I'm pleased to see that Eileen has all 5-star reviews. But, I'd expect nothing less, honestly. This woman works wonders with waxing. She's pleasant and thorough. I first met Eileen when I couldn't get a Brazilian wax appointment ANYWHERE, right before a big trip where I'd be spending a lot of time in a bathing suit. So I called up Strada, and she had an appointment. I was comfortable getting my hoo-ha waxed, and we talked about general stuff to make the time go by quickly. I was hair-less in no time and I wasn't all that red or sensitive - a big thing for me because I am ALWAYS red after waxing. A few months later I went in for a brow wax - not something I usually do since she stares at my hoo-ha and then my face. But she was so good, I decided to break this self-imposed rule. She tamed my bushman eyebrows and again, I wasn't red and could go back to work immediately after the appointment with out putting any make up on. More recently, I went to see her because I didn't like the shape of my brows, I simply laid down and said "work your magic." She totally did! My brows looked great for my engagement photos! It appears from the other reviews that I am not alone when saying that I have been a client for many years because of Eileen's exceptional service and personality. I have had waxings, facials, massages, microdermabrasion, and other services, and have never been disappointed. I have tried other spa treatments while on vacation, and even at Santana Row, but in truth, Eileen provides better service and higher quality of work then places that charge twice as much. The atmosphere is relaxing, and while I always enjoy chatting with her, she lets the client decide to either relax in silence or engage in conversation. I went in to have a brazilian done..... I WAS SO SCARED! Eileen was great! Yes of course a brazilian hurts but in all honesty I would do it again! To say I am "particular" about who touches my eye brows is an understatement. When I moved from San Diego to the Bay Area it took me 3 years to find the first person I trusted but she worked out of Danville, and was expensive. But I didn't care as long as it meant I had good eye brows. Then when I opened a business in San Jose, I was still traveling to Danville which really made for an expensive wax. I had met Eileen through the Hispanic Chamber and was just getting to know her when I saw the work she did on a colleagues eye brows.
