    Bean and Chicharron burrito.

Burrito the size of my arm! Service wasn't great, but the good was delicious! Chicharrones were on point. Good chops and salsa. Chorizo queso dip was bomb!

Perfect modest Mexican restaurant! Nice spice, heat, and flavor! Super friendly service! Had the special - carnitas plate - the pork was perfect!! Will come again!

I love this place! Me and my friend go here all the time. Love the salsa and green chile. They are spicy and delicious! Service is always awesome and food comes out quickly. Good size portions for the cost. The restaurant is very comfortable and nice to enjoy a good meal. They made my friends day on his birthday with a surprise dessert! I've been here many times and will continue to return!

Sloppy Green Chili Ground Beef Burger aka The "Slopper"
    Cliff J.

Great food and great service in a casual atmosphere. We came here specifically based on our search for the famous Pueblo heirloom "slopper", a staple unique to this region of Colorado and known very little outside the area. For those that don't know, a slopper is basically a butter toasted bun, ground beef, salsa made with Pueblo (similar to Hatch) chilies, French fries, all smothered with cheese and served on a platter. El Aguascalientes absolutely makes a killer creation notably known as the slopper, but I should add that I've never had another one for comparison. Several companions I traveled with have enjoyed the Pueblo sloppers before and all said El Aguascalientes would rank 9/10 but they're partial to an establishment in Pueblo. Top it off with house margaritas for $5 on Wednesdays and the house chips and salsa, both phenomenal by the way. The house Salsa had so much flavor and a lot of burn yet still mild in nature, although some may consider it "hot". Thanks so much for your friendliness and hospitality! Will definitely return next time I'm out.

Man oh man where do I begin. By far a new favorite for sure. I ordered the fajitas and they were so good. It came out in a skillet piping hot and sizzling. So hot that I forgot it was hot and burned my arm. Smh. They give you chips and salsa to snack on while your food cooks but honestly don't need to eat that many because the food come out super fast. Had a margarita and it was great! Super refreshing and delicious and yes you can taste the alcohol in it. I have 0 complaints. I love how friendly all the staff was. I don't remember the pricing but from what I can remember it was pretty reasonable. But I am always down for paying for quality.

To our favorite server Evelyn happy 19th birthday love the chimichanga group! She always has a smiling face.

The friend who took us here was like "you know it feels authentic when you sit down and they bring you these homemade chips that's very subtly different from others'. And you look at the menu with all these regional specialties..." I gotta say, my friend was 100% right! We had great fun perusing the gigantic menu while trying to match a dish with its picture (often times the name of the dish is found on the opposing page from the picture...) Everything we've tried so far (we've already been here twice within a couple of weeks and ordered close to a dozen different items) is delicious. Especially the Cheese Stuffed Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon. So flavorful I'm convinced even non-bacon lovers would be converted! The only reason I took a star from a perfect score is their dishes tend to be a little pricey compared to the too many Mexican restaurants in this state. A fajita type of skillet with just chicken and chorizo (no seafood) is $23!!! Also, they automatically charge 15% gratuity so be sure to look at your check! It's all in Spanish so you could say they're sneaky but the way I looked at it is if they hadn't done that I might have tipped at 18% or even 20%... Also, if you check in on Yelp here you'll get a free margarita but be sure to mention the deal BEFOREHAND. The first time we were here my friend ordered a margarita but they wouldn't let us redeem the offer at the end because supposedly what you order off the menu is a much bigger size margarita than their free offer one. So we had to come back to use the deal. We were happy to though, because of how tasty the food is.

Deluxe burrito with Ham was delicious!
    Devon D.

El Aguascalientes, this place definitely doesn't look like much when you drive by, it's probably easy to miss, especially with all the construction on Wadsworth, but you really get the authentic Mexican feel when you come inside. I had the ham deluxe burrito and it was great, my friend had the chiliquilles and he loved his. We will likely be back again soon if we're on this side of town. Great first impression!

    Cheese Enchilada
    Cathryn S.

This place doesn't look like much when you drive by, but the drinks are strong and the food flavorful and delicious! I love any of their enchiladas and my partner suggests any of their burritos! They are never slammed, but have steady business! I suggest the prickly pear margarita as a drink!

They have their own parking lot so finding a spot is not an issue. We were welcomed in and decided to sit in the bar area to the right of the entrance. Julia and JD were tending bar and taking care of the patrons in that area. My husband chose the Proverb Cabernet, and I selected the Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio from the wine list for happy hour. Once we had our beverages we ordered some food. I had the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were tender and chilled just right. The cocktail sauce had a wonderful bite from the horseradish. He had the Bison Sliders. The sliders had Swiss cheese, tomato, pickle and Sriracha aioli sauce. He had one and was full. We took the rest home. While we were enjoying our selections, my husband noticed Julia making a Smoked Manhattan for another patron. The process was so interesting he decided to order one. She was kind enough to let us film her explanation of the drink and the sparks and flame that came with presentation. As he was enjoying his beverage, JD came by to check on us and asked if we were celebrating anything that evening. My husband explained his accomplishment and the amount of work that had gone into it. JD surprised us by bringing out a crème brûlée to share for the occasion. We will have this at the top of our list when we have a week night celebration.

Found this location listed in the Michelin guide and thought... let's try it out? On the third story it's not your average restaurant set up... we were seated next to the kitchen where we got to see the magic! Johny was our waiter who was absolutely killing it! He and his whole staff were engaged, checking in, and even the chefs were bringing us our plates right to our table! Absolutely just one of the best experiences as we order the "Walk With Us" for 2. Walk with us: 5/5 Banchan style servings or tapas as I'm so used to... are ways of giving you the chefs vision of a story they want to paint with food. A taste so unique that I will say... only gets better as you keep going down this experience. Starters throughout the experience have so much flavor and textures that complement each other. The entrees... they get so much better.... Short rib Wagyu galbi that's so scrumptious and a Korean fried chicken that's crispy as can be with a perfectly cooked chicken through and through that's moist and just the perfect definition of a k-fried chicken! I would say my top 3 favorite bites would be: 1. Shaken rice 2. Oyster mushrooms 3. Entree meet: (chicken & beef) tied The chef who brought us the shaken rice explained the meaning behind the dish and what was in it... the back story is so wholesome and unique that it leaves you heartfelt and just happy to be sharing this experience. The oyster mushrooms have so much flavor... you would need to have them because. They mimic beef so well and they have been seasoned to perfection! Entrees.... Yes! They're that good! They will be a challenge to eat because everything else around you is also super good!!! The only thing I wish I would have tried would have been the milk rolls as they looked so good.... Also, he aware that there is a service charge for the walk with us as it is a full show and display of food. Think of it as a tip, but don't be scared to show them some extra love as it's well worth a star in my book. I hope they get one and I can come back and celebrate it! The venue was lively and everyone was so nice! 5/5 this is what you look for in an experience!

First, the meal was very reasonably priced. We opted for "Walk with Us". That means each person picks a main course (centerpiece) and then everything else on the menu is included with everyone's meal. It was a lot of food and it was a lot of deliciousness. Some of our favorites: The cucumbers were spicy delicious, kimchi perfect, the grilled mushrooms earthy and tasty. Hey Kiddo is known for its fried chicken and it should be--tender, crisp, crunchy and with 3 dipping sauces. The Wagyu Beef Galbi is served Korean BBQ style, to wrap in a lettuce leaf. Pork Belly tender and meaty. The grilled sea bass, with a butter sauce and mussels tender, tasty and tremendous. Potato Pave must have had 30 layers- incredible presentation and taste. ...and the shaken rice, aka a work of art, when presented, then shaken and eaten. Everything Asian influenced Our server was impressive; he knew a lot about the quirky, but specially selected wines by the bottle and shared his knowledge about several as well as providing a great road map of the food courses. We could not have had a better experience without him. Don't skip on the cocktails--all good with some subtle twists on old classics. Now to the downside. The place is NOISY. We were seated early and the music was deafening already. Just blasting out of multiple speakers. Then as the restaurant filled up, and everyone started yelling at their tablemates, it was just too loud to enjoy the rest of the meal. Hard floors, no soundproofing and a room full of people enjoying themselves makes for a very loud atmosphere.

While I understand other good reviews Kin Nori Bar receive, it's just not a place I would return to or recommend simply because it's too expensive for what you get.
