I ordered with Grubhub and their lengua servings were pretty large. It came with chips and beans and rice.

Here's a Mexican restaurant that is not the typical plain Mexican place. It's much better! It starts with the wonderful decor, the restaurant is adorned with creative artistic paintings. When we sat down chips & salsa arrived. The chips were ok, seemed pretty standard but the salsa was not our favorite. Within minutes after ordering, the guacamole cart arrived and she prepared a bowl of guacamole for us. It made up for the salsa and then some. We both loved it! I had the shrimp chipotle. It came with rice and a small salad. The chipotle sauce was different, delicious and made my dish something special. It was exceptionally good. Just delicious! My SO has the camarones especial. Shrimp in a white cheese sauce with white rice and a salad. Again, different, delicious and made the dish something special. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!' I can't wait to try other comidas (meals)!

Big bone in my chicken taco and found a hair on my plate. Told the manager was not empathetic about it SMH.... Won't be going back!!!

This was an unbelievable experience! I knew when I saw the menu that my son and I were in for a treat. The taco selection alone is eye popping. Bone broth tacos , really? The servers were gracious and constantly moving with plates of exceptional food. I ordered the molcajete and it's enough to feed a family of four. The meat is tender and perfectly spiced. Just google the restaurant and menu and be mesmerized by a breathtaking atmosphere. Oh speaking of mesmerized, before leaving we were treated to an exotic, transformer pop and locking performance. I thought I transformed to another country. A pure magical restaurant like none I have ever experienced.

Been in Ohio for 2 years in the Dayton area and never noticed this place. However my husband drove past it several times and decided to stop in. Best Mexican I have had since I've been in Ohio. Very very good, well-flavored, perfect portions, fast service. We will definitely be back a lot

The food? Ok, not bad, pretty standard Tex/Ohio Mex. fare, with a few interesting options not seen at other, similar places; nothing too mind-blowing... What sets this place apart is the BEAUTIFUL decor!! Not your standard overload of Mexican "kitsch," you can tell they really took some time, effort, and $$ to redo the previous pizza place into a truly beautiful destination!! If I had a group FIESTA to plan, this would be one of my top choices in the area!! Practically hidden away behind the Wright-Patt Credit Union, in a non attention-grabbing strip mall, this place is truly a labor of love!! We came in for lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon, and pretty much had the place almost to ourselves, but I can imagine that it can (and should...) get busy pretty quickly during "rush" hours. Good service, reasonable prices, well--made food, all served in a place that's truly been redone as a labor of love!! Muy bien hecho, y buen provecho!!!

Two bartenders and a bar manager. No one spoke to me for over 15 minutes. Service and quality totally diminished since new management!

We eat here probably once a week. A very tasty and unique place, not your normal generic Mexican fare.

It is not their type of food so they would have never mentioned it. We found it recently when my wife and I were looking for a quick lunch option while on an errand. The building shape looks like it is a small hole-in-the-wall fast food place, and that's pretty much what it is. It makes sense when one considers that Victor's is designed to compete with TB. This place is clean and tidy, but quite small and relatively simple with seating for 30 - 40 people. It's more set up for take out than dine in, but you can certainly eat there if you'd like. This was apparently the fourth Dayton franchise. In the bigger picture, they have seven (7) in Ohio and four (4) in Tennessee. Hence, they are small enough to provide that friendly Mom-and-Pop quaintness without that stale corporate vibe. The menu here is a bit more extensive with homier touches compared to TB. They were relatively complete with their variety of Mexican fare and part of their offering is Mexican street food. We were there for lunch so we went a little bit to the light side with tacos. My wife had the shredded chicken tacos and I had the chorizo, egg and cheese tacos. I loved that they had the breakfast tacos as an option. The food was very good. The woman who waited on us was very pleasant and seemed quite interested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The prices were also quite fair as we got away with less than $10 per person with water to drink. My only small complaint was that their drinks were limited and the machine was constituted of Pepsi products, which do not suit us. We would have been happy to substitute iced tea but they did not offer it. The dining area, while relatively spartan, was certainly adequate to allow us a place to sit and eat our order. I thought this place was quite good and we would try it again for a quick meal when we're in the area. It's a tasty inexpensive option, particularly for lunch. It's very good for what it is and delivers commensurate with its purpose.

Highlight: 2 Carne Asada Soft Taco ($9.98), Horchata ($2.50)…read more Horchata tasted a bit watered down, with a hint of cinnamon. Sweet and refreshing, very light flavor. The meat is a bit seared, making it crispy and tougher to chew. Fresh veggies. Good sauce, with a kick. Hospitality: The cashier was friendly, and the food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Honorable Mention: Small shop, limited seating indoors.

I ordered a half chicken With french fries and Charro beans along with corn tortillas. The chicken. Flavor packed. Juicy. Fall off the bone. I haven't had this in forever and I have to find a place like this in Columbus. Just amazing! The young man brought out two bottles of house hot sauce. One red and one green and he warned me that both were hot so to use them sparingly. You can see the peppers in the red sauce and I tried it first on the chicken and oh my gosh!! I'm assuming they do all their own sauces because this was matched perfectly to the chicken. Charro beans. Almost soup like with chunks of pork (I'm guessing) and again they just had this home cooked touch to it, like it's been simmering for hours. Flavor all the way through, no need for hot sauce. French fries! I am definitely a Fry snob and these were better than my favorite Gyro place in Northampton, Pennsylvania. Crispy but not overdone, light and fluffy on the inside with the perfect amount of salt. Corn tortillas I swear these made by hand. Wrapped in aluminum foil, these things managed to stay soft the entire time. This place looks unassuming from the outside, but quality of food for the dollar, in my opinion, can't be touched. I spent $15 total for all of this food and that included a bottle of water. Plain and simple, when I'm back in Dayton, I will be stopping!

Responsive, checked in regularly but not to much. Everyone was polite and very fast service. Ambiance is what I would call typical, restaurant bar type atmosphere with Mexican music in the background. No issues but don't expect a lot in that respect. Now the food, also right on par, good food, I had the trio fajitas which were very good but again typical for this style restaurant. Salsa was a little sub par but also not bad. All in all this is a solid choice for lunch or dinner, I don't think you can go wrong! Not sure why the star rating is so low, my experience was very positive.
