Horrible from start to finish. I paid close to $300 to get rid of a few ants in my kitchen. I was supposed to get a return visit when the ants did not leave. I took a day off from work and waited for the technician - horrible long window of time and they never showed up. I called repeatedly and finally found out they had rescheduled another day without even notifying me. This happened again a second time and I told them I don't want to do business with them anymore and they promised me a refund. I never got the refund and 6 weeks later was told the refund was reviewed and subsequently denied. I appealed it with them and they denied it again. DON'T DO BUSINESS with this company - they are incompetent and unethical. read more

Staff scheduled and no showed four times. It took contacts with better business bureau to attempt To get the work completed. This has gone on for months, we had to pay as they turned the claim over to collections and the work still isn't completed. Very frustrating as now they won't even return calls to complete the work. No one seems to be responsible and managers never return calls. I would give them Less than a one star. read more

If I could give them 0 stars i would. They took my money, thousands of dollars for a home exclusion service ans then did almost nothing. They patched up some siding and set a trap and never came back. They never baited the trap or caught anything. I tried to call over and over but they never showed. Absolutely useless. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I've ever recommended a vendor less. If you have a choice of vendors for your pest control needs, I would suggest looking elsewhere. My frustrations are largely with the way this business is organized from a management, communication, and customer service perspective. No specific grievances against the technician or even individual reps. I placed a work order for my condo unit through my HOA, and this is the partner vendor. There has been evidence of rodents in our top floor unit attic (droppings) so was looking for service to remediate. Was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly after the work order was placed. Great! Had a confirmed time window of 8am-noon. I made arrangements to be out of work and at the home during this time period so someone could let the technician in and talk about the job as needed. The time comes and goes, and the technician is a no show. I give the vendor a call to check in to see if there was still someone coming, which routes me to a generic customer service rep, and the best they can do for me is take down a message and request a callback. No one calls and I have to leave. I get an email around 4 or 5pm noting that someone stopped by around 2pm but wasn't able to complete the service because no one was there. No phones calls or attempts to reach me to let me know they were running behind, a new ETA, or even when they arrived and weren't able to get in. A bit frustrating, but I was able to get the service scheduled for a week later. Same confirmed time window of 8am-noon, same situation of making arrangements to be there, same no call no show experience... And I had requested a call to let me know when they were on the way as well this time. Again, many hours later I got an email saying someone had stopped by around 2:45pm. Rescheduled again... for two more weeks out... this time someone does show up, and at that point informs me they don't have ladders anymore so he can't go up to our attic, which was clearly the issue noted in the work order. The worst part of the experience was just that there was no way to reach someone directly to sort things out with the missed appointments. Any call will go to a different rep and all they can do is take a message, put a note on the account, and request a callback. Not one time did I actually get a callback as requested. I only was called in response to emails with the HOA and vendor. These calls came from computer created numbers that you couldn't call back. read more

First of all, not all their technicians know what they are doing. The first technician didnt care much about the job he was doing, the second one was surprised by the job done by the first. They explained to me one thing on the initial call about the contract, and then the actual contract was totally different. They were charging me every month without a service. TERMINIX said they cant help me, because my contract is with EHRLICH, and EHRILCH said they would not refund my money. EHRLICH is a dishonest company, stay away from it. TERMINIX is just a big name who uses other companies to do their services. read more

So very disappointed in this service! I called to have the inside and outside of Home sprayed. I told the CSR when I called that the only issue we were having a tiny bug, a bit bigger than a gnat, was seen in house. The insect did not fly. The order was written for inside/outside. The tech arrives and says the order stated we had issues with cockroaches. My husband was surprised to hear that and told him absolutely not. My husband shows him the small insect; which the tech did not know what it was, but guessed it to be a boxelder. Which it is not. Anyways, my husband confirmed we were scheduled to have inside and outside sprayed. The tech stated the government does not allow inside of Home to be sprayed. He could only spray outside. The tech stated spraying outside would certainly take care of the insects from coming inside the house. So he just sprays the outside. We wait a few days and see no improvement. I called CS and requested a follow-up spray. I also told the CS, I was not happy that I was told, and billed, for inside/outside spraying, but the tech said he was not allowed for inside spraying. The CS confirmed the tech was incorrect. Spraying inside the home is a normal part of service. So the followup service call was booked. Day of service- and no service showed. No call. I once again call CSR and was told there must have been an error when scheduling the follow up. It took me 50 minutes on hold just to have them make an error in scheduling?? At this point I requested a full refund. 316.00. I still have the insect issue and they failed at the follow-up service. I was told all I could get refunded was half of the amount paid since the tech did spray outside. I again told her yes he did, but it did not do anything. That apparently did not matter. 30 days later, and I am still wait for my partial refund. SHOPPERS BEWARE. DO NOT USE TERMINEX EHRLICH. read more

Twice this summer so far technician lied about being out and spraying the yard for mosquitoes. We had to call a couple times because no one showed up and mosquitoes were horrible. Rep on phone gave me dates that the technician claimed he came out. We have house cameras and checked. No one had come out! Why lie??!! We will find a new company next year. Worst experience with pest control. In the past we used Eradico for pest control and had a really great relationship with not only the company, but the service man who visited our home. He was so personable and effective. Since then, Eradico sold their business to Ehrlich and things went downhill very fast. The home office is not longer located in Michigan. Which means you speak with representatives that do not know the area. You must call, leave messages, and email them multiple times to even get them to contact you. They are very difficult to get a hold of, and not very helpful when you do. When they make appointments they never show up at the correct time. We once waited all day only to find out they were not coming. The next time they came four days early to the appointment. This is ridiculous! They also quote you one price, then bill you for a higher amount. Then it takes a really long time to speak with a salesperson to try to rectify the situation. This month instead of coming to our home on the scheduled date they came in the pouring rain to spray the outside of the house. It was extremely ineffective and we still had pest issues. Since then it took two weeks to reach them and get them to come back out, and again they showed up on the wrong day at the wrong time. Luckily we were home. I do not plan on using this company again and hope to find a more local business. read more

They are awful! our company has a contract with them to come the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, they show up whenever they feel like it, IF they show up at all. Still bill the same whether they show up or not. Call for a manager and get told they will call back the next day or within 24 hours and never get a call. When you finally get ahold of a manager they tell you everything will be fixed and the tech will come as supposed to and same thing happens. They don't go in attics, they now don't deal with stinging insects, they don't deal with mice except for throwing a few blocks of poison around. They don't deal with any sort of critters that are in your attics or walls. Pretty much only deal with ants. Would not recommend them at all! read more

Technicians are great people. Company is the worst. There is NO customer service. They were supposed to start spraying my property at the beginning of May. 9 calls later - no one has shown up and I keep hearing "We will have a supervisor call you within 48 hours" No one has ever called me. Don't use this company. They are the worst company I have ever had to deal with - and that's saying something. read more

Technicians are fine. Many other better actual local companies will provide extermination services. JC Ehrlich has a perpetual contract that they will avoid letting you out of. I contracted them on three properties. I have tried to cancel the service for over a year. They are now harassing me over an unpaid bill for future services they have not even provided yet. I scheduled an appointment for between 1 and 5 and they said they would give me a call 15 minutes before they came out. No one ever showed up or called. I reached out to them at 5 and was told by some woman that she was going to speak with a manager and either she or a manager would call me back and reschedule for Saturday. Again no one called no one reached out. So I called the next day and spoke with someone who was unable to reschedule or contact a manager. Unprofessional and just a joke. read more

I've used Ehrlich Pest Control now for 3+years because their technician in my area, Robert, is great! The problem with this company is not with the actual pest control; it's with their customer service or lack of it. It is not easy to get an issue resolved because there are so many chains of command and most of the representatives that answer the phone do not come from the US. It is hard to understand then and they are limited in what they can do. Resolving 2 different billing problems took me over 30 days of constant phone calls and following up-with each one! And trying to cancel service and get a refund for a charge that was billed without the customers request? Good luck! There are so many hoops to go through and you have to be continually on top of it. Too much work and aggravation from a company with great technicians. I quit. read more

Really frustrating business to work with. It was very difficult to schedule them to come out. I would call and try to schedule for them to come and spray our yard for ticks, and they would tell me the technician would be in touch to schedule a date. And then they didn't call me, but a charge randomly showed up from them, and I called and they said the technician came out to my house and sprayed. I have a one year old and I wanted to make sure we didn't go outside or walk around the house when they sprayed. But I had no way of knowing they had been there. read more

Want to read the pest control review? I've used these guys for almost a full year and my pest control noticeably got worse over that time. They put me in a program where they withdraw a monthly payment and they are supposed to come out for periodic maintenance. With the initial visit they set sticker traps throughout the house and spot treated a few areas. Over the next 8 months we saw them once. We complained to the office that no one has been out since the initial visit and our pest problem is worse than before they started treating our property. They sent someone came out to the house and spent less than 5 minutes spraying the outside of the house. They didn't bother knocking down the 7 wasp nest outside our house and never sprayed inside the house. I called the office again to cancel service with the company. The regional manager called me back offering to make good on the treatment to the home and threw in 2 free mosquito treatment for the inconvenience. Well needless to say they never showed up for the basic maintenance and never sprayed the yard for mosquitoes. I tried to call back the regional manager but he won't pick up and his voicemail is full. In the time I was waiting for them to come back out they withdrew another payment from my bank account. The inside of our house has a ton of spiders and the outside is infested with yellow jackets, and wasps. Total waste of money. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Ehrlich was adequate last year. This year, we were inundated with mosquitoes, even with the spray. I read that there is a new breed of mosquito in Michigan that is resistant to spray but even so, buying this service seems pointless. I'm can't have been the only one affected and would have appreciated some follow through from Ehrlich on why there were still so many mosquitoes. Have n vet met my technician. read more

I will never use this company. I gave my credit card number requesting a call back from a representative to speak about what I needed and wanted for pest control. No one called me back. No one provided service. The company has charged my credit card twice for services never rendered.
