HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! This company will ROB you! I had a truck break down outside of Circleville empty with a flatbed. This company came to tow us back to Dayton OH and charged me $3000!!!! For 100 miles. I cannot believe the way I was treated when I called to ask why the bill was so much. They threatened to take my truck and trailer to impound and then a woman called back and told me she didn't want to hear what I had to say, and did not care. I only wanted an explanation. Then they put the poor driver in the middle and told him he could only take a com check or EFS, even after I filled out a credit authorization to pay the bill. I own my own flatbed company and it's outrageous how I was treated and how they take advantage of people. I am a woman owner with 10 trucks and I've never been treated so badly in this business. Needless to say I received a receipt via text and they took my card. Never again, I hope this helps someone not get taken advantage by these people. I wish I could leave Zero stars!!! read more

This is by far the biggest infestation of scammers in the entire United States. They wouldn't let me near my car in January after it was towed here by the local police department even when my insurance and the insurance company of the at fault driver (progressive) claimed they would guarantee payment. The clerk at the window informed me that both insurance companies "suck and don't pay their bills" and I will need to pay them (cash only when they claim to take cards) to get anything from my car and sarcastically wished me good luck getting reimbursed from insurance. Interesting predicament when what's missing / trying to be recovered is my wallet. They refused to work with either insurance companies, me (unless I bring cash only payment) and even the police department insisting this is between us (me and eitels). It took the chief of police from Grove City visiting them before my insurance company was finally allowed to send an adjustor to bring cash payment and tow the car off the lot. Can I give negative stars???? This is the worst towing company I have ever seen. They are rude on the phone and steal your stuff. Luckily my insurance company picked up the car 48 hours after they did but it was too late. Everything had been tossed searching for valuables. All of my stuff was in the trunk of my SUV, even stuff from the glove compartments. They even opened my little change purse and took the change! They took my phone charger and lord knows what else, I haven't even looked at everything. It's bad enough you get in a car accident, but the people you trust steal from you at your weakest moment! Today one of my semi trucks was in an accident. A pickup truck rear ended the trailer and the pickup driver was sited. Eitel's towing was called to the scene. My vehicle was drive able off the scene but Eitels used one truck to tow the trailer and one truck to tow my tractor to their yard. They held my driver and equipment hostage for around three hours while we tried to get them paid. They refused payment by credit card and only would take an wire transfer to release them. Their web site advertises they accept credit card payments. Our total bill was $5346.51 including a $150 storage fee while they held my equipment hostage. If you are ever in an accident make sure you tell the police(Grove City Police) this place is not who you want. read more

I will NEVER allow them anywhere near a vehicle I own! They stole my grandsons car seat, my sons football gear, went thru the glove box, & trunk. Then to beat it all when I went to pick the car up the woman at the counter was rude and worthless. My car got impounded and they wouldn't allow me to get my belongings unless I showed them a title even thought I had a registration under my name. I asked if I could at least get my information such us security card and IDs and won't allow me to get near the vehicle. I waited 2 freaking months until I got my title. Not happy with them not allowing people get their stuff. Ar last an old man treated me good with respect which was very nice of him. Even on the phone call a guy was very rude. They towed my brothers semi less then fifteen miles... charged him 1,765.50 .... yes seventeen hundred.... this isn't a typo.... then the fat lady at the front desk was rude and treated us like we were criminals . BEWARE we were in a bad accident with our motorcoach and the police officer on the scene called Eitels Towing. Everything went completely crazy when i told them where our insurance company told us to have it towed to a repair yard 10 miles from the accident. The 2 workers onsite told us it had to be towed to their yard which was 30 miles away because they were worried about getting  paid.  We have full coverage insurance including towing & they refused our Westfield insurance card, their website says they take credit cards so we offered our Visa but they refused that too saying they had to have cash and if we didnt pay it our motorhome would be towed to their yard & we would be denied access to all our belongings. These people basically held us hostage on the side of the road after we'd just had a traumatic experience and we needed to have the police officer get involved for them to agree to tow it where our insurance company requested. They finally agreed to allow us to use our credit card but we were  forced to drive 40 miles to their tow yard to use it because they wouldnt allow use to call it in. Beware of this company they are unethical & made a traumatic experience even worse. Also our tow bill was $2800 to go 10 miles! read more

These people are wicked and scary. They want to charge us $800 for towing a bus from a parking lot we had permission from them and the hotel next door to park in. (Ohio state law says they " cannot charge more than one hundred fifty dollars for the removal. and no more than $12 per hour for storage"). This is a swindle. The owner of the restaurant and the hotel next door seem to be conspiring with the tow truck owners. We parked the bus there with permission from both places. Went to leave...the bus was gone along with a vehicle parked next to it. We are then told it costs $800 CASH to get the bus (full of younger athletes from Minnesota). This is Sunday. Who can get $800 cash on Sunday from MInnesota to Ohio. The hotel next door where we stayed...they did nothing (except charge extra money to store the luggage because the bus was towed and there was no where to put the luggage when we had to check out) to help even though they advertised "free parking" i this lot. Girls were stranded in Columbus. What a horror story. Do not stay at Americas Best Value Inn or Eat at the Buffet/Hibachi restaurant on West St. James Lutheran Way in Columbus, Ohio... or you might be the next victims to lose your vehicle to these nasty, mean, crooks who break the law. read more

A bunch of thieves! I own a trucking company. And on 7-17-17, one of my trucks was involved in a 4 vehicle accident on I-270 around Columbus, OH. And the Columbus Police called Eitel's. They used one big wrecker to tow the semi-tractor (it had front end damage). And another bobtail semi-tractor to hook on to the trailer (loaded and had no damage) and take everything back to their yard 25 miles away. They maybe had 2.5 hours (tops) in the whole event from the time they got the call until they returned to their yard. They wanted $12500. And my Ins Co (Great West Casualty) negotiated it down to $11000. A fair price for these services would be approx $5000 - $6000. Maybe the Policeman gets a kick back...? And on top of overcharging, they pumped the fuel out of both tanks (and there wasn't any fuel spill of any kind). So...they stole approx 200 gals diesel fuel at $2.42 per gal or $484. I will NEVER use them again. And I am filing a complaint with the State Attorney General Office. read more

The County Sheriff had my Dad's car towed to this place. My Dad is 81 years old, has COPD and is on dialysis. I have a Power of Attorney to handle his affairs. this company initially told me they would not honor the POA and that we needed license, registration, and title to retrieve the vehicle. I told these people the POA should be sufficient -- they quoted me the price to retrieve the vehicle. When we drove to their facility, they refused to release the car, which is unethical and illegal. I am going to call the Sheriff and report the car stolen because at this point this company's actions amount to a theft. The County needs to stop using this company -- they're horrible. read more

This was the most helpful towing company I've ever dealt with! My auto club found them for me, but when I talked to them they informed me that the shop the auto club found to tow my truck to was closed and had no night drop. The man on the phone was super-helpful, and helped me find another place to tow me to. The driver was very courteous and found a hotel for me to stay the night. Really above and beyond. It's too bad they get bad reviews from the police impound "customers". These aren't actual customers that found Eitel's, rather they were told by police that their vehicle was being stored there. I can't speak for them. All I know is if you're looking for towing service they are amazing and took great care of both me and my truck. read more

This place is a rip off. called them out on a recommendation of another repair facility because they had fast service. the fast service obviously only applies to how soon they can get a guy out to the truck, not how soon they can have the unit up and running. Called road service out to jump start a truck, something that should take a total of maybe 45 mins for the time that takes to leave the charger on the truck. 2 hrs and several mins later they were done and over $300 later. I could have called out TA and waited a little longer to get a tech out there but they would have been done in 1/2 hr or little more and would have been $120 - $150 to run out to truck. Also there charger broke down while out jump staring truck and of course they weren't charging us for that time, which was bull. they charged us for their equip failure. This place charges by how long takes to complete service and then milks the time to the absolute limit to get every penny. read more
