Service was extremely friendly but a little unorganized during our visit. Several people working but only one actually working with customers which resulted in one of us getting our meal right away while the other had to wait for about ten minutes. This is my favorite restaurant when I visit Searcy to see my parents. Delicious flavors, fresh ingredients, generous portions - overall excellent food. My only disappointment is that they are closed Sunday and Monday, but I will wait patiently until Tuesday to patronize again. :) I am also a fan of the major chain that they are similar to, but honestly - if we had a Burrito Day where I live, I would choose them over the national chain every time. The cookies at this burrito joint are shockingly fantastic. They're soft and so flavorful. The chocolate was so richly flavored and tender and the citrus was equally delicious. My burrito was huge but needed flavoring in the meat or some sort of sour cream or something as even with the summer salsa it was quite dry and lacking in flavor. It was more expensive than Chipotle and waaaaay less tasty so I'd only come here for the cookies to be honest. read more

Very low-key setting. You order down the line (like Subway). Be warned: you can load your burrito up with so many toppings you can't close it to eat. We ordered ours in a bowl with no tortilla. Great addition to Searcy. Locally owned with good quality ingredients. I had the burrito bowl with pork and chicken. Both meats were generously seasoned which is something you don't get in these types of restaurants. The toppings were all fresh and crisp. I did like the flavor of the guacamole but next time just throw int on top Instead of having to put it in a side cup. I highly recommend adding a spicy chipotle sauce in the future if you are listening owners of Burrito Day! I think that would be a great addition to your homemade salsas and other sauces. This is a great little spot to eat that has fresh ingredients and a fun atmosphere to go along with it. In an older building right off of Center St. (park in the back!) Burrito Day Cafe is a fun spot with lots of character and good energy. Warning: this place is tiny. There is only around 10 tables on the inside and about 3 little bistro tables outside, yet it seems the locals know this pretty well and a lot were getting to-go orders. Since it is a small environment, if you are sensitive to loud talking this is probably not the best place to dine-in. If you are okay with a little louder environment (because this place gets busy fast - come early!) then this spot will provide you with a lively lunch. I chose the chicken burrito bowl which came with a ton of options - different choices of rices, beans, veggies, etc. The guac is pretty simple - seemed like just avacado and tomatoes - but it was really good. My dining companion and myself split the large cheese dip - more than enough - and the queso was good yet the chips were a bit too salty for my tastes. Everything else tasted pretty perfect and fresh, and the mango tea was divine (more mango than tea)! My chicken burrito bowl, a small mango tea, and a large cheese dip came to around $19. The employees were super nice and quick with my order and I look forward to trying them out again in future visits to Searcy. read more

Today was my third visit here, I'll preface this review by saying the first two were pretty good, hence I came back a third time. Today was disappointing though. I always get nachos and usually chicken but today I had decided I wanted ground beef, they were out of ground beef...on a Saturday. Uh...go to the store and get some?! Why is this a thing at all?! So I go ahead and get chicken. As the guy was spooning the toppings of my choice onto the bed of chips he made no attempt to drain and liquid from the chicken sitting in water (maybe broth) or the beans also sitting in liquid. This resulted in a pile of mushy nachos that I only ate half of and with a spoon because it was like cereal. My boyfriend got a burrito and because the same method was used his tortilla was soggy and gummy. He asked for chips so he could just dump the contents of his burrito onto them(he explained this to the employee) and she charged him for chips! We found this place because we were passing through and my kids wanted Chipotle. We were worried a little because the prices felt high for a small town. HOWEVER. This was some of the best food we've had. The burritos (12 in) must have weighed 4 lbs! My 11 year old can eat a ton and only ate half his. My kids loved the quesadilla but we didn't know the rice and beans would come on the side, but that was fine. The large chips and salsa was a ton. Great price for that.
