Always excellent food with great service. Love the enchiladas rancheras. Good margaritas too.

The staff was super nice and gave us our meals correctly and in a short time. With the chips on the table came a bean type dip. I did not like the taste or the consistency. Also they had a small salsa bar with tiny salsa cups. I would have preferred to have the salsa at our table in regular size dishes. I ordered the shrimp tacos. The taco shell looked like it came from a supermarket package and had little flavor. My shrimp were barely grilled and also had little flavor. They they put on a ton of tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. Why couldn't you have melted the cheese or heated up the taco shell? Or grilled my shrimp on spices so they had flavor? I did like the avocado. The best thing about the meal was the cheap margarita. It did not pretend to be expensive and tasted like a margarita. Sorry I wanted to like this restaurant more. read more

I had no idea how great this restaurant is when I walked in the door. The salsa and chips were phenomenal. It is not your typical tomato based salsa, but a puréed bean based salsa with a twang, and homemade chips, of course. The shrimp fajita salad was excellent. Again, they took this dish up 2 notches, with the shrimp prepared in creamy sauce. I listed this restaurant in my outlook contacts as 5 stars. Bravo! Service was great; prompt, and friendly. And El Bronco is such a calm, very open-spaced restaurant with lots of natural light. I will definitely dine here again! read more

El Bronco doesn't have your classic bright colorful atmosphere, but that was ok. The whole group of servers worked together to gather our drinks, take our order and serve. They started us with hot fresh chips and their own bean "salsa". It as very good. They also have a salsa bar where you can try a variety of their homemade selection. We split the fajitas for 2..... we were speechless when this HUGE platter full of shrimp, pork, steak, chicken and chorizo came out loaded with fresh grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes. This platter would feed a family of 4 or even 6. Servers were very attentive asking how everything was and if we needed drink refills. We will definitely come back to try more. read more

We really like this little Mexican restaurant. Quality fresh food made to order and never complained about dark lettuce or anything really! We were going a couple times a week when we were temporarily staying with our daughter in the area. Friendly, fresh, and recently updated menu as everyone has had to do but you can still eat two for $20 is you don't pick the biggest item on the menu. My husband's favorite happens to be the cheapest on the menu and he loves the pork burrito, El Paso...I think it is called. read more

And in all of the MANY Mexican restaurants that I have been to, EL BRONCO, in Etowah, NC, is by far the best that I have been to. ALWAYS GREAT, TASTY FOOD... Great service... My girlfriend and I go here literally every week and Food is always good no matter what we get , staff is always very friendly and quick. Prices are awesome compared to other Mexican places and they have a salsa bar with plenty of options. Highly recommend eating here! read more

Better than Taco Bell but not really good. Low prices but they add 4% to credit cards. Chili relleno was unlike any I have had. Almost no chili poblano and mostly ground beef in a creamy cheese. Joke really. Avocado burrito was basically avocados and lettuce with a flour tortilla. Rice was decent. Beef tip burritos were ok. Drenched in sauce. Veggie fajitas were the best of the group but just good not great. Will not go here again. Sol y Luna SO MUCH better read more

We Have been going there for a few years and have been enjoying every meal. The last two times things are sliding downwards. First time eating here. Service was friendly, but the food was terrible. I could've made better tacos with the Old El Paso kit from the grocery store. Not much flavor, ground beef was not even seasoned. On the other hand, the fajitas that went to another table looked and smelled good. Wish we had ordered that instead. read more
