Went on 9-8-25. The food was alright. We got two orders of the fajita nachos appetizers, and order of a large cheese dip and two large orders of a margarita. The nachos were good, the cheese dip was runny even after it got cold. And the margaritas, it's like they used a cheap tequila and it wasn't worth the $17 per glass. We couldn't even drink the whole thing. Talked to a manager and she said she couldn't do anything about it because she said we drinkers half of the drinks. Even though we drank about a quarter of mine and my spouse took about 3 drinks of his. Spent in total $85 and the whole experience wasn't worth it read more

The Carnitas is great. The pork just falls apart and the corn tortillas are hot and fresh and it comes with rice and beans and if you like hot then have them add some fresh jalapeños. read more

Super friendly staff. Nice cool large restaurant with lower lighting than I'd expect. The chicken mole dish came with four chunks of chicken and rice in addition to chips, salsa, and several mini tortillas. The mole sauce here is thicker than Paraiso Acapulco which is just across the street yet the sauce didn't quite cover the amount of chicken. The chicken was boneless but not as tender and juicy as Paraiso so it needed more mole than was given- I had to leave a lot of chicken uneaten as without sauce it would need a lot of liquid to get down. The rice it came with was unique and although I'm not much of a rice fan, the bites I tried were well seasoned and there were bits of mixed veggies such a potato, corn, and peas throughout. read more

First time coming here. We live in Marion, AR and pass through Searcy on our way to Fayetteville all the time. I loved this place. I would definitely call this a destination location for Mexican food. The food was so fresh. The seasonings were perfect. It's very different from every other Mexican restaurant in the state. Delicious is an understatement. And it was not too heavy or soggy from sitting in a steamer all day. I ate everything on my plate and I never do that. I had the number 14, I believe. Tamales, tostada and beef enchilada. My husband had the carnitas. I would recommend them both. I can't wait to come back. read more

So, myself and my wife wrote 5 star reviews on this place back in March of 2017 on Yelp. We have been coming here roughly once a month for the past 2 years. In those 2 years we have watched this place steadily decline and today was the last time we will be going there. Here's the bad... 1. Greeted at the door and offered an upstairs seat. (The downstairs dining room was empty) 2. As soon as we were seated, the waitress failed to introduce herself and asked just "what do you want to drink?". She immediately got the drinks and as soon as she set them down asked "are you ready to order". There was literally 2 minutes from the time we sat until we were asked what we wanted to eat. Didnt even get to open the menus. 3. Ordered our meals. I got the "Guadalajara" which is according to the menu, a chicken burrito and a chicken enchilada with cheese sauce, lettuce, pico, sour cream and guacamole. I asked for NO sour cream and tomatoes instead of pico. When it was delivered it had sour cream so I asked them to fix it. They scraped it off and returned the plate. When I cut into it, it was filled with beef. When I asked the waitress, she said it was because I didnt specify, and the beef is the most popular. The MENU said chicken...not a choice of. I sent it back and could hear the cooks and the waitress yelling about the order. 5. I asked for a manager and explained I had to sit and listen to the staff argue about the food they messed up. He seemed confused as to how that was inappropriate. 6. Food comes back out again and the plate is hot, but food was room temp. Seriously? You remake an order and dont even make sure it is hot??? 7. Again, complained to the manager and he smiled, shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry" as he walked away. I tried to go to bat for these folks when they were trying to get off the ground. Unfortunately, another start up is suffering and taking a turn for the worst. Lot of CPR needed for this place now! Wont be back! read more

We're new to the area and tried El Almacen after church one Sunday. The restaurant itself is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It's presented (somewhat) as an upscale restaurant, yet once you enter the building there is no pretentiousness. Our servers were all very attentive, checked on us just enough, and did all they could to ensure a positive dining experience for us. Bottom line: fantastic ambience, delicious food and phenomenal service! Highly recommend! read more

The food was good - but we were told that our food would be slow (after we received half of our order) because they had a large party upstairs, even while people around us ordered and received their food. It took us almost an hour to receive our food. Rather than comping us or at least trying to apologize, we were just purposefully ignored by the owner, a manager, and other staff. I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you want to receive your food in a timely fashion. read more

The food here is amazing and among the best ever. It was recommended to me by a friend and it was everything they said it was going to be - great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I am curious as why there are any low reviews posted here at all. The price for what we received was (in my opinion) way too low. We had 4 bottled beers, 2 tamales, 2 full meals, chips / salsa, and 1 deep fried cheesecake with ice cream for $52 dollars. I posed photos of the food and the receipt. I've been going to this place for over 18 years. They were originally Mi Ranchetos before they moved to different location. At a valid of Mexican restaurants in town. I feel that they're the best. They have the best cheese dip in town at a great price. And my favorite thing from there is the Arroz mi pueblito beef. read more

No stars. Bad service. Switched the specials on us. They changed the board after we were seated. Food came out without the cold plate. It came out 10 min later. Not a pleasant experience. As a rule I always get fajitas, they are always good. Keep in mind this is real Mexican food, not "tex mex", (if your into that go to chilis). The pollo asada, shrimp casadea rellana, skillet nachos, all winners too. As an added bonus, one of only three places in town, you can have an adult beverage. With drink and food specials nightly, friendly service, makes this the best in town for Mexican style food. (I apologize for misspelling the food dishes) I highly recommend this place. read more

Everything is just average, nothing special. Same as almost every other Mexican restaurant in the US. They do have a bar (dry county) with high liquor taxes so the margaritas are expensive and nothing outbof the ordinary. read more

I came out to eat after a great Sunday sermon with my family and ordered what I thought was cheese enchiladas with potatoes and sour cream on top. It was not the cheese enchiladas I normally order. When I cut into them it looked like cottage cheese so I sent them back. The manager came to the table very rude and said I ordered them and the menu stated what they were when I ordered. I then asked if he could just bring 2 regular cheese enchiladas and he says "are you sure"? I said you know what don't worry about it. He brings them anyways. I get my receipt and both orders are on the ticket. I told him I was not paying for them and he argued and treated me horrible. The owner comes over and was just as bad! After 15 minutes of arguing with them he removes the enchiladas I ordered but leaves the enchiladas I never asked for on my ticket. So incredibly un called for. Terrible customer service! Will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to support these guys. Worst customer service EVER!!!i Also the waiter handed my husband a plate that was so HOT that his hands will probably have blisters and never even apologized. read more

The salsa is nice because it isn't filled with cilantro and the cheese dip is good ol white cheese dip. Not what it used to be. I'm wondering if this placed changed ownership or is under new management. The service went from excellent to barely attentive. The quality of food isn't as good. Before, their items that contained steak was good quality. Now, it's over tenderized low quality cut of beef. Some bites were so stringy and chewy I couldn't even chew them. Disgusting. The menu offers many unique and intriguing options. Both of our entrées were delicious and filling. Few Mexican restaurants in the area offer such a diverse and authentic selection of recipes. This is not your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. The building is reminiscent of Spanish architecture. The lighting and brick façade make this a great romantic spot for a date. Overall this restaurant is a great success I hope the people of Searcy visit it enough so that it stays open! read more

I went with a group of ladies and our waiter only asked once if we needed a refill and when it was time to pay didn't bring our check or ask if we were separate check he just took one of the ladies cards and ran all of our food together. When we brought it to the front desks attention she blamed us for what happened and would not help us on any way. I will never go back and be treated like this again. read more
