The service was great and Miriam was sweet. We ordered the pork chili verde burrito to share. I'm glad we shared as it is big! Super tasty, a little spicey but we liked it. The chairs were the white folding ones so when you sat down, the chair glided across the floor. The buffet had very little options, and the options that were available looked like old food so I opted to order from their menu. I got the chilaquiles, and to my surprise there was a hair in the salsa. Service wasn't great either, didn't offer refills, and was basically chasing them down to ask to order food or get silverware.

Huge disappointment! Yelp let me down…read more I'm a hole in the wall enthusiast and was excited to try this small mom and pop restaurant only to be disappointed! Ordered Huevos Rancheros and it was just eggs no salsa on top or tortilla underneath like I was expecting. They said this is how they made it. U ordered over hard and has you can see with the yolk that wasn't the case. The eggs were extremely salty to the point I couldn't continue eating. The salsa they did serve me after requesting was delicious. The rice was good but my beans were ICE COLD! Like no heat to them. They had a Buffett going on while I was there but nothing look appealing just old food under a heat lamp.

The food was decent, but it lacked seasoning and overall flavor. Nothing was bad, just a bit underwhelming. They do offer a small buffet from 11 to 1, which I didn't try this time. I might come back to check that out and give the place another shot. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen. From my understanding, his business is in Arvin, but caters around the area. So far I have enjoyed his tacos and I have tried the chicken, carne asada and the pastor. They set up everything so you can put your taco and hotdog together. For the tacos, he has chopped onions, cilantro, lime, radishes, grilled onions, grilled peppers, and two kinds of salsa (green or red sauce). For the hotdogs he has ketchup, mayo, mustard and grilled veggies (bell pepper and onions). Everything is made fresh to order and everything is prepared quickly. I don't know the Señors name, but he's friendly and I don't know if he's the only one that runs the business, but I have not seen any other people each time he has come. Not sure on prices, but I do know the tacos are delicious. Meats are moist, tasty, and definitely something I would buy if I knew where his stand posted at. I'm not too sure if he strictly only does catering. He sets up fast so you can tell he's been doing this for awhile and when he packs up to leave, always cleans up after himself.

We got hungry on our drive to Las Vegas and needed a quick bite. The service is excellent. The server was very helpful. She gave us a quick menu run down and was very attentive. As I mentioned earlier it's a old school diner vibe. I had not visited small towns in a long time so it felt different. The food was good. We ordered a burrito n tacos which were pretty good servings. The type of chips that the restaurant often serves, will often times tell you how the food is. I love tacos, as a matter of fact I make tacos of anything n everything. I love me some tacos. From visiting many Mex restaurant in quest to find the perfect taco I have noticed. The chips they serve tell you a lot of what time of you will be receiving. This restaurant definitely passed the test. The chips and salsa were good and surprisingly the bill was light too.

I've passed by it plenty of times, but have never thought to drop in during lunch. Finally came here to celebrate my boss's birthday. The parking lot was packed & very limited considering the lunch rush, but after waiting around a bit, a space freed up. The line was out the door! It felt like a bit of a wait to get through it, but they were doing their best. Once we finally made it inside, I loved the whole vibe. They had license plates on the ceiling, framed photos on the walls, and signs/paintings with little nods to Bakersfield. When it came to their food, I had no idea what I was in for, but was told by a friend that their salad lites were pretty good. And wow--there was nothing "lite" about this salad. They gave you a huge portion size. I could only eat half of what I was served. Granted the price reflects coming in at a little over $20. But it was still a solid meal. Didn't get the chance to take a photo of it, because I was so hungry after waiting that I stuffed my face. But I think I will return!
