor. Not good for a large group as I was with a group of about 20. Very small establishment. Only 4 seats at the bar but a nice low key spot.

It seemed like a fairly normal Mexican place when I walked in. Nothing stood out to me. I headed to the bar to grab some food. The bartender was nice, although she mostly spoke Spanish to her co-workers coming up to the bar. I started off with a medium sized margarita and they brought chips and salsa over. The margarita was just ok (semi strong, lacking on flavor) and the salsa was surprisingly bland. No kick, no flavor. Big bummer. I ordered the street tacos with fish and asked for no charro beans (only eating fish currently). It came out as requested except they did include the charro beans. The tacos were good, no complaints there and the salsa verde was a tad spicier than my salsa. Overall, it was an ok stop. If you're looking for average, this place will fit your need there. Also, be careful walking to the front from the bar, big step down that seemed like two steps should be there.

Most likely will not be back to this location. Staff noticed the roach but nothing was done about it. Still ended up paying full price for a meal we didn't finish due to the obvious loss in appetite.
