I have to say that Eide Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Bismarck is a big time scamming dealership! They just charged me $695 to do undercoating for my RAM. Does this look like they undercoated it to the reasonable person? Or anyone?!?! What a joke. I was definitely scammed. They take a spray can and spray 3 strips of 2 ft long areas under the cab. Please be advised if you have ever gotten undercoating from them, you likely don't have any coating to protect your vehicle. Extremely upset and disappointed. Went in for an oil change. Service advisor claimed that my power steering went out when the technician was pulling my truck out of the service bay. He said their "top" tech was going to put the analyzer on it. They said it needed a new rack that was going to cost $4,400.00 He couldn't tell me what the labor was going to cost. While I was stuck there, I looked online and the most common cause for this problem was a blown fuse. I went to ask if they had checked the fuse. He said they did and that was the problem. Great. What could a 10amp fuse cost? Well, they charged $48 for a $1.50 fuse and then added another $360 for labor to find out what they screwed up and to install the fuse. I went in expecting to pay $200 for an oil change. (They charged $295 for an oil change) and added over $400.00 for the fuse fiasco so I had to pay $700.00 to get out of there. I felt like the victim of a robbery when I left. I would never consider doing business (getting robbed) by them again and I recommend you avoid this place at all costs. read more

It's been almost a year since I dealt with them. My engine light came on and I took it to them thinking I still had warranty. Instead of the offering to look at my vehicle to see what the issue was they sold me a vehicle I am not happy with. My warranty had ran out on my present vehicle and I still had quite a bit left to pay on it. So now I have basically 2 car payments in one due every month. I am a retired woman living on budget. They new this. Looking back I wish I would've taken my vehicle to a station where they could've tested my vehicle, maybe it was an easy fix . Hind sight, don't ever go into a dealership alone , as a woman, and have someone with you. The very least I should have made some phone calls. They told me to keep up with my payments and after a year I could possibly have it refinanced. I tried doing that and was told this particular bank doesn't do refinance unless you are behind in payments. You would think Eide would have known that when they were checking. Or at least , not tell me something they didn't know. So for a year I held tight keeping up with payments just to find out I couldn't refinance. Expensive lesson. Never again. read more

Had oil change/tire rotation done yesterday. Worst experience I ever had. After 4 previous service appts with me asking and wanting seat protector put on and being denied it finally went south. Previous times they would just give me the "don't tell us gods what to do" and did not have any big issues. This time I watch shop hand bring pickup to shop and get out. His entire right backside was covered in floor grime and dirt! Checked drivers seat which has suede leather inserts and sure enough there was the floor grime etc ground into the righ side of my drivers seat and the inserts. I was furious and chewed some of the check in staff out pretty good! But Chris F. (service manager) did not believe I had any right to be upset. He believes his people have the right to crawl all thru a customers vehicle in dirty grimey shop clothes and the customer has no right to complain! He kept on telling me "well you got a free oil change for it". He was implying I am some kind of scam artist looking for free services. All his service people just sat there and rolled their eyes at me as they also believe they do not have to take care of the customers property! I guess customers vehicles don't mean anything to Eide Dodge service staff. They can do what ever they want and the customer is NOT allowed to get mad! Yes, I was furious and absolutely raised my voice and got after them as this was completely preventable had they put a seat protector on. Well I left and about 20 minutes later the arrogant service manager Chris calls and says he didn't like the way I acted and talked to the people. So I am now banned from doing business there because I got mad at them for treating my vehicle like a garbage dump. Also Chris has also now taken away my bought and paid for free tire rotation since I bought the tires there. He stole what I have already paid for. You all need to watch when they bring your vehicle back to main area ... you will see them get out of your vehicle in their dirty grimey shop clothes with no seat protrector on! read more

I purchased a brand new 2021 Ram 2500 from this dealership. Transaction was troublesome as I have always taken my paperwork with me to DMV & paid tax/license. Dealership over charged me & had to send me a refund check. I paid for Ceramic window tint, with a 6" visor as I was moving out of state. They put the cheapest tint on with a curved visor that was 6" on sides & 4" in the middle. Tammy in the accessories department was rude, hard to work with & even went as far as to accidentally send me a text using profanity & calling me names. She thought she had text someone else. Management didn't do anything about it when I reported it either. read more

Horrible buying experience. We bought the car in early March it's now the end of April and still no title. We had to have repairs done locally on an issue they told us was fixed. We questioned the tires when we bought the car, they insisted they passed inspection; but when we got the paperwork from them they had not passed. I would never do business there again. read more

We were contacted by Eide because we have a high demand vehicle. So we did KBB and it was around $16,000. I texted back and said we were looking at something closer to $18,000. I was told in a text that the dealership was more aggressive than KBB. So I made a 180 mile trip to Bismarck and the manager offered us $12,000. It was a waste of my time and theirs. Our vehicle is in great condition and low mileage. So it was a waste of time and money. read more

Last week I test drove a new Dodge ram with full intent of purchase. With rebates the initial purchase price was $59,000. I specifically asked the salesman if I qualified for all the rebates. He responded that I qualified for all the rebates and that I could purchase the truck for the stated amount. I requested that finance put together a proposed sales agreement. When I received the written proposal, the price was increased $1500. The amount of the dealer discount was reduced by $500 with no explanation and I was no longer eligible for $1000 rebate. While waiting for finance to write the offer, the salesman gave me statistics on the truck that were not accurate, referring to a 1 ton high output truck rather than the basic three-quarter ton truck I was considering. I believe this to be an intentional misrepresentation of fact in an attempt to discount some of my concerns in the truck. I declined to purchase the truck, due to the salesman's obvious intention to mislead me, and his lack of knowledge regarding the vehicle and lack of transparency in the overall purchasing process. The next day, December 1, the truck was listed on their internet site for $59,000 without rebates. (100% dealer discounted) A day earlier the dealership attempted to gouge me for an additional $1500. Obviously they were aware that the next day the price would be reduced without the need for rebates, but confident they could get an additional $1,500 out of me. I left and will never return. I have lived in Bismarck almost 40 years and have never felt so manipulated or disrespected by a car dealership. The process made me feel like I was walking down the midway at the state fair hoping to maybe win a stuffed bear. read more

This review is on salesman Derick Martin. About two weeks ago I began communicating with Derick about coming to look at some vehicles and doing a trade in. I was very upfront and clear about what I wanted for my trade-in, which was welllll within KBB value, and told him if he thought he couldn't make it work, let's not waste each other's time. This past weekend I drove 90 miles to meet him at the dealership and found a promising vehicle. I left my personal vehicle with him for over a hour to do an appraisal, and when I came back, he made me wait another 20-30 minutes to "get the paperwork". When he brought the appraisal, he offered a trade-in value $10k LESS than what KBB suggested. My trade-in was in EXCELLENT condition and he wasted my time the past two weeks. Stay away from this guy. He has no clue about the dealerships inventory or functions/accessories of the cars he's trying to sell. read more

Never buy a used vehicle even, if it is just a few months old, (or new one for that matter) without taking it an independent mechanic for a full diagnostic and visual inspection of all aspects of the car. Eide Chrysler will tell you that the car has been inspected top to bottom, when in actuality it isn't. All they do is perform the 16-point check which measures things like tire tread depth and fluid levels. Without an independent diagnostic and inspection you will end up with a vehicle that has multiple issues which should have easily been caught by the dealership. When brought to their attention, you MIGHT get the simplest of things fixed after numerous discussions with them. I have dealt with multiple quality Jeep/Chrysler dealerships in the past 20 years, and Eide Chrysler it NOT a reputable dealership. read more

I had a recall on my vehicle and I schedule an appointment with Eide Chrysler and it snowballed from there. 1) they didn't give me a 24 hour notice about scheduling my appointment at the wrong time. 2) they told me that I could bring my vehicle in and drop it off and have a loaner vehicle ready for me because they feared that they wouldn't get my recall done. 3) I drive my vehicle to them and say I'm here to drop off my vehicle and grab that loaner, on the spot they told me no. I'm left confused because the day before they told me that they would loan out a vehicle because their schedule was busy and even though if I did bring my vehicle in at the schedule time they still wouldn't get to it.. what's the point of scheduling appointment. Terrible customer service. May I add, when you call I feel like it's a hassle to get help. I usually go to jeep dealer/service and Eide Chrysler is by far the worst one yet. I shouldn't have to advocate for service to get a simple fix done for a RECALL! Clearly, they are hiring people to leave excellent reviews on google. read more

The car had problems just about immediately I contacted the dealership they said that they will not do anything about it. I purchased from a dealer to try and make sure that I would be taken care of. Don't even consider them for buying or servicing your vehicle. I would give 0 stars if able. This company is terrible for customer service. They have dealership warranties and policies that half the staff know nothing about. You have to argue with them to get them to stand by their work/product. If you're not lucky to get a vehicle that has no issues you will constantly be in and out of the shop. They are terrible at listening to what the issue is. Brought my car in to fix an issue with the egr valve. Told them the code I got before I took it in. Came back to pick up and was told their diagnostics said it was good and normal. No repairs were even made and I got left with a $120 bill to tell me what I already knew. STEALERSHIP! read more

Vehicle sat waiting to be evaluated for almost 24 giyrw. finally called back to tell me I need a new battery, then they quoted some outrageous amount for factory equivalent battery. So I flew out to buy a 2015 diesel from them after being assured the truck was inspected and ready to drive back to california . My flight gets in around 8 so I buy the truck around 830 everything is set up and ready for me to sign. Like they were pushing me out anyways I'm cool with it the truck looks and felt good driving and I was gonna take the guys word that it was fully inspected and ready to drive cross country. Well shit that want the case at all. I get about 5 hours in and have a hose blow of my turbo whatever easy fix but I notice it' has a bad leak somewhere not sure what kinda fluid it is.. I drive it back to Cali have it checked out it's missing multiple bolts in the engine and some other stuff so it leaking major fuel.. in the shop for a week and Eide doesn't even want to help figure out the problem or help pay for repairs. I purchased a used Cadillac SRX 2010 from Eide Chrysler back in September of 2018. Five days after having the vehicle my trunk stopped working. After they pushed me away and told me they couldn't do anything for me and to take my business elsewhere. I took the problem into my own hands and come to find out my trunk stopped working because the electrical module was sitting in a couple inches of water. Was told they do a thorough inspections on all used vehicles $2,800 later they fixed it and the guy who did the inspection was fired. Not even 5 months of having the car the wheel bearing has had to been replaced, the heater has gone out, the radio connectivity had to be replaced, and now my power steering doesn't work. Fed up with the vehicle I wanted to get rid of it however they said I had to trade it in and were only willing to give me $5,000 less than what I paid for it only 5 months ago. Throughout the whole process I experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. On multiple occasions I was told they would be getting back to me and I found myself having to reach out to them. I strongly recommend anyone looking to purchase from here to reconsider. I will never recommend them to anyone nor purchase another vehicle from them! read more
