Beautiful restaurant serving authentic Mexican food, located on the top floor of the Artz Pedregal shopping center. The appetizers I tried were the "empanada de masa de plátano rellena de frijol" (empanadas made from plantains and filled with black beans, topped with a spicy black sauce) and the "ensalada de nopalitos" (salad with nopales, tomato, cotija cheese, and cilantro). I enjoyed both, but the empanadas were so original and the flavors worked together well. For the main dish, we ordered barbacoa, cecina natural (thinly sliced, salted and partially dried strips of meat) and cecina enchilada (marinated cured meat) to make tacos. I especially enjoyed the cecina enchilada. It wasn't spicy, but it was full of flavor. read more
